Hi, I love prestashop however we are now experiencing some limitations within the software. I am hoping the someone will be able to help and guide the best method to resolve our problem. We currently have an online shop using the prestashop platform, we also have a warehouse where we stock all our products, every product line has a unique reference number along with a location reference number. When an order gets created in Prestashop, how can I get the information to the warehouse pickers to go and collect the order for dispatch. The information they require is Order Number Product Name Product Reference Product Location reference (currently in warehouse) Customer Name Customers Delivery Address Any customer Messages. I thought that I could get the picker to use a windows tablet whilst logged into the back office to view all the orders then collect and dispatch, however we are finding this very cumbersome as they have to go into each and every order each time to find the relevant information they need. Also the warehouse location is not shown on the order page so they have no idea where in the warehouse to start looking. To be honest a printed pick list would work really well however prestshop does not have this functionally. I have thought of using the invoice or delivery slip but again there is no location on these documents and also these cannot be printed based on an order status. For example, only print delivery slips where the order status is "Awaiting Fulfillment" not print all delivery slips for between dates. If there is a better way how we can resolve this problem, any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Nick

I'm looking for someone interested in develop a back-office dispatch/shipping transactions/orders module for prestashop. It needs to take care of all shipping processes: - Receive transactions/orders for Prestashop particular shop (sub-shop of multi-store) and certain status (defined in parameters) - Divide the number of transactions by box (defined in parameters) - List/Print Picking List grouped by location in warehouse - Through barcode recognize the product and inform the target box - After a transaction/order is complete print shipping generic label and Prestashop invoice (when carrier of shop is DHL, save information's for a table in database to be picked by logistics software) - When the picking list is complete the status of transaction/order in Prestashop need to be changed Simple wire-frame, workflow and workflow details here (and small video): https://www.dropbox....description.rar

Estou a procura de alguém interessado em desenvolver um módulo para back-office do prestashop. O objectivo é criar uma ferramenta que possa auxiliar com o processo de envio das encomendas. Deve tomar em conta: - Ler as compras de determinado sub-shop (de uma instalação multi-store) por determinado estado. (a configuração do estado deve constar numa secção de definições) - Criar uma picking list com X numero de compras em que cada compra corresponde a uma box no armazém. (o numero de compras deve constar também nas definições) - Criar/Imprimir a picking list ordenando os artigos pela sua localização no armazém - Para processar a picking list deve ser lido o código de barras dos produtos e informar qual a box para a qual ele deve ir. - Quando a compra/box está completa deve imprimir automaticamente a etiqueta e a factura. - Se a transportadora é a DHL, deve guardar a informação em ficheiro ou base de dados para ser lida em "pooling" pelo software da transportadora. - Deve ainda alterar o estado da compra para "completo" (este estado deve poder ser configurado igualmente na secção de definições) Caso alguém tenha interesse por favor enviem mensagem privada, dúvidas gerais por favor coloquem no post para serem respondidas a todos. Hi All About to embark on a new ecommerce project and was very interested in what prestashop has to offer. A brief overview of what my client requires: 1. Picking list order - categories, sub categories (aquiram -> Fishtank -> Brand) -> Order List to customer -> Packing list to Distibutor -> Invoice is sent after approval - After placing an order, an order list is sent to the customer and a packing list sent to the admin. The packing list needs to be able to be ordered in the products respective categories as stated above. Once the order has been approved, and invoice is sent to the customer. 2. Placing order, no transaction. - No payment transaction actually takes place, a packing list is sent to distributor 3. ENewsletters - Is this built in or would require a module? ADVANCED Sales Rep -> Customer list -> Select customer -> Make an order (on behalf of customer) - CUSTOM - For road show events, sales reps should be able have a customer list to select from and place an order on behalf of them. If anyone has any better workflows that work within the bounds of prestashop please kindly advise.. otherwise are there any modules existing that would help with this? Thanks!

Hi Guys, I am designing a shop for a chocolateur. He sells chocolates by the box, but wants to allow clients to choose the different kind of chocolates they want to put in the box, so they might choose 2 x chocolate A, 4 x chocolate B and so on....then they would check out. Does anyone know how i would achieve this is Prestashop? I am running 1.4.8. I would really appreciate any help
