Hey folks ! I have some trouble with the default product list layout in prestashop 1.6. As many, I wanted it to look like the old list layout. After few researches, I found this tutorial : https://mypresta.eu/en/art/prestashop-16/grid-to-list-products-view.html I made the changes and, well, it made the trick on category pages (btw, thanks @vekia) but not on home featured module . As you can see on the screenshots below, even if it has the 'list' class, the homefeature template is still in grid when the generic product-list is in list. Does any of you have an idea ? I guess it is due to a script that is not triggered somewhere, but maybe there's a proper way to do so Thanks in advance.

Hello, i want to ask for help.. I am curently using prestashop 1.6.1.0 and everything just fine when i open my store at firefox. But my store looks messy when i open it at google chrome (short description appear bellow product name when it shouldn't, like the one in firefox) . i tried to update my chrome but it doesnt work, i cant find any same problem with solution in this forum. anyone can help me? Hi all, I'm new to Prestashop. I have the default-bootstrap theme and I have transplant the module "homefeatured" to the hook DisplayHome. My problem is that I don't see the color picker on the single product image. I would like to have it like in product page [category page] (see attached images). I've seen that the problem seems that the variable $products doesn't have the field "color_list" if loaded on homepage. Instead in category page it loads also color_list informations. Hi, is there a proper way to reduce the number of products per row on home featured module? Most sites stated the default number is four. I wish to reduce the number to three, and enlarge the thumbnail picture probably set it from home size to large size. cheers, Andy

Hello, I'm using Prestashop 1.6.0.5 and I'm having problems within the Home featured module since it shows the line "No featured products at this time". This happens when I clear the cache and now it is going on since three or four hours. Products are correctly flagged within the Home Page category. I really don't understand what's the problem here. There is no spacing between the fourth and fifth products in the home page featured products. I'm using version 1.5.4.1 I am using the default theme, modified to a grid listing of products (wide left column with skinny right column.) Also, I have increased the home_default image size to 140 from 124. I would ideally like to use 3 columns with larger images, maybe 235 pixels each, and have them line up with the right edge of the image slider (wide left column.) I know the total width of the column is 770, but I don't know how to alter the spacing in between the featured products. I altered the image width in the modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.css, so I'm thinking that is where most of the alterations will need to go. Le problème, c'est que lorsqu'un client est connecté, il fait comme si qu'il n'y avait aucun produit. Hola amigos! Soy nuevo en este foro y espero colaborar en lo que pueda con otros desarrolladores a medida que vaya aprendiendo. Tengo un problema con css3 y la propiedad z-index. Este es mi site en construcción: http://hologramia.com/tienda/index.php le apliqué un efecto css3 de acercamiento a los productos de homefeatured, pero por más que configuro la propiedad z-index no puedo hacer que sobresalgan por delante de las divs que lo rodean. Como el título de la lista de productos o la columna derecha. Tengo ya varias horas intentándolo. Sin embargo, si se fijan en la sección de productos fuera del index, cuando selecciono una categoría: http://hologramia.com/tienda/index.php?id_category=30&controller=category, el efecto funciona perfectamente. Se que hay alguna div que estoy pasando por alto pero no tengo idea de cual... Gracias por su ayuda.

Good morning, since yesterday evening I have migrated my Prestashop 1.5.6. store www.velkoobchodobleceni.cz to another host and I have also changed domain from velkoobchodobleceni.eu to ...cz (in database in the table shop_url). Everything went OK, but the module Featured products on the homepage doesn't work and appear well, as you can see. I tried to reinstall the module, but it didn't help. Does anybody have some solution or tip what to do? Thanks a lot.

I have a problem with my home featured block. when i set the module to show 4 products the white space under the products is perfect. When i set it to 6 (and thats what i want) it shows a big white space under the products. i have searched everywhere but cannot find the solution, hope someone can help me!!

Hi I would like to have multiple modules in the home page each representing different categories. Each of them can have a slider as shown in the attachment. In the attached image, you can see that there is a slider for the Home Featured (Products belonging to the Home category). Similarly needed for different categories. How can I do that? Sam

Hi guys, I set up my shop and it's all fine and dandy, but when I try to add a new product to the home featured block, this happens: http://preparati.net/en/ . When there aren't any products there, the site is just fine and it displays the no featured products message. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks in advance

This one can display one category and I cant make it so that it displays four. Could someone help me with this?

Bonjour à tous, Je sollicite la communauté de ce forum une nouvelle fois pour essayer de régler un problème que j'essaye de résoudre depuis quelque temps mais sans aucun résultat. Je suis novice sur Prestashop et je ne m'y connais pas en codage, je touche juste un petit peu le css pour adapter ma boutique selon mes souhaits. je vous explique mon problème : le module homefeatured (produit phare) a crée un grand espace blanc en dessous des produits (voir copie d'écran). Je voudrais donc modifier la hauteur de module. J'utilise Firebug et cela m'indique que la hauteur de ce module (750px) est codé en element.style. Je n'ai absolument aucune idée de où trouvé cette donnée et de comment la modifier. Pouvez vous me renseigner, soit pour savoir comment trouver cette donnée ou sinon, comment la contourner ? Je vous remercie tous d'avance ! Pour info, je suis sous Prestashop 1.5, sous le Template par défaut de Prestashop et je suis en local pour l'instant.

Bonjour, depuis la mise a jour de prestashop de 1.4.x vers 1.5.4.1 (par le module a jour 1-click), les produits phares ne s'affichent pas correctement, voir: http://www.soins-sol...ashop/index.php. Le tout s'affiche en 1 ou 2 produits par ligne au lieu de 4 comme c'était précédement. De plus l'affichage des détails d'items a un problème d'affichage avec l'image couvrant une partie du texte, comme: http://www.soins-sol...troller=product Que je le fasse avec le theme de 1.5.4.1 ou 1.5.4.0 (comme jugéré à un autre endroit). Un saludo a todas y todos. Estoy editando un PrestaShop 1.5.3.1 del que pretendo eliminar la capa "product_desc" para que no cargue en el módulo "Productos destacados"... Ya lo hice en otra ocasión y no hubo problemas, pero al eliminar del homefeatured.tpl y guardar los cambios, no se aplican. He eliminado el siguiente código: <div class="product_desc"><a href="{$product.link}" title="{l s='More' mod='homefeatured'}">{$product.description_short|strip_tags|truncate:65:'...'}</a></div> En teoría la capa "product_desc" no tendría que cargar, pero no, esta edición no tiene efecto alguno y la descripción sigue ahí. He refrescado el FTP, vaciado cachés de navegadores, etc. ¿Alguien puede orientarme? ¡Gracias!

[sOLVED] To show the "Add to cart" in the home featured module do the following; /modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.css to #featured-products_block_center li .ajax_add_to_cart_button {display:block;} #featured-products_block_center li span.exclusive {display:block;} and if the theme uses a grip view change the line in your_theme/css/product-list.css to .products_block.grid li .ajax_add_to_cart_button {display:block;} Change the "none" to "block"

Can anyone, please, help me solve this problem: When I look at the home featured products module, I see that the products which not long ago used to change randomly, do not change randomly anymore - they stay the same even when I refresh the page.
