Dear all, Anyone use A2hosting before which is recommended by Prestashop on Jan 2013? I'm planing to change hosting from Hostmonster. Bluehost is same company with hostmonster and both are not so good for prestashop as discuss by some of the prestashop member. Anyone use it before? How is it? What are the pro and cons? I'm planning to subscribe prime + SSD plan transfer from my current provider which is hostmonster.

Bonjour tout le monde, Je sais que la lenteur de prestashop à été abordé mainte et mainte fois mais j'ai essayé de suivre les différents post sans succès. Une page de mon site: http://kosha.ch/shop/en/heritage-bookmark/28-pure-stainless-steel.html (par exemple) Il faut entre 7 et 10 secondes avant que la page finisse de charger.... Je ne comprends pas pourquoi par j'ai activé le cache, je suis chez A2hosting qui est réputé pour les performances avec prestashop. De plus j'ai que 10 articles dans ma boutique. J'ai aussi désinstallé les modules que je n'utilise pas. Avez-vous une idée pour que les pages chargent en dessous des 3s (se qui est primordiale pour moi) merci

a2hosting is a recommended partner of Prestashop which was the reason why we chose them for a new Prestashop install. With a customer base in Europe, we decided to go with the shared SSD server in Iceland. Unfortunately, since we started out two weeks ago, there were already two outages, the most recent one today lasting 8 hours and STILL counting. What e-commerce shop can afford to be offline for straight 8+ hours? Apparently, they had an "unrecoverable failure" and now have to reload from their "most recent backup" (whatever that means - https://my.a2hosting.com/serverstatus.php). While they advertise RAID 10 on their shared SSD servers, their response as well as the time it takes them to restore service gives me the impression that they do not use RAID 10 even though they prominently advertise it on their website. Based on our today's experience with a massive outage of 8+ hours without an end in sight, I strongly recommend to look at other options first.

Hi, I have installed Prestashop 1.5.4 on my local hosting and will now start to use A2 Hosting. I would prefer to move the old version to A2 Hosting since I already started to build my webshop. I could move it via FTP so that it shows up in the File Manager but it has not been installed. How do I install it? Best, Johan
