Hi everyone ! I could use some help. I'm using Prestashop 1.7.7.7, and since a few weeks, I'm experiencing a really slow back office (10 to 20seconds between pages). I have no issues with the front office. I upgraded to a faster server (doubled the CPU/RAM), but nothing changed. Trying to know which module or hook could be responsible for this slowness, I enabled debug mode to have timings on the request. And in debug mode, the back office is super fast. I don't have the same issue at all. I already tried to clear the 'prod' and 'dev' cache, my smarty recompilation settings are on "never recompile". I'm a bit clueless right now, do you have an idea what could case such a difference between debug and prod modes ? My first idea was to enable debug mode as it enables performance monitoring using Symfony, but as I said, debug mode seems to "solve the issue"... It is obvious that I just can't let the shop in debug mode while in production, so I must find the real issue. Do you have ideas for me to dig deeper ? Thanks a lot 😄

Hello, I've enabled debug mode, and my website is showing that random queries that should take < 10ms to load, are supposedly taking much longer. Example query: SELECT SQL_NO_CACHE * FROM `gZ5dA1fv7y_country_lang` WHERE `id_country` = 17 from /src/Adapter/EntityMapper.php:84, says 40000~ms load time, but it's obviously incorrect as the page loaded in 3s~. Loading a page multiple times can return results such as 1.2s, 2s, 3.4s load times. Shouldn't page loads be somewhat consistent if the website isn't experiencing heavy traffic? Apc Cache is disabled since it ruins Prestashop Checkout, other forms of caching are enabled such as smarty,js/css minified etc. Thanks

ReCaptcha addon from Prestashop Addons

Hi, Very nice post ! Thank you for sharing. I installed a ReCaptcha addon from Prestashop Addons and and I see that there is a javascript call (recaptcha__fr.js) on all of my product pages. Very annoying because I only want this on the contact form. Do you have the solution to solve the problem? Hallo there, we have Prestashop 1.7 on our fresh new CentOS 7 VPS server. The Configuration is 4 v CPU, 8 GB RAM and 160 GB SSD. PHP 7 and 10.1.43-MariaDB. We have about 160k products in cca 200 Categories. Some category pages are very very slow (20sec). Website URL is www.moto1.cz, HomePage loads Ok, Product page too, but some category pages are very slow, for example https://www.moto1.cz/424-plasty-polepy. Does anybody know how to speed up the process? Very thank you all.

I don't quite understand how can I get the following Performance Scores at GtMetrix: PageSpeed Score (91%) A YSlow Score (81%) B Yet my website is extremely slow, I am running 1.6.1 and sometimes is lightning fast and sometimes is so slow it times out. Hi everyone, In order to increase the loading time on my site I want to delay some CSS/JS calls to improve my critical path. To limit the parallel downloads, my CCC is activated. My question is : How to exclude some CSS and JS files from being included in CCC ? I'd like to have on constant CCC file (which includes like global.css, product_files.css, etc... main css files) and other CSS files which would be called depends on the page. It would greatly increase the rendering speed of my site. Any ideas ? thx -

I am trying to improve the loading time of my website. So after doing some modifications. I wanted to check the SQL Query speeds. To do this i thought i only had to turn on Debug Profiling. But when i change define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', false); to define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', true); part of my site doesn't get loaded. And i can't see any extra information. I only see the toppart of my website. Any ideas what is causing this issue? or how to resolve this?

Hello, we have problem with speed of PrestaShop 1.6. Both the frontend and the administration is very, very slow. It's not caused by the server HW because it has 24-core CPU, 80 GB RAM and other PHP+MySQL applications are very fast there. It currently runs Debian 8 with Apache 2.2.22, PHP 5.4.45 (libapache2-mod-php5) and MySQL 5.5.55. We tried PHP 7 but it was roughly as slow as with the older version. We also tried to disable all modules but it didn't speed up. We use the default template with slight modification. Our shop has currently ca. 8000 products and ca. 50000 combinations.
