I have upgraded PS from 1.7.5.2 to 1.7.7.0 but after that the URL rewrite for products is not working anymore. For every other URL it is working as it should. My URL route to products is ''{category:/}{rewrite}{-:ean13}-{id}{-:id_product_attribute}.html'' But when I click on a product I am redirected to "/index.php?controller=404" I can confirm mod_rewrite is available because it works on 1.7.5.2 and the other URLS are working. After some testing by removing "{-:ean13}'' it works again. But this is not what I want because these URLs are not indexed by Google. So: ''{category:/}{rewrite}-{id}{-:id_product_attribute}.html'' does work. Can't find out what is wrong. Any help is appreciated.

I am using prestashop 1.7.5.0. I have 3 languages installed (english, slovenian, croatian). When editing SEO&URL I get error: The url_rewrite field is invalid. How to edit? Please help. Enabling Accented URL does not solve problem.

Hello, Just like in a title, is there any way to display contents generated in a module's controller file like they are with ?content_only=1 parameter, but without using that parameter? For example, I have an iframe displaying survey, and I want to have a webpage: mydomain.com/survey but want it to look like it was accessed after typing: mydomain.com/survey?content_only=1 Is there any other way to achieve content only page version than by URL? Kind regards

Hallo! In our shop https://my-lab.com/analytics/ I'd like to activate friendly urls. Now the problem is, as soon as I activate it, the order and authentication controller don't show up anymore. So, since I think it is too much afford to fix that bug (we have a multilangual multishop with a custom order module etc...) I want to remain the normal php-urls in all the urls with the order and authentification controller, like: index.php?controller=authentication BUT I want the friendly urls on the category- and product pages, and ONLY there, not anywhere else. So I want to rewrite urls like: https://my-lab.com/analytics/index.php?id_product=543&controller=product&id_lang=2 and https://my-lab.com/analytics/index.php?id_category=90&controller=category&id_lang=2 I ONLY want to rewrite the url of every page that uses the product / category controller. Does anybody know how I have to set up the .htaccess mod_rewrite rule to accomplish that? Thank you very much in advance!

Hi, When i change the default category of a product to a main new category, the product page goes to a 404 page. Example: http://divinechurchsuits.com/designer-church-suits/terramina-church-suit-7391.html changes to http://divinechurchsuits.com/designer-church-suits/terramina/terramina-church-suit-7391.html?product_rewrite=terramina-church-suit-7391 but open 404 Page. I'm not sure but i think it has something to do with .htaccess Does anyone how to fix that?

Not Found The requested document was not found on this server. Mon fichier htacess est le suivant : # ~~start~~ Do not remove this comment, Prestashop will keep automatically the code outside this comment when .htaccess will be generated again # .htaccess automaticaly generated by PrestaShop e-commerce open-source solution # http://www.prestashop.com - http://www.prestashop.com/forums <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> <IfModule mod_env.c> SetEnv HTTP_MOD_REWRITE On </IfModule> RewriteEngine on RewriteRule . - [E=REWRITEBASE:/] RewriteRule ^api/?(.*)$ %{ENV:REWRITEBASE}webservice/dispatcher.php?url=$1 [QSA,L] # AlphaImageLoader for IE and fancybox RewriteRule ^images_ie/?([^/]+)\.(jpe?g|png|gif)$ js/jquery/plugins/fancybox/images/$1.$2 [L] </IfModule> AddType application/vnd.ms-fontobject .eot AddType font/ttf .ttf AddType font/otf .otf AddType application/x-font-woff .woff #If rewrite mod isn't enabled ErrorDocument 404 /index.php?controller=404 # ~~end~~ Do not remove this comment, Prestashop will keep automatically the code outside this comment when .htaccess will be generated again ----- Mon hébergeur est online.net et je suis sur un serveur dédié. Avez-vous une idée de solution ? Merci d'avance !

Hello to all! I can say I'm new in prestashop and also not sure if i open the topic in the right place as well. If not sorry! I have an url-rewrite issue: I test a 1.5 theme on ps 1.6. So far everything seems to work fine except the url-rewrite feature. If i disable the url-rewrite everything still works fine but when i enable it products, categories.. links still work but not the meta-links like: contact-us, sitemap etc.. When i change _PS_MODE_DEV_ to 'true' in defines.inc and get the error message on browser i see the following on browser: "Notice: Undefined index: controller in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/classes/Dispatcher.php on line 756" The mentioned part in dispather.php is as follows: (line 756 in red) // Use routes ? (for url rewriting) if ($this->use_routes && !$controller && !defined('_PS_ADMIN_DIR_')) { if (!$this->request_uri) return strtolower($this->controller_not_found); $controller = $this->controller_not_found; // If the request_uri matches a static file, then there is no need to check the routes, we keep "controller_not_found" (a static file should not go through the dispatcher) if (!preg_match('/\.(gif|jpe?g|png|css|js|ico)$/i', parse_url($this->request_uri, PHP_URL_PATH))) { // Add empty route as last route to prevent this greedy regexp to match request uri before right time if ($this->empty_route) $this->addRoute($this->empty_route['routeID'], $this->empty_route['rule'], $this->empty_route['controller'], Context::getContext()->language->id, array(), array(), $id_shop); if (isset($this->routes[$id_shop][Context::getContext()->language->id])) foreach ($this->routes[$id_shop][Context::getContext()->language->id] as $route) if (preg_match($route['regexp'], $this->request_uri, $m)) { // Route found ! Now fill $_GET with parameters of uri foreach ($m as $k => $v) if (!is_numeric($k)) $_GET[$k] = $v; $controller = $route['controller'] ? $route['controller'] : $_GET['controller']; if (!empty($route['params'])) foreach ($route['params'] as $k => $v) $_GET[$k] = $v; // A patch for module friendly urls if (preg_match('#module-([a-z0-9_-]+)-([a-z0-9]+)$#i', $controller, $m)) { $_GET['module'] = $m[1]; $_GET['fc'] = 'module'; $controller = $m[2]; } if (isset($_GET['fc']) && $_GET['fc'] == 'module') $this->front_controller = self::FC_MODULE; break; } } if ($controller == 'index' || $this->request_uri == '/index.php') $controller = $this->useDefaultController(); } $this->controller = str_replace('-', '', $controller); $_GET['controller'] = $this->controller; return $this->controller; } I guess that it's about controllers differences between 1.5 and 1.6 maybe!? but have no idea how to fix it... I need help to correct this dispatcher / controller issue. Due to this problem i also can't use the gsitemap module because it creates the products urls with url-rewrite (and still not correctly but i guess this is another topic itself, anyway..) and the rest (meta links) without rewrite . After reading a lot about the gsitemap module i decided to handle that problem seperately Any idea/help is appreciated! p.s. sorry for my english level

I'm setting up my first prestashop site and would like to enable URL friendly URLS but I am on a windows 2008 server. So far, on the server I created a web config, and tried to convert .htaccess files that I've seen posted on other listings... I havent studied up on regex before, so I was wondering if anyone could share some rules so that the rest of my site works... having trouble with pages like: /prices-drop /order /order?step=1 /best-sales So basically I have products pages working, category pages, images. The below is all working, and I am happy to share: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configuration> <system.webServer> <rewrite> <outboundRules> <preConditions> <preCondition name="ResponseIsHtml1"> <add input="{RESPONSE_CONTENT_TYPE}" pattern="^text/html" /> </preCondition> </preConditions> </outboundRules> <rules> <clear /> <rule name="product"> <match url="([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" /> <action type="Rewrite" url="product.php?id_product={R:2}" /> </rule> <rule name="product home"> <match url="([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" /> <action type="Rewrite" url="product.php?id_product={R:1}{R:3}" /> </rule> <rule name="images"> <match url="([a-z0-9]+)-([a-z0-9]+)(-[_a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([_a-zA-Z0-9-]*).jpg" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" /> <action type="Rewrite" url="/img/p/{R:1}-{R:2}{R:3}.jpg" appendQueryString="false" /> </rule> <rule name="image1"> <match url="([0-9]+)-([0-9]+)/([_a-zA-Z0-9-]*).jpg" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" /> <action type="Rewrite" url="/img/p/{R:1}-{R:2}.jpg" /> </rule> <rule name="Category" enabled="true"> <match url="^([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false"> </conditions> <action type="Rewrite" url="category.php?id_category={R:1}" /> </rule> </rules> </rewrite> </system.webServer> </configuration> thanks steve

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new with Prestashop. I just downloaded 1.5.4.1 and I'm on a Windows 2008 R2 server, running IIS7 and I already have the URL Rewrite module added. I've been searching for days and days now to solve this and I've got about half of it done. At first I was having an issue with images not showing on the product page, but I fixed that. Now, all of the 'pages' won't work. The URLs that go to website.com/<something>, index.php?controller=<something> when it's not a friendly URL, don't work - like /contact, /my-account, /authenticate, /sitemap, etc. This is my web.config file, the rewrite section, now. It doesn't seem like the first rule ever works? When I test the rule in IIS, though, it works as expected. The product and image rules work, so I can't figure out why the 'pages' won't work. <rewrite> <rules> <clear /> <rule name="Imported Rule 1" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="^.+/([a-zA-Z]+(?:[-][a-zA-Z]+)?)$" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false"> </conditions> <action type="Rewrite" url="index.php?controller={R:1}" /> </rule> <rule name="Imported Rule 1-1-1" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="^([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$" ignoreCase="true" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false"> <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsFile" negate="true" /> </conditions> <action type="Rewrite" url="index.php?controller=product?id_product={R:2}" appendQueryString="true" /> </rule> <rule name="Imported Rule 4-1" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="content/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)(.*)$" ignoreCase="true" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" /> <action type="Rewrite" url="index.php?controller=cms&id_cms={R:1}" appendQueryString="true" /> </rule> <rule name="Imported Rule 1-4" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="([0-9])([0-9])\-([a-zA-Z]*_*[a-zA-Z]*)/([a-zA-Z]*-[a-zA-Z]*)\.jpg$" ignoreCase="true" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" /> <action type="Redirect" url="img/p/{R:1}/{R:2}/{R:1}{R:2}-{R:3}.jpg" logRewrittenUrl="false" /> </rule> </rules> </rewrite>

Merci d'avance,

Hi guys, today I started to have this issue - after product import I get those "Rewrite link for (ID 3) was re-written as ...." warnings. Problem is - that should be just warnings, right? I see those products on the website, but there are absolutely none in the back office. Any quick solution would be very appreciated!

Anthony

Hello, I want to migrate from woocommerce on wordpress to prestashop and I have to keep the same urls as much as I can. I did not know how to remove ".html" i also could not remove "info/" in the path of cms pages in SEO/URL menu. PS: I installed cleanurls and it removed ids from product pages which is good.

Hi, I'm running Prestashop 1.5.3.1. My product URL look like that: www.shop.com/category-name/id-product.html Route to products: /category/{id}-{rewrite}.html I've imported all table manually to a new 1.5.6.1 installation. Now my URLs looking like: www.shop.com/id-product.html Route to products: {id}-{rewrite}.html I can't change route to products to: /category/{id}-{rewrite}.html If I do that, prestashop doesn't put the category-name there. My question now, google have indexed the old links, what could i do to avoid url problems??

Hello I am dealing with three boutiques where combinations and url rewriting are giving me headaches. In the SEO and URL section I am using {category}/{-:ean13}{rewrite}/ to rewrite my product URL however now when I modifiy a product and when I hit the preview button, the given URL is wrong and includes the .html ? The right url preview format should be : www.sitename.com/category/product-name instead I am getting www.sitename.com/category/product-name.html Any ideas on how I could fix this issue ? Also, and I really dont understand why but my products combinations are available back-end, however nowhere to be seen anymore front-end ??? If anyone resolved this issue recently I would appreciate some tips or advices on how to deal with it. My prestashop boutique version is 1.5.4.1 Thank you
