I’m very new to prestashop. I’m using 1.6.x version with default bootstrap. I have a problem with my home featured position. Previously, I had success to moved cms info block only to another position so that its position on a line vertically with the footer (but it is not going into as displayfooter position). My problem is appears after change cms info block position. That is my home featured position is follow up on a line vertically with the footer which it’s should be in the center column. And I think it’s not a css issue but it’s relating to home feature’s center column which has changed. I have no idea to solve the problem. So is there any solution for my home featured position move to its center column again? I’m appreciates in advance. My layout is described with attachment. I’m sorry about my English. Hey PrestaShopers! I have seen threads on increasing the width of the center column, but by removing the left or right column. My center column is too narrow. Hi all I want the center column to be 100% wide on product pages (product.php) only. Is there any way of doing this? A regular styling of .css will naturally change the center column for every page. I thank everyone who replies Hope it's doable!

I need help adding a box-shadow to my entire column. Can anyone tell me what file to edit that I can put the 'box-shadow' for the entire center column of my site? I'm using PS 1.5.4.1. Thank you!! -

Hello everyone! really i need help about this, because i installed another theme 14.0 as egineer prestashop 14.0.1. As homepage this works but another page or link doesn´t display footer nor center column or right column, so what is the problem? i can´t settle them, i am trying to figure out which is the problem, it means isn´t full the template? I am glad for any help me Citlalli

Suppose I want to show new product from right to center column then... I will go to its module folder and then will open its php file i.e. blocknewproducts.php here i can see public function hookRightColumn($params){ // functions code do not change this code } no need to change any code i will just copy and paste above code just below it. public function hookRightColumn($params){ // functions code do not change this code } Now i will change the name of pasted function as hookDisplayHome($params) So now the code will be public function hookDisplayHome($params){ // functions code do not change this code } File changes are completed. Now I will make some changes in position setting from admin panel to see the effect. Now I will go to admin panel and position and new product then transplant a module then i will select displayHome save. Now the right column content will be visible in center column. -

Hi, I would like to have a grid of categories on the home page in the centre column and also displayed in the centre column whenever the categories are selected from the left sidebar, like this example: http://www.greenpeawholefoods.co.uk/ and also have the subcategories displaying the same way as the example. Whats the best way of doing this?

Hello! I want to change a 3 columns theme into a 2 columns, but I want the center column to be 960 px width and 400 px height. I have removed the right column, but it doesn't give me the opportunity to adjust the center column. Can anyone help me? Thank you! P.S. I am using prestashop 1.5

Buenas, Tengo un archivo html (galeria de imagenes con slider, dinámico) que me han dado para insertar. Desde una pestaña que he creado lo llamo y aparece correctamente, pero a pantalla completa. Ahora, ¿¿ Como puedo hacer que se inserte en el displayHome (center column) ?? y así mostrar el resto de la tienda también. En la imagen que adjunto marco en azul donde debería ir Gracias!

Hola a todos y gracias desde ya por la ayuda. Llevo poco tiempo con Prestashop. Tengo instalada la versión 1.5.2.0. Esta es mi web: http://elcajondelosregalos.com Tengo dos problemillas que llevo una semana leyendo por todas partes y no logro solucionarlas. La primera es que no logro que la center column llegue completamente al donde debería llegar, al borde derecho para que quede todo alineado, ver la captura por favor... Y la segunda duda sería como puedo cambiar el footer para que me quedara algo similar a esto...(ver segunda captura). Muuuchas gracias chic@s!! -

Okay I'm probably v. dense for not getting this but Which file should I edit to add some text/images to the center column of my homepage? What I need is to display 5 or 6 top brands in the center column, including their logo. I've looked for some modules but they aren't exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance. Lorsque l'on souhaite supprimer la colonne de droite et de gauche dans l'index mais garder une colonne a droite dans les autres pages. Comment modifier les dimensions de la colonne centrale dans prestashop 1.5 sachant que dans ce cas il y a une différence de dimension entre l'index et les autres pages. Si on modifie grid_5 a 980 px cela s'applique sur toutes les pages. il faut une colonne centrale par exemple de 980 px dans l'index et 757 dans les autres pages. Merci -

Hi, I'm using version 1.4.2.5, not standard theme, still in localhost. The problem is in the supplier list page and manufacturers list page, the right column moved to center column (below the supplier/manufacturer list page) and header background image appears not only in header but also below the footer. This only happens in those two page, I just found this after weeks of modification and I don't know what modifications I have made that caused this problem. Anyone please help what files to check and edit. Sorry for my English.
