Prestashop version 1.7.6.5 - also appeared in 1.7.3 I have scoured the forums and google looking at related posts with no solution. Description. When visiting a product page and adding the product to the cart the popup appears but no product is added. I have cleared cache, wiped cookies from browser, ran in incognito. Truncated the connections tables in database. Wiped the theme (using default classic) and re installed the theme with default files using ftp. Checked all browsers. Problem occurs in every one. Ran debug mode to check for errors - none showing So what could have triggered the issue? New modules installed (possible but these have all been disabled) Database problem with carts and orders (likely) I do have another module (fastbay) which is returning unknow error on importing orders. I think the 2 problems are linked I am happy to pay for someone to fix this problem.

Hi guys and girls, Can you please help me with this issue. My add to cart suddently stopped working. When we press add to cart, there is no response. The cart remains empty. This happens from google chrome , Firefox , internet and also from any mobile . I did not have this issue before . I have not installed any new module. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the shopping cart module, and the problem still exists. The page gets updated, but nothing get added to the shopping cart, so the cart stays empty. Hi! As the title suggests, I would like to allow customers to only put one product per category into the shopping cart. If a customer tries to add a second article of the same category to the shopping cart, there should be a (customizeable and translateable) popup-message, which notifies the customer about this limitation. In the backend I'd like to set to which categories this rule should apply to (it should not apply to all!) Does anything like that already exist? (I can see that there are modules out there, which for example limit the quantity per customer group.) Otherwise: Anyone willing to provide me with a proper solution, I can spare a few bucks …

Hey everyone, I see everywhere that cart-summary.js should be here and there but it's never the place where mine is. I've look for it for hours, where should it be in 1.7.7.3 version please ?

Hi, I have recently started to work with the display of the missing amount to give a discount. This information displays above the basket in the form: " You are missing xxx.xx EUR for the -10% discount". I have added a simple piece of code in the cart.tpl file, while I would like this information to be displayed using AJAX. I'll make no secret of the fact that I'm green in this subject and I don't really know what variables I need, and whether it's necessary to define additional variables or simply call the cart refresh again. Adding items into shopping cart is too slowly when a customer id logged in. 1. when customer is not logged in - adding/removing items into/from the shopping cart is happening instantly 2. when customer is logged in - adding/removing items into/from the shopping cart is happening in 10 or 11 seconds, which is to much. Hello folks I have in my store products with feature. I want this feature to appear right under the "SKU" field, in the shopping cart summary. +++ EDIT September 2019 ++++ Don't apply the "fix" described below in PHP, since it just fixes some symptoms (not all) and is not a solution to the source of the problem. You probably have a javascript error somewhere, preventing correct execution of another script. Most probably this error is due to an incompatibility of a module/plugin. +++ END EDIT +++ On our installation of PS 1.7.4.4 we got reports of some customers, that they could not add products to the cart. A click on the button "Add to cart" took the customer to the view of the cart contents which said "no items in cart" or something like this. The modal dialog "product added to cart" we ourselves usually see at this point with the option to continue shopping or go to checkout was not appearing. The customer was using Windows 10 with the "lastest version of Firefox" but we could only duplicate this faulty behaviour with Internet Explorer on Windows 10. The option to "disable ajax" in the shopping cart module settings did not solve this problem. Finally we discovered that in controllers/front/CartController.php around line 231 this condition was failing: if (Tools::getIsset('add') || Tools::getIsset('update')) { $this->processChangeProductInCart(); } On the faulty system the POST values did not contain the variables add=1 action=update which were being POSTed on a setup where adding to cart was working for us as expected. Hi, I need to display the total number of product which are currently in the shopping cart. Currently my basket just displays the total price. I am facing a strange issue, when I click on the 'Add to Cart' button, the product gets added to the Cart BUT the same is not shown till at a time I reload the page? I mean I have to reload the page [probably ajax issue?] to see the updated cart.

Hello dear friends, the cart summary doesn't show any products, prices, discounts, totals. I can see the items in cart only in the Cart Block from Ajax, but when I click on it, the summary looks as at the picture below. I'm creating a jewelry shop store, and I created fields in the product customization so the client has the possibility to write anything. What I want to know is if there are any possibility to edit the text field of the product customization when we are at the shopping cart. (if the customer wants to change the text (because he made a mistake or changed his mind ) without going back to the product page. Please take a look at my attached screenshot. De code voor het logo staat gewoon standaard op de col sm4 met een width van 33.XXXXXXX%. Ik heb in de CSS wel de breedte van de shop aangepast, deze staat nu op 1800px ipv de standaard (dacht ik) 1440. Er wordt wel wat code gegeven om de shopping cart weer uit te lijnen in de cart div, maar dat werkt dus van geen kanten (zie eerder genoemd resultaat). Wie kan mij helpen waar ik moet kijken en wat ik moet aanpassen om het weer op 1 lijn te krijgen én de responsiveness te behouden? bedankt!

Have added a new product but 'add to cart' does not work properly - shows all zeros. All other store items successfully register in cart and transactions function fine. (Using Ajax cart successfully for default theme.) The new item has three combinations, like some other items, each set up with appropriate pricing data. Thus far cannot find any settings that would prevent the 'add to cart' success - result is same even if qty change from 1 to 2 or 3 - cart is not seeing it with relevant figures. Attached - image of the item page - looks normal. Plus supposed success 'added to cart' grab - all zeros?! Any thoughts from the gurus as to what might have been wrong in set up?? Puzzled right now.

Hi, In PrestaShop 1.74 I'm having a problem: I'm using the built-in shopping cart in AJAX mode and almost everything works fine. Unfortunately I've had to make considerable changes to the top navigation menu and have moved the cart and items and modified some of the HTML... The cart and the cart icon updates from a product page or the Cart page - BUT - the cart icon does not maintain status between pages. It always shows an empty cart when a page first loads irrespective of the quantity in the cart. How can I force it to update to the current status of the contents of the cart (which is being properly maintained by PrestaShop)? Just to be clear: If I update the cart from a product page the top icon immediately shows the correct amount when the pop up window closes - but then when going to the cart page, the top cart icon displays '0' products until I manually increment it. Any ideas on how to solve this would be welcome!

Hello, my problem is related with the shopping cart page because when there is no products it shows me up the Exception message (nocartpage.png) and the message comes into the Exceptionlog.txt file. Has anybody of you had this kind of problem before and which file needs to be fixed in order to solve this problem? Exceptionlog.txt

Hello since 25-12-2018 people who want to add a product to the shopping cart get this message : " Impossible to add the product to the cart. textStatus: 'error' errorThrown: '' responseText" " It looks like the product will end up in the shopping cart but the message does scare costumers I read that in the past for some people it did help to disable Google Analytics , I did try this but it doesn't work My Prestashop version is : 1.6.1.11 Can someone help me please
