i want someone to make a workaround so i can add insurance without any modules i tried editing gift wrap option so it can be percentage instead of fixed usd, but i failed to do so

Hi, I need to add an insurance option during check-out which allows the customer to view the insurance value and add it to his order during check-out. It must be percentage based (not a fixed value) so let's say the insurance is 3% then the insurance amount would be 3% of the total order amount. An example of what I need; Product Cost - 80.00$ Shipping costs - 20.00$ ****************************** Sub-Total = 100.00$ Insurance = 3.00$ ***************************** TOTAL = 103.00$ Please let me know if you have a ready made module that meets my requirements or if you're able to develop one and how much it'll cost and how long to be ready/developed? Hi all, I'm using PS 1.5.3.1 and I'm wondering: is there a way to tell the Canada Post Rates Calculator module to obey certain settings enabled at CPC SellOnline? Specifically, the "insurance activation" and "signature requirement" amount settings (they disable certain services when $XX order value is reached). My new shop isn't live yet (local host), and from what I can tell, unlike my currently live osCommerce shop, those insurance & signature settings are being ignored. Maybe they will be applied once the site is live, but I somehow doubt that going live will make any difference (although maybe someone can confirm if they work in a live shop?). I realize it's possible to set carriers by price range in Prestashop rather that weight range, however unfortunately with some of the carriers I need to use, I absolutely have to go by weight range. Sure wish you could set some services to weight range and some to price range, but you can't - you have to use one system or the other, period. :/ Thanks in advance! Elaine

hi guys... I wuold like to add more bills into the cart, for example i wuold like to add a insurance row or packaging row or other bills in order to show a transparent total price. More or less similar to the voucher field...but should be positive and not negative , and should be add in automactly when i click on the first product any ideea? any adupt ? I am using Shipping options which come with Prestashop and was wondering how to add an insurance of 0.5% of the value of the goods. Is there any way to do this in Prestashop? Or does it need a custom module?
