Good afternoon, I apologize for all the inconvenience, I would like to ask about an error that I am getting. AIt's my first time installing PrestaShop and I'm using Ubuntu for that, along with apache and MySQL. AAmong several installation guides including in several versions of PrestaShop and in all of them I have the same problem. "You must install PHP zip extension first" I have the extension installed, I made changes to my server in the PHP versions, restarted the installation from 0 to everything, but still, I can't give the solution. I don't know if this happened to someone. I'm really sure I'm doing something wrong, because I don't have much experience on the subject, thanks again.

Hi, I know this problem has been solved for so many. but in my case its not. i have tried everything until now.. nothing worked for me.. when i go to this address http://ec2-52-74-146-216.ap-southeast-1.compute.amazonaws.com it displays a default apache2 server page saying your server works but u need to replace the file located in /var/www/html to access your website.. i tried all the solution which were listed solved on the net but. none of those worked for me.. if anyone has solved this problem easily or know a better way around for this.. please shed some light into this.. for more info i have installed prestashop from aws market place -
Bonjour a tous ! Voila j'ai décidé de passer a Ubuntu 18.04. J'essaye d'installer prestashop 1.7 cependant je rencontre des problèmes lors de l'installation... J'ai réussi a installer LAMP (enfin je pense vu que j'arrive sur la page d'installation) . Mais a la dernière étape, prestashop plante... Je vous met une image pour que vous puissiez m'aider. I'm getting this error nonstop during installation and from what I can tell I have everything set up to the requirements of prestashop. To avoid internationalization data inconsistencies upgrade the symfony/intl component. Nginx 1.16.0 Php 7.2 Icu : 64.1 Ubuntu 19.04 I've seen this problem several places with no defined resolution. Does anyone know the true issue here and how to fix it?

En effet, l’ancienne stagiaire a fait le site prestashop en question sous Ubuntu et m’a envoyé les dossiers (une partie phpmyadmin et une autre partie html). Et je constate que la BDD qu’elle m’a envoyé se compose sous quatres fichiers et de nombreux fichiers .php en outre dont je ne sais pas à quoi ils servent. Je reconnais le dossier du site prestashop (html) mais je ne comprends pas comment utiliser celle de la bdd. - Create_tables.sql - Create_tables_drizzle.sql - upgrade_column_info_4_3_0+.sql - upgrade_tables_mysql_4_1_2+.sql Or, sur mon site prestashop test où j’utilise Apache (Wamp) lorsque j’exporte une BDD test, je n’ai qu’un seul fichier .sql et donc je voudrais savoir s’il y avait une autre étape que je devais faire pour obtenir le site qu’elle a fait en local car j’ai beau importer tous ses fichiers, j’obtiens une erreur et rien n’apparait (erreur 500). Et je ne sais pas du tout comment obtenir un seul fichier bdd .sql avec Ubuntu que je n'ai jamais utilisé. Merci d’avance, -
Hello im new to prestashop so dont bash. I'm trying a local install of 1.7 for a client to set up a demo and i currently don't have access to a remote server. So i'm hosting a lamp server on a VM of ubuntu 16.04. Everything goes smooth and the back/front office works from the computer hosting the VM as well as any other local devices. However its not accessible from external devices. But here's the kicker everything's configured (ports opened etc) for external access and i can test with sample php & html pages however prestashop is the only thing that's not working. When hitting the link it gives a time out error and fails with every try. Does anybody have any ideas for this issue. Thanks -
Hello, I have installed prestashop in my test ubuntu server but i can't access my front_office browser says ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS what problems i have ? i could not found any helpful solution. i have configured php.ini as is said in prestashop doc. if you know solution please help thank you very much. -

Welcome to the PrestaShop Forum, In this tutorial, we will be taking a fresh installed Ubuntu VPS or dedicated server and transform it to a webserver that will be ready to host Prestashop. The benefit of running a manually installed and configured LEMP stack is the avoidance of control panels such as cPanels and such. In addition, the RAM memory of your server would be less consumed. At the end, you are saving money and resources. Please note that at the time of this article, the versions of software were the following: Ubuntu 14.04 Prestashop 1.6.0.14 This does not mean that this lesson will not work with other versions, but keep in mind compatibility issues. Prerequisite: Please have the most common Ubuntu repositories added to your repositories list. Step 1: Login into your freshly installed Ubuntu as root or as the user you created during installation. Step 2: Follow the following instructions carefully. Please be advised that the instructions are chronological in order. The parts in red are what needs to be changed by you. Step 3: Attached, are the host file. Copy the lines inside of them and paste into the host file you created above in "# General & Security Configurations". The following configuration supports http only. If you want to enable https, uncomment the ssl lines and tweak them up properly. For non-www to www redirection: Look for attachments. Bonjour, Je suis sous Ubuntu et j'ai installé Prestashop en localhost sans aucun problèmes. Ce jour là, j'ai pu accédé au back-office. Mais depuis le redémarrage de ma machine, je n'arrive plus à accéder au back-office : on me demande une adresse mail (laquelle correspond à celle enregistrée) et un mot de passe. Et j'obtient l'erreur suivante : "Il y a 1 erreur compte employé inexistant, ou mauvais mot de passe" Etant en local, je ne peux pas me servir du mail pour reçevoir un nouveau mot de passe. J'ai pourtant accès à la phpMyAdmin et ai ajouté des utilisateurs, sans pouvoir me connecter avec ces comptes. Est-ce que quelqu'un aurait résolu ce problème ? Est-ce qu'il est possible de récupérer le mot de passe via linux ? Merci -

Bonjour, Je travaille actuellement sur le système d'eploitation linux ubuntu 13.10. Ma version firefox est 28.0 Ma version googlechrome est 34.0.1847.116 Depuis ma mise à jour pour ces versions, ma boutique n'a plus le même rendu graphique notamment au niveau de la police de caractère. A l'origine j'avais ce résultat avec la version 27.01 de firefox et aujourd'hui, j'ai ce résultat avec la version 28.0 de firefox De plus, avec la version de googlechrome 34.0.1847.116 sur un PC différent et avec une version de ubuntu linux plus ancienne , j'ai un rendu normal comme sur la version 27.01 de firefox Alors que sur mon PC ubuntu 13.10 avec la même version de googlechrome 34.0.1847.116, je n'ai pas le même rendu notamment au niveau de la police de caractère "Impact". J'avoue ne pas comprendre le problème. Comment retrouver le graphisme original dans le champ recherche et surtout comment retrouver la police de caractère (Impact) sur la version de firefox 28.0 ? Et pourquoi, la police n'est pas la même entre mon système ubuntu 13.10 et un autre ubuntu 12.04 LTS alors que la version de googlechrome est la même !!!!! Merci d'avance pour votre aide Nicolas -
Hola, de antemano gracias por responder, ya he buscado mucha información en Google y en el foro pero no encuentro nada relacionado a mi problema, estoy trabajando en Ubuntu, tengo instalado Apache2 y PhpMyAdmin por repositorio, ya habia realizado sitios web en php creandolos en var/www pero ahora con prestashop tengo este problema... al copiar la carpeta "prestashop" a var/www e intentar ingresar http://localhost/prestashop me da un error Forbidden / You don't have permission to access / on this server.Segun las guias de instalacion que he leido me debería aparecer la pagina de instalacion de prestashop, intente ingresar directamente a http://localhost/prestashop/install pero me da el mismo error pienso que si doy los permisos completos a la carpeta entonces si tendre acceso pero ¿debo darle permiso a toda la carpeta prestashop? segun los manuales de instalacion solo debo darle permisos a ciertas carpetas y archivos pero no a todo... ¿por que será que aparece este error? gracias! -

Hepinize kolaygelsin. Arkadaşlar öncelikle bu işte yeni olduğumu kavramları bile tam olarak anlayamadığımı belirtmek isterim. Bende Ubuntu yüklü ve buna uyumlu apache mysql php ve phpmyadmin yüklü. Bunları yükledim. Hİç bir sıkıntı yok. phpmyadmine giriyorum hatta orada prestadeneme diye veritabanı bile oluşturdum. Prestashopun zip dosyasını indirip Belgeler'e çıkarttım. Bunu phpmyadmine nasıl atabilirim? Ftp işlemcisi diyolar ne olduğunu bile bilmiyorum. Vsftp yükledim ama nasıl atılır bilmiyorum. Başka yolu yokmudur? Yardımcı olsanızda bende başlasam şu işe çok heveslendim hep takılıyorum.. Şimdiden teşekkürler. Saygılar

I find that when I view my website on Ubuntu Linux the cost of items is 10% less. While I love Linux, I do not intend to give each and every Linux user such a discount Prestashop displays $18.18 for an item on Ubuntu Linux while it should be $20 (displayed on Windows) Both Ubuntu and Windows7 invoice Goods and Services Tax (VAT in other countries) but the final price for Ubuntu users is the same as the Tax Free price for Windows7 Users I am certain this is a bug inside Prestashop, as no matter how I view this, I cant imagine it would be a CMS or Catalog issue. Please, everyone, find a way to pursuade Prestashop to amend this bug and check your own sites on someones Ubuntu / Firefox software.

Hi Presta community, I'm installing a fresh presta 1.5.0.13 on an ec2 server (Ubuntu 12.04 64 bits). I followed this tuto to install xcache: http://www.howtoforge.com/xcache-php5-apache2-debian-etch Not following the first 2 steps as I'm a ubuntu user and therefore don't need the etch / lenny modification. When x-cache is installed, I get error "the connection was reset" for any page / site hosted on my server (understand the issue is not toght to prestashop) if I amend: [xcache-common] ;; install as zend extension (recommended), normally "$extension_dir/xcache.so" zend_extension = /usr/lib/php5/20090626/xcache.so to [xcache-common] ;; install as zend extension (recommended), normally "$extension_dir/xcache.so" ;zend_extension = /usr/lib/php5/20090626/xcache.so in file: /etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/xcache.ini then everything runs smoothly..... ...but without xcache Any idea how I should proceed to get scache to run on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bits? Hi, I got a presta 1.5.0.13 currently installing on an Amazon EC2 server. My next problem is: Impossible to send an email during the installation process.
