Hello! I am using Prestashop version 1.6.1.5. I have a small problem down to my lack of experience... A person has ordered a product, but before I could forward that product to the supplier to be shipped we had to announce that we are out of stock. I do not really know how to refund this person's money before the product has even been sent off... Muchly appreciate your help... if I have gone about this post in the wrong way then please forgive, this is my first post! Thanks!!

Hi Prestasheeps ! If an order is cancelled for whatever reason, how can we update the invoice if one was generated earlier ? Is there an easy way to add mention of the CANCELLED or REIMBURSED status ? Currently, a customer can still access the invoice as if the order was paid and delivered when the order has been cancelled and reimbursed. Thanks for any hints...

NOTE: Most of my rant here may be fixed by turning on Enable returns under Orders / Merchandise Returns I'll still testing, but very odd to have to turn that on to effect standard order canceling functionality expectations. ----- So I tried searching and saw mostly replies of going through all these steps just to make an order truly canceled. When an order is canceled I think the VAST majority of users expect the order contents to automatically go back to the inventory pool and the payment expectation to be cleared from the customer's outstanding balance. Instead it appears canceled is purely a label that does none of this and assuming there is no good reason, this needs to be fixed. To cancel an order properly shouldn't take a long pile of steps like it appears to now. Someone please set me straight if I'm missing something... Additionally while trying to figure this out I noticed an email is sent to the customer every time an order change is made, so say if I have to delete 5 items from a 10 item order, the customer gets 5 emails! (every time the delete product trash can icon is pressed)

When an item is ordered from my store, Stock Movement is automatically decremented by the number of items ordered, and the Reason is set to 'Order'. eg Product Name:No Moo Piquant Quantity: -1 Reason: Order ID Order:1542 If I cancel the order, the Stock Movement does not increase to take account of the cancelled order. What I would like to see is for the Stock Movement to be automatically incremented: eg Product Name:No Moo Piquant Quantity: +1 Reason: Cancelled Order ID Order:1542 Does anyone know if there is there something I need to set in the Back Office for this to happen for cancelled orders?
