Hi, I have a Prestashop with multistore feature active. Both shops are different and I need custom registration for each of them. Each registration page will contain different form fields, so simple HTML/CSS would not work here, as the POST data need to be stored somewhere via controller... I tried to override /classes/form/CustomerFormatter.php but it change registration content in all shops. I also try to create custom module which override above file but only for specific multistore ID and it do not help. Same results as above. Do you have nay idea how to create different registration form for each multistore shop?

So far I have been quite impressed by out of the box features provided by Prestashop but this thing really let me down: If someone wants to register on the site or do a guest check out he can put anything as his name. Anything includes things like "---", all spaces, "***" etc. There is no validation provided here and this is really annoying. I have tried to modify the processSubmitAccount method in website\controllers\front\AuthController.php to use the Validate::isName() method but this does not help at all. It lets the users put all the strange character in the name field. I tried to create another method inside the Validate class: public static function isHumanName($name) { return preg_match('/^[A-Za-z]+$/', $name); } but for some reason this simple pattern does not work. All I want to be able to do is allow names like "FirstName MiddleName" having only one space chracter at a time and not at the start of the name. My php and regex skills are minimal and this is all I have come up with so far. Besides name I want to validate addresses and phone numbers. Addresses can have numbers in addition to letters while phone numbers can only have numbers. I guess if the problem with validating names is solved then I would be able to do it for address and numbers as well. I would appreciate if someone can put me in right direction. Thanks

I have a customer who registered and ordered with one email address. Subsequent to that order, he registered with his new email address and ordered with his new email address. Is there a way I can merge his old account / orders with his new account so everything shows up with his new email login? Edit: I used brute force approach with phpmyadmin access to database. I located and changed the id_customer filed in the various database tables associated with the old email address to that associated with the new email address. I located the following tables that have the id_customer field (ps_customer has the master id_customer filed): (all prefaced with ps_): address, cart, customer_group, customer_thread, message, orders, order_return, order_slip

Hello, yesterday I had a strange issue with my eshop. A client created an account without adding an address during the registration form which the address fields are mentatory. I tried by my self to check if the shop changed the configuration settings that I did to make the address during an upgrade but the address was required. Is there any bug with the prestashop registration form? I'm using prestashop v1.6.1.1

Hi everyone, I am trying to create a file type field in the registration form of my prestashop. I have already created the field and I can attach a pdf, the problem I have is that I cannot save this file on the server, and in the database the name of the file is saved, but not the path, since it does not exist not being saved on the server. Does anyone know how I can save the path of the file that I want to upload and how to save it in a folder on the server. I attached some screenshots showing the development. Thank you very much, I wait for your help!

Dear community, i am trying to run some PHP Code after a new customer successfully created an account in our onlineshop. my question is where to insert this PHP? i assume the best way is to write a module which calls the CustomerAccountAdd Hook ? (And how does the Code has to Look like) And the PHP Code or rather the Module itself should get triggered whenever a new account gets successfully registered. Is this automatically happening or do i have to tell the CustomerAccountAdd Hook That it always runs the module after an account was successfully created? *Edit In this module i need to access the Email of the recently created account and Save as PHP var I would be very glad if someone could help me out. My Code for my module looks like following: Anything i put in the hook function at bottom is not working... <?php if (!defined('_PS_VERSION_')) exit; class SendEmail extends Module { public function __construct() { $this->name = 'SendEmail'; $this->tab = 'front_office_features'; $this->version = '1.2'; $this->author = 'Philip Zadeh'; $this->need_instance = 0; $this->ps_versions_compliancy = array('min' => '1.4', 'max' => '1.7'); parent::__construct(); $this->displayName = $this->l('SendEmail'); $this->description = $this->l('Activate to enable activation Emails for new Customers.'); $this->confirmUninstall = $this->l('Are you sure you want to uninstall?'); if (!Configuration::get('SendEmail_NAME')) $this->warning = $this->l('No name provided'); } public function install() { return parent::install() && $this->registerHook('actionCustomerAccountAdd'); } public function hookActionCustomerAccountAdd($params) { } } ?> Best regards, Philip Zadeh

Hi Everyone, Hope this is a simple one. I'm using the "classic" theme and on the registration page, I want to put some text before the main section (see red arrow in attached image called registration_page.png). How do you do this? To clarify, I don't want a new field, just a sentence/line of text to alert the customer to something while completing the form. In the other image (registration_code.png) - would this be the location to enter any text? I could try this, but is it the right location? Thanks for your help. Dave

Witam, wszystkich, Potrzebuje pomocy z dodatkowymi polami formularza rejestracyjnego.

Hi there, I tried to find something about this, but searches yielded nothing. First of all, I am not the developer, but producer, so not super technically minded and the site is currently in limbo after being handed off by the developer to us and the new developer not having taken over the reigns yet, hence me turning to you. The problem is that as a new user I cannot actually register on the site as I do not receive a mail to verify my account. I have fully deleted my account connected to that email on the Presta backend and started fresh, entered the info and hit register and it thinks about it and drops me back on the login/registration field with no error. I can't them log the account in it'll say "THERE IS 1 ERROR - YOUR ACCOUNT ISN'T AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME, PLEASE CONTACT US". I look in the backend and see the account, but its not enabled. I do not receive any verification email to enable the account. I can -manually- enable it on the presta back-end and it then works fine. There are some modules on the back-end needing updating, but nothing email related. Any tips? Much appreciated. Seb

Good morning! I've been using prestashop 1.7.5.1 and I've checked that when a costumer registers in our shop and introduces his email in capitals, the confirmation email that he gets just shows generic data. HELLO {FIRSTNAME} {LASTNAME}, THANKS TO CREATE A COSTUMER ACCOUNT {SHOP_NAME}, etc. Did someone has the same mistake? I think that the solution will be apply php mb_strolower function before inserting costumer's email, but I want to know in which tpl or folder is, or if someone would mind to show me a better solution. Thanks in advance!

Hello together, I am currently working on our Checkout-Process. We already implemented a new first step where customer can choose if he wants to register or not and then comes to Second (old First Step) with just the Info guest_allowed true or false. Now I want the customer to be able to save an address in the customer-form. So I edited the CustomerForm.php and CustomerFormatter.php file to diplays those fields and safe the address. Everything works fine but one thing: If I want to go to checkout as guest and enter the data, I am redirected to step 1 after submitting. All the data is saved correctly (I see Customer as guest with address in BO) and it seems like no Error is thrown (added a die() in CheckoutProcess if function hasError is called). And if I try to do the same step again without clearing cookies and try to continue as guest it's successful but both addresses are shown. I really really don't know where I am redirected to step 1 (seems like all steps are incomplete then). As I said: This only happens if I try to checkout as guest with fresh cookies (with no previous attempt to "register"). About some tips I would be really happy. Even if those are just tips where too look Best regards, Laurens
