Hello, The customers of our shops can't register themsleves. They have to send us a message, we create their profile on an ERP and it is sent to Prestashop. Thus they have to do the "forgotten password" procedure to have a password. In a few days, I am going to enter a load of customers so I would like to send them all the forgotten password e-mail. That way that they can click the regeneration link and have a password. Does someone know if there's an automatic way of doing that ? please I wouldn't like to enter every e-mail on the forgotten password page. Prestashop : 1.6.1.10

Ok so I was doing a bit of modifications on the email template (spanish) the customer receives once he requests a new pwd. So he instantly get the email to change the new password but: 1. Shouldn't he receive the system generated password on the email? 2. If he click on the link to be taken to the site (I assume to input the new pdw), he gets a 404 error. This is the English template: Hi {firstname} {lastname}, Password reset request for {shop_name} You have requested to reset your {shop_name} login details. Please note that this will change your current password. To confirm this action, please use the following link: {url} Does any one happen to maybe know what the problem is or provide me with another English template in case the above one is incorrect? Thanks a buch! When clicked the link it returns: Firefox can't find the server at %7burl%7d. UPDATE: So all I need is the correct URL format because if I click on the link I'll get a 404 error but if I copy and paste it on the browser it does indeed formats the password. Best Regards, AJ

Retrieve password: strange behavior
bertonn posted a topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Hi there. I use Prestashop 1.5.5 Problem: when a user tries to retrieve his/her forgotten password, he/she receives an e-mail with a link like this: http://NNN.com/it/password-recovery?token=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&id_customer=KKKKK N... = site X... = token K... = customer id But, if the user follows the link he/her always gets this: There is 1 error Appears that you're already logged in BUT THE USER IS NOT LOGGED IN! Now is logged in (I don't know why), and he/she could change the password but he/she cannot because there is a mandatory field Current password. But if the user wants to retrieve this password he/she doesn't remember the current one...! Is it a bug? Is there any way to fix this behavior? Thanks-

Hello everyone, I need some help from you. At this moment I try to make some changes in the e-mail to the customers. Because it is my first meeting with Presta and I`m not php or html designer I have primal question Which file is responsible for sending to the customer new forgotten password? (First e-mail with confirmation link I found in themes/mail/mylanguage/password_query.html *mylanguage - I work with polish version, but I dot think its important. After clicking confirmation link customer receive next e-mail with nwe password I checked dozens of files, but I really cant find which is it.
