Hi, Imagine you want to use your prestashop system to generate invoices of other products or services you want to offer. Products that doesn’t exist in the catalogue. I was wondering if it is possible to create an order in the backoffice with a custom description, price and tax rate. In that case you can use the system to generate invoices to simplify the accountancy without the need to manually create the product which can be a service as well.

Hi, I'm currently working on the website: www.milman.co.il they are a manufacturer of custom made medals and sport trophies. I need to provide them an easy way to show their price list according to the quantity while every item have a different way for calculating it's cost. For example, medals are calculated by this method: price of medal, price of ribbon, custom made ribbon, extra text in the back etc. and group category also has different price according to the quantity. Currently we are using Viewing product combinations in a table module but it creates very long tables since we have many options and combinations for big groups of products on store .... What type module for this type of business? Thanks, Gilad

Mi serve che per un prodotto si possa fare un configurazione ad hoc, su vari steps condizionati, magari sfruttando set di attributi, in modo da far creare un prodotto personalizzato. Hello everyone, I have made a module to create a customized product. By pressing the "add to cart" button a specific price is inserted into the "specific_price" table of the database. This price is also connected with the current cart-id which I get with this code: {$context = Context::getContext()} {if is_null($context->cart->id)} {$context->cart->add()} {/if} {$ggg = $context->cart->id} (The code is written in the tpl-file of the module) My problem is, that the first time you visit my page and customize your product and add it to the cart, you will get the product with the standard price. After reloading the page or adding a new customized product everything works fine. I think that there is just a little error in my code or something isn't updating correctly. Thanks for your help!!

Hi, I'm looking for a module that allows my client to choose the parts of a custom PC step by step. For example: 1. Choose Processor - List of available parts 2. Motherboard - Displays a list of compatible motherboards depending on the processor. 3. RAM Memory - Shows list of RAMs ... Etc. I have a site that as a product, people can have me create a custom product using an image that they upload for me to use in the creation of it. I can't seem to find any module that would allow for this to happen. I have seen module for bulk uploading of images for image galleries or for product images but nothing that would prompt the customer to upload their image and make sure it is large enough but not tho big. Anyone know of anything or who could program it? It would pretty much look just like this forum with the text field for special instructions and a "Choose" file for uploading.

I sell a custom product (specifically a toilet) that comes in two models, two heights, four finishes, four foot prints two different color seats and two plumbing systems. I would like my customers to be able to pick the features they want and calculate the cost of the final product. For example, I want somebody to be able to order a box model, cut away base, white housing, white lid unit with an EUD installed and have the store add up the costs and post the total. Is that something that Prestashop can do? Can anybody help me?

Hello, I want to add a feature in the website, that user make custom product like custom chair or design from website using flash tools and then add to cart that product and purchase. admin can view that order from backend and also check the order process. view the image of the custom made product from order details as well as view the custom text in the order details. Is that possible through prestashop, please suggest.

I have a client for whom I am building a Prestashop powered ecommerce site. They require a visual product bulder for integration into the site and I am looking to outsource this to a freelancer. The item is a customisable box. There will be two categories which will each hold a numer of designs. Each of these designs (eg flower) will be available in two or three colours. On choosing the design (which has a fixed position on the product), the user can then enter a name (up to 8 letters). There is only one font available and in one size. The text position is again fixed. The text can be in one of three specific colours or a combination of those colours (for example alternating colours). The product builder must be intergated into Prestashop so that after customising the product, the correct details are sent to the cart so that the order can be processed. The builder must also be easy to up date with new designs or combinations - even better if this part can be fully integrated with the Prestashop product set up, i.e. pullling possible combinations from the Prestashop database as set up in the Back Office. However, although this level of integration would be nice, it is not a required feature. Since the only one font is available, and in one size, I would even be happy having to upload images of each letter rather than having actual text if that makes any difference at all! It would be preferrable if this product builder could be in jquery or some other 'non flash' programming, although flash is not to be ruled out completely if a feasible solution is offered. Obviously I am more than happy to pay the rigth price if a suitable solution can be offered. I look forward to hearing from someone.
