Hello everyone, This is my first forum post here. I have a multi-shop Prestashop (1.7.5.2) site with two subdomains (shop1 & shop2). The problem I am facing: On shop1, when I go to Back-Office -> Catalogue -> Products -> Product choose -> Options tab -> Customization Head and enter the some Customization text as a Text Field for one shop (check screenshot attached). On saving, it gets saved but the Text Field disappears from the shop2. The same behavior occurs when I save the Text Field from the shop2. I cannot simultaneously have the Customization text fields on both shops. (The same issue occurs on Prestashop version 1.7.7 also) I looked into the code and found that in `src/Adapter/Product/AdminProductWrapper.php` the following function calls delete all other text fields than the ones currently entered. $product->softDeleteCustomizationFields($customization_ids); // and Customization::deleteCustomizationFieldLangByShop($customizationFiled['id_customization_field'], $shopList); I could not find how to fix it though. Can anyone please help me with this asap? I'll be highly grateful.

Hi everyone, I've been working for a while on a Prestahop 1.7 multi-shop project (2 shops). Each shop has its own custom theme (bought on the Prestashop store). Since the beginning and every now and then, problems appear in the display of some elements (header cart link out of place, home slider not visible any more...). Emptying the Prestashop cache in the back-office solves the problem for a while, but it comes back after a couple of hours or days. After a bit of searching, I thought that Prestashop mixed some css styles between the 2 themes. But it seems that it mixes more than css styles : Prestashop loads the wrong template for some modules (ps_imageslider for example). Is it a known problem ? and is there a workaround ? For the little issues, I covered that with extra classes css, but sometimes when the templates are really different, it's not enough. Any help would be appreciated

Can anyone help me with the multi-shop options? I am trying to select the share customers to share so that I can also select the share quantity's and share orders. But the share customers option is greyed out on the group options so cannot select it. Would anyone know why that is? Chris,

Hello guys, Is-it possible to use the geolocation module to redirect customers to a specific shop based on their IP address ? Example, I have multi-shop activated and two shops : de.mywebsite.com (for germany) fr.mywebsite.com (for france) I would like to automatically redirect customers from germany to de.mywebsite.com and customers from france to fr.mywebsite.com. Hi Experts, I would like to get your opinion on this. I have few shop groups. Let’s Say shop group A, B, and C. Each group has got a number of sub shops. This full system (webserver and application Server) is available in network ‘X’ (with internet). Let’s call it MASTER. Now I have a use case, where I have to make to each of these sub shops available in a particular network (its intranet with no internet connection). Let’s say shop-group A has two sub shops - A1 and A2. Only A1 should be available inside network ‘Y’ and only A2 inside network ‘Z’. After regular interval, I have to synchronize shop group A, B and C with master. Where there is a possibility that the content of MASTER (for any of these shop groups) has been updated in between. My initial plan is to copy everything from the MASTER (from network ‘X’) and deploy in network ‘Y’ and network ‘Z’. Then adjust the shoup_url, so that only one url is accessible from that network. But I have no idea, how I would do the synchronization? That means the bidirectional update of shop A1 of network ‘Y’ with shop A1 of Network ‘X’ and vice versa. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hi, If someone could give me some advice on how to address the below points that would be fantastic. I want to run multi-store features, multiple domains. 1 - Can you use 2 different themes for multi-store? 1 store 1 theme, the other store different theme? 2.- Can you use different shipping options between stores? e.g 1 store uses Fedex, the other uses DHL 3.- Can you use different payment options between stores? e.g 1 uses bank gateway, the other uses eway 4. Can you select which stores show/sell different or same products? And if so, where is this option in the backend? Thank you

Right now I've got two shops set up and functioning pretty well. In the cpanel domain of the first shop, I parked the domain of the second shop. Then I added an SSL certificate for the first shop. Both shops are set up in /, no subdirectories. Adding SSL for the second shop seems to be trickier. Since it's a parked domain, and I can only have one SSL cert. per cpanel, I first had the idea to create a separate cpanel for the second shop and add SSL that way. Since the domain would remain the same, and the only difference being I'm using 2 cpanels instead of 1, it should work, right? Or maybe not. Reading the 1.5 docs, it seems that the two shops are running from the one database with URL-rewriting accomplishing the two shops. So I'm wondering what happens when I add the second domain to its own cpanel. It's no longer parked and it points to a dedicated IP address (for SSL). Does the magic of URL-rewriting keep it chugging along? Or should I possibly create a c-panel just for the SSL and make it a subdomain. (not sure if I can create a cpanel for a sub-domain). ? I know the developers designed it to run a bunch of stores, and each store needs SSL, I'm just not sure how to do it. Any experience? Thx.

I’m having trouble with the multi-shop function in Prestashop 1.5.3. The main shop works fine – but the front office of the second shop doesn’t. When I call the second shop in a browser it’s the main shop that displays. If I call a preview of a product page from the second shop’s back office – I get a 404 error. I installed PS on a shared Apache server. I have two domains set up with Plesk so that domain01.com is the main domain and domain02.com is an alias pointing to the same site root. I activated the multi-shop function and created a second shop group then a second shop within that new group with a new name, new logo, different theme, etc. The Shops URLs are configured as follows : Groupe : Default Boutique 1 URL principale activé Domaine = domaine01.com Domaine = domaine01.com URI physique : / URI virtuelle : URL finale : domaine01.com Groupe : Seconde Boutique 2 URL principale activé Domaine = domaine02.com Domaine = domaine02.com URI physique : / URI virtuelle : URL finale : domaine02.com The backoffice displays a warning that mod_rewrite is not active on the server, although my hosting company assures me that it is. Hi everyone, I have a really simple question: How do I import products using CSV Import in different languages? The problem I found is the following: when I import a file with, for example, english language, I select "English" in the dropdown menu in the "CSV Import" form and I select the corresponding CSV file. Until now, everything is ok. Then, when I want to import the, for example, spanish language, I select "Spanish" in the mentioned dropdown menu and I select the corresponding CSV file again, who is exactly the same as the english CSV, but in spanish. Then, when I do the importing, all fields are in spanish, no matter the language you check. If it helps, I have to say the only fields I want to translate are features, because I don't use short/long description. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards!

Hi folks, I am having an Issue with an updated PS from 1.4.6 to 1.5.4. In my development Server, the problem wasn't showing because SSL isn't on. I've got 2 shops in multi-shop config. Here's the history : First I had problem with the Cartin AJAX. When I was on my website in non-secure protocol (ex : http://www.mydomain.com/) the website couldn't add product to cart. Without AJAX it was okay, but unacceptable for the client requierement. I searched a lot and found out the secure protocol needed to be ON to communicate with my cart controller. So... I changed my htaccess to be able to ALWAYS reroute to secure domain (The whole website, didn't really want to, but since I don't know where the client will put "add_to_cart" button, I must). The code in the htaccess goes like this : RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off # First rewrite to HTTPS: # Don't put www. here. If it is already there it will be included, if not # the subsequent rule will catch it. But categories, product and CMS are in a deadlock position (Trying to redirect to secure when non-secure and redirecting to non-secure when in secure). So I investigated. Tools.php manage redirections and is using the function redirectLink($url) to redirect. But the URL alreayd as "http://" in it when getting there... I also noted that my URL for both of my shops start with http:// My question (FINALLY) : How can I configure Prestashop to ALWAYS use HTTPS url??? My Redirection are working in Htaccess, I just want prestashop to STOP redirecting to Non-secured. Best ragards to the community Martin

Hi Guys, I'd like to run Prestashop with two stores, each with their own staff, stock, shipping, currency and payment facility. Really, it's two seperate shops under one site. Is it possible to do this effectively. If is is, how does orders that cross both shops work, is it possible to seperate them automatically for proceessing and logistics? The alternative is to set up two seperate installs. Has anyone tried this before? David

Hola comunidad. Soy completamente nuevo esto y tengo un problema con seleccionar el idioma por defecto para cada una de las tiendas del multi-shop. Tengo 2 dominios diferentes, 226ers.de y 226ers.com, y en cada uno de estos dominios quiero tener la tienda en el idioma que corresponde, teniendo en cuenta que el .com será el castellano. Pero cuando intento poner en el dominio .de que el idioma por defecto sea el aleman, siempre aparece el castellano. Y la unica forma de hacer que se vea en aleman, es activando en el idioma de castellano la tienda 226ers.de que aparece en el listado de tiendas al final, porque en esta pantalla, no aparece el desplegable arriba con todas las tiendas del multi-shop. Pero cuando entras en www.226ers.de, sale por defecto el idioma de castellano, y en la url www.226ers.de/es. Ahi si que aparece en la parte de cambiar idioma, el aleman y cuando le das, si que se ve la tienda en aleman. Espero haberme explicado claramente. Un saludo y gracias de antemano.

Hello, I am working on a 2 shops project, I have some difficulties with CSV imports on the following points : - How to import quantity available in warehouses, concerned stocks ? (For the moment I have simply the quantities in catalog but nothing in Stock / management of stocks) - How to import with different prices according to shops? - Can I import directly packs ? - How not to publish products in a shop during the import ? (Because I have a shop with products retail and an other who proposes sale by packs) Thanks to all

Bonjour, Je suis en train de créer un module multi boutique mais je n'arrive pas à rentre mon ObjectModel "Machin" complètement fonctionnel. J'ai créé des table machin, machin_lang et machin_shop. J'utilise ensuite pour créer une requête dans une methode statique de mon ObjectModel, la méthode Shop::addSqlAssociation('machin', 'm') mais elle ne me renvoie rien. En regardant de plus près j'ai remarqué que la classe Shop initialise un tableau avec toutes les associations possibles, càd toutes les tables qui sont multi-shop. D'ou mes questions : - Y-a-t-il un moyen d'ajouter ma table "machin" à ce tableau, depuis le module, sans override ? - Est-ce le bon moyen pour créer un ObjectModel multi-shop ? This is probably unusual. I created two shops in Multi-Shop. Both are fairly identical, but have different domains. In one shop I have to have product images with white backgrounds for Amazon ads. In the other, nothing to do with Amazon, I prefer my stone background for products. Okay, so I have the same products in both shops. In one, I go into Image Upload and choose an image with the white background. In the other shop, I go into Image Upload and choose a differently named image of the same product with my preferred background. In the Back Office Images window, it shows Shop A with the white image checked as the main image. It shows Shop B with the stone image checked, but it's not the main image. When I open both shops in a browser, the image showing is the white background image from Shop A. If I go into Shop B backoffice and make the stone background image the "main" image, then both Shop A and Shop B show the product with the stone background. I can't get one shop with the white images and the other shop with the stone images. Does anyone know of a workaround? Thx. Oh, just to mention, I regenerated thumbnails but it didn't help.

Hi. I am actually working on "emulating" multi-shop/multi-stock functionalities working on product attributes. In particular I did create a product attribute group named "shops" and assigning it values, (and product quantities) for each shop/stock. This is my scenario/issue: My client has different warehouses (W1 and W2) storing the same products (obviously with different available quantities), and the ability to move them, accordingly to customer request, in a very short time, with no shipping cost. Now I would like to inform the customer about this opportunity, telling him that his products will be available soon. I'm new to PrestaShop, (actually using 1.4.5.1 version), and maybe someone found another elegant solution to this. Did you? Thanks
