Hello, I used this code: {$urls.pages.cart} to get the cart url page. If I am not logged in when I click on the button it redirect me to the cart page what is normal. But if I am logged in, even if I have products on cart or not, the button redirect me to the homepage. Any advices? Thank you!

Hi, We have a cookie pb with our version of Prestashop 1.6.0.13 : the order can't be finished because the cart empties when entering the checkout page. This happens with all browsers. (see error message attached) log in to an existing account is not working until cookies are cleared or when you navigate in private. (see error message attached) We have cleared cookies and caches of the browsers, the problem comes back randomly, apparently. We have disabled the geoloc option, and tried to disable most of our modules, but it keeps coming back. Our website is https://www.kazoart.com Could you help me to solve it? Thank you Mathilde

Hello, I am constantly getting logged out of the backend of my website, through different ways. Whether I try to navigate to Preferences > CMS, or click save once I'm in the CMS page, it logs me out, and when I try to log back in, the page refreshes. Is this something to do with cache or IP cache? I have tried different browsers, deleted browser cache and the cache from /cache/, but this still happens. Please could someone provide a solution to this issue?

Hi, I am currently experiencing problems with my site in that clients are unable to complete the identification process. After they have filled in all the fields to make their inscription it returns back to the page where you have to enter your address and password without any of the entered information having been saved. Good morning, I've been using prestashop for several years but it's the first time I have this problem. Prestashop 1.6.20 with PHP 7.0 and SSL. When I try to access to the backoffice in https and I work in the various sections everything is OK, but when I click on "Catalog -> Products" I log out automatically. The problem is that from that moment I can no longer access the backoffice by entering the credentials, the only way to access it is logging in http and not https, in this mode I can also access the product list. I did not understand the dynamics but also in this mode (http) after some various operations I throw it out and to access it I have to log in https, I tried to regenerate the htacces in the root of prestashop but nothing, does not solve the problem. I tried to fix the database and access privileges through the prestashop module but nothing, did not solve the problem. I do not know where to look for the error ... does anyone have an idea? Buongiorno a tutti voi, uso prestashop da diversi anni ma è la prima volta che ho questo problema. Prestashop 1.6.20 con PHP 7.0 e SSL. Quando effetto l'accesso in backoffice in https e lavoro nelle varie sezioni tutto ok, ma quando clicco su "Catalogo -> Prodotti" mi fa il logout automaticamente. Il problema è che da quel momento non riesco più ad accedere al backoffice inserendo le credenziali, l'unico modo per accedervi è loggandomi in http e non https, in questa modalità riesco ad accedere anche alla lista prodotti. Non ho capito la dinamica ma anche in questa modalità (http) dopo alcune operazioni varie mi butta fuori e per accedervi devo fare il log in in https, ho provato a rigenerare l'htacces nella root di prestashop ma nulla, non risolve il problema. Ho provato a sistemare il database e i privilegi di accesso tramite il modulo di prestashop ma nulla, non ha risolto il problema. Non so dove cercare l'errore... qualcuno ha un'idea? Hej Jeg har fået et par store problem, 1) kan ikke logge ind i min admin, og 2) på min webshop kan man ikke lægge noget i varekurven. Ved ikke om det hænger sammen med at jeg inden for den sidste måneds tid har modtaget en del mail fra "ru". Jeg har stort set intet begreb om at rette i diverse ting udover i selve prestashoppen, så håber en kan hjælpe og forklare mig helt enkelt hvordan jeg kan klare dette problem. Min shop er hostet hos Unoeuro og shoppen er v. 1.6 PS har prøvet at efter løsninger på siden, men synes ikke der er noget der kan bruges. mvh. Arne

Hi I cannot log in Prestashop Addons from the BackOffice Prestashop 1.7.3. I'm using localhost, I just installed thePrestaShop version. -
This occurred upgrading from 1.6.1.2 to 1.6.1.3 but has happened with previous version upgrades. If you get a situation where you are not getting an error message stating that your email used or password is wrong but the program times out before reaching the admin with no error message leaving you at the log in screen. The solution is this: Use file manager or ftp program and go to the shop, then open config and edit settings.pdf. Make sure everything is accurate especially the folder for the shop. Open the database using myphp (make sure that you are not trying to use the same database for two shops unless you are using multi-store) admin and go to the shop url, make sure the shop url is accurate as if it is not it will create a conflict. If you are using a directory for your shop such as prestashop make sure there is a forward slash before and after the sub-directory. If everything is accurate go to employee and edit. Now go back to the settings.php edit in the file manager and delete the code in the cookie but be careful you do not delete the whole line or the punctuation characters just the numbers and letters in the cookie code. Then go back to the php admin of the edit of employee and current password code and put in the same password you have in the settings,php without putting anything in for the cookie key then save it making sure you use md5 for the encryption settings in the drop down list. Then go down and hit go. Go back to your login page and whala you should now be able to log in. -
Hi! I am new with prestashop and I hope that the community can help me out here. I logged in two days ago using Chrome into the admin. Today I couldn't in Chrome, but I can in Safari. Anyone has an idea why this could be happening? Thanks in advanced! Matias.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to change the LOCK icon on the top right of the header section on all pages (shows in many themes and configurations) - to change instead of showing the 'locked' and 'unlocked' icon when as user is signed in or out respectively to show a text link instead saying: "My Accoun" or "Sign In/Out" I tried looking at the header.tpl file and a few others but no such luck. Any help will be much appreciated!

Hello I would like to ask if anybody had the same problem or if anybody has a solution. When I log in to my back office, most of the pages I wanna visit then can't keep me logged in, ask me to login in again and when I do and fill my data to the form, it just shows me blank page then. I can't use like 90% of things in back office, including actualizing the modules and changing the merch, so it keeps me completely paralyzed. Any suggestions? Thank you very much!

Hello. I have a prestashop cloud shop...i bought a theme & i have been working on it over last couple days. Ive just come to log in & it takes me straight to a page, where it ask's me to start a new shop!!! Does anyone know whats going on? Thanks Tim -

Hi, I have Prestashop 1.6.0.6 So recently I install Google site map. after that when I am logging in to back office after 1-2 min. it is automatically coming again to login page. I cannot even add product or looking at statistics. For every step I need to log in again. What can be reason? -
So, I did something stupid as it turns out... After installing PrestaShop and a theme and getting my web site up and looking OK, I had the Back Office running fine and was making progress. I was curious about trying to configure Presta Shop without a theme, so I tried to install Presta Shop a second time, pointing to a different folder of course, with no theme. The result made a serious mess. I have it MOSTLY cleaned up, but my Back Office settings are trashed. When I try to log into the Back Office now, using my regular user name and password, I get the message: There is one error: 1. The Employee does not exist, or the password provided is incorrect. Tried clicking the Lost Password link, but it doesn't DO anything. I have a feeling that I managed to blow away my settings, including my email and user ID so the software "doesn't know me anymore". Domain is: JewelryByAlison.com I have a theme applied. Any help to get my Back Office log on functional again so I can finish the one site I started will be much appreciated. I am guessing I may have to "hack" myself somehow, but I have no idea where to start. Much thanks in advance for any ideas. Alison

I have installed Prestashop on my web space and logged in the back office without problems few days ago. Now I cant even access the login page, I get this message : "Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'sweetarts_fr'@'10.XXX.XX.XX' (using password: YES)". help please. -

Hi, I done upgrade to the latest version 1.5.5 and I experiencing problem when I try to log in to my admin back office. I entered my correct login id and password and it doesn't direct me to the back office, it just keep refresh back to the same log in page. I appreciate if anyone could advise me and help to solve the issue. Thank you in advance. -
Hi everyone, I have a bit of a newbie question for you guys. I need to make a small change to the code on my Prestashop site and have found out that I can do it by downloading Notepadd++. My problem is that I can't seem to login to Notepadd++ to make any changes. Here's what i'm typing in when attempting to login: hostname: sitename.co.uk port: 21 (Notepadd++ does this itself) username: the username I type in to login to Prestashop Password: the password I type in to login to Prestashop Do I need to add anything into the initial remote directory field? I'm not 100% sure whether I'm adding the right thing into the hostname field. Where would I go to find my hostname? Thanks

When I try to login to my Admin Panel I receive this message below: There is 1 errorEmployee does not exist or password is incorrect. I then request a password reset to be emailed and the email does not arrive. I tried to go in through my hosting company and gain access via PHPMyAdmin. Once I get to that spot, I am asked for a user name and password. Same Issue there. I am unable to enter the Cookie Key because I can't get past the login.

I am unable to log in to my Admin Panel. I receive this error when trying... There is 1 errorEmployee does not exist or password is incorrect. I then send a request for a new password, and the email never arrives. I then try to go through my web host via the PHPMyAdmin so I can enter the COOKIE_KEY. Problem is I can't get past the PHPMyAdmin page because once again I'm asked for my username and password. Please Help. I need to update products in my store and I can't get in.

When user buy product, automaticly must be generate a inlog name = client nr & password = zipcode. This must be send to user mail after user bought product and he can login with this credentials on a automaticly created user account. Normally in PrestaShop there is generated the email address as inlogname and a auto generated random password. I find an example site where automaticly is send inlog name = client nr & password = zipcode: http://offer-nl.greenactiveplus.com/lp2/?Aff_ID=18&Aff_sub1=195761&TransactionID=1024d90747c29ddd1a994736795b7a&Offer_ID=96 So when fill in form and order product, automaticly is created an account and inlog details are send automaticly to user on this site. Beste allemaal, In het thema van mijn keuze zit standaard de module om met facebook en twitter in te loggen. Alleen ik krijg dit niet werkend!!
