Search the Community

It is EXTREMELY rare for me to post a question in a forum. I've worked with computers for years, but this has me stumped. I have Prestashop version 1.5.6.2. I have changed a lot of things, edited others, everything makes sense, is logical and works. HOWEVER, I am simply unable to find out how to remove my email address from the "Contact Us" section on the bottom of the page. Personally, I don't want 10 million emails from random bots, so I prefer to not have it listed here (who the heck would?!!) I believe the solution should be in the following module: public_html/modules/blockcontactinfos/blockcontactinfos.tpl But any changes I've made are not working. (Keep in mind, I have changed several other tpl files on here to modify things, so I don't claim to be an expert, but I am truely lost here.) I imagine it will be a "duh" solution, but I'm prepared for that. haha. By the way, of course I have googled this question in about 20 different ways, searched this forum and a couple others and haven't found a solution...that fits 1.5 anyway. After a couple hours of trying things and searching, I gave up and posted here. Thank you in advance for attempting to help me.

Hi guys, My shop is running smoothly, but when ever I use the search bar, it takes a very long time to return any results. I have tried to optimise the search function by Prefs > Search; Turning ajax and instant search off. I only want users to search for the name and tags so I have set weights to; name - 10 reference - 1 short desc - 0 description - 0 category - 0 manufacturer - 0 tags - 10 attributes - 0 features - 0 And rebuilt the search index, but the results still take a long time to display. Nothing I do seems to have any positive impact on the search load times. Does anyone else have any similar problem they were able to resolve? Regards, Neller.

Specifically about this template discussed at http://addons.prestashop.com/en/mobile/6165-prestashop-mobile-template-14.html. I would like to tweak it to for instance have the Manufacturers drop down list appear on the mobile home page of my shop site. From where can such changes be made? The above URL refers to "Preferences tab> Templates" but nothing of the sort exists. I find Preferences > Themes, Preferences > CMS but neither of these allow tweaking of the template. Thank you

When we upgraded to Version 1.5.4 the Prestalove's AddThis social media buttons, the shopping cart elements and the entire right side got pushed over to the left or got cut off. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? We replaced the Jquery Pisces slider with the Minic Slider because the Pisces slider was cutting off on the right. I am using 1.5.17, and having great difficulty in importing the combinations of products. What happens is that the import is done without errors, but the products do not appear in the store immediately. Tab in BO combinations, combinations appear correctly. To make the product appear in the store I have to access the product, and combinations click on the tab "Product combinations generator" and change only the amount and generate combinations and functions normally. I have 300 products and it is not feasible to do this in all of them wanted to do direct importing. Another doubt is how to define the impact on the price for the "reduced" price. Bonjour à tous, Je mets en garde la communauté de ce que l'on nous vends des modules sur Prestashop addons (et develloppé par Prsestashop him self !) qui ne sont pas COMPATBLE avec la version 1.5. Exemple : 88328 : Pack Pro - Multiblocs, Box Notification (Popup) & Slider catégorie.Il vaut quand même 100 euros ! Ne vous laissez pas abuser par la publicité qui vous promet une compatibilité 1.5 C'est totalement faux ...pour le moment. salut à tous et faites attention à votre porte monnaie.

Hallo Forumsmitglieder, bin auf der Suche nach einem Getränke Template für Prestashop. Habe eins zwar gefunden, naja ist nicht so der Hit aber finde kein besseres. Vielleicht weiss von Euch jemand wo man gut herbekommt. Pfandberechnung ist kein Thema, muss nur ein Getränketemplate sein. Also meine eigentliche Frage bezeiht sich auf die Kompatibilität der momentan angebotenen Templates generell. Wenn ich ein Template jetzt kaufe, das in der Version 1.0 entwickelt wurde, kompatible zu v1.4 ist, wie schaut das dann aus, wenn ich meinen Store auf 1.5 installiere/update ? Ist das Template dann noch kompatible oder muss ich dann wieder ein neues kaufen?
