Hi all, Small question. Does anyone know by any chance where they store the product combination quantities. They combine it in the ps_stock_available->quantity, but where are the separate values stored? Probably overlook them somewhere... Example, what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/ic2UyRl.jpg Thx, pascal

Hello everyone, I'm facing a problem, which after looking (searching) Google and the Forums couldn't find a solution, I found similar problems or related but none seem to do for me. What I need to achieve is this: look the attatched image Explanation: I want to display the Quantity of stock of each of my combinations as shown in the image. So far I believe I've to add a "simple" line here (in product.tpl): <select name="{$groupName}" id="group_{$id_attribute_group|intval}" class="attribute_select" onchange="findCombination();getProductAttribute();{if $colors|@count > 0}$('#wrapResetImages').show('slow');{/if};"> {foreach from=$group.attributes key=id_attribute item=group_attribute} <option value="{$id_attribute|intval}"{if (isset($smarty.get.$groupName) && $smarty.get.$groupName|intval == $id_attribute) || $group.default == $id_attribute} selected="selected"{/if} title="{$group_attribute|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}">{$group_attribute|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</option> {/foreach} </select> In the <option> tag, but I don't figure out how exactly retrieve the quantity of each attribute. So anyone know how to deal with this? Or maybe it's possible with the Advanced Stock Managment without having to code? :/ Thanks in advance! Cheers.

Hello, I've been trying to import updated quantities into prestashop 1.7.1.1 via CSV. How can I go about it? From the products page I've downloaded a CSV-File that's formatted like so: "Product ID";Image;Name;Reference;Category;"Base price";"Final price";Quantity;Status;Position I've edited it, updating out current quantities. When trying to import, it looks like I can only add new products? I've never actually tried importing the quantities this way, since I'm scared it'll overwrite important data. Can someone walk me through the process of updating quantities via CSV in 1.7.1.1 without using paid modules? Thanks!

I have problem: "Add to cart" button works just in case defalut comboination is in stock. When defalut combination is out of stock in category list You could see "view" button. Example 1 Product X with given combinations: A combination (defalut combination) - 0 products available B combination - 2 products available C combination - 3 products available D combination - 4 products available In this case there's no "add to cart" button in list of category products Product X with given combinations: A combination (defalut combination) - 1 products available B combination - 0 products available C combination - 0 products available D combination - 0 products available In this case You can see "add to cart" button under product picture on category page Example: https://skiracecenter.pl/36-narty-damskie "DODAJ" means add to cart "WIĘCEJ" mean view more

Hello i want to ask something that looks simple but a question of a client make me to thinking complicated. He said. " Someone creating carts and let them and the next visitors cant make an order because all the products are in the forgoten carts". Is that possible? An abandoned cart keep the quantity and block produtcs to be ordered? I think the products will not blocked for order until someone make an order and not only if simply let them into and abandonded cart. Is that correct???

Scenario: An employee creates a supplier order into Warehouse -> Supplier Order back office page. When the order phisically arrives, the employee updates its status to delivered to our warehouse or partially delivered. So far, everything ok. The problem kicks in when the order is partially delivered to our warehouse and there is a related customer order available and waiting for supplying. For example, if the customer ordered 20x Product A, and we discover to have received 24x Product A, so 4 more of what we expected, when we update the related supplier order with 24x Product A, we lose the extra 4 quantities, and the Employee needs to add them manually after the supplier order closure. This happens everytime we encounter such errors (they can also be external supplier order changes after the creation of the supply order into back office, that the Employee couldn't know). I guess we need a sort of check for such cases. Anyone with the same problem and/or with a fix?

I found a solution to display the correct quantities for your products in stock on the Administrator Product List page. Prestashop takes the quantity from the table ps_stock_available but here is only the stock for the default shop listed. So I modified the controller to get the stock from the table ps_stock, here you get the correct stock by each warehouse. It's working but there are some things I still need to change.. You can't set the product reference on the page because the query gives a ambiguous field for the ps_product.reference with the ps_warehouse.reference. And I can't find where the SELECT query is created... :-( I can't do a search on 'Manufacturer', so I disables the search until I found it... Search on baseprice does not work with decimals... If someone can help me with these things, please post it. Copy the file AdminProductsController.php to the folder override/controllers/admin. Search for the text below and copy/paste the code between "// HERE STARTS MY CODE" till "// HERE ENDS MY CODE" into the file. $join_category = false; if (Validate::isLoadedObject($this->_category) && empty($this->_filter)) { $join_category = true; } // HERE STARTS MY CODE $alias = 'sa'; $alias_image = 'image_shop'; $id_shop = Shop::isFeatureActive() && Shop::getContext() == Shop::CONTEXT_SHOP? Dear all, One of our clients uses our stock management program to send quantities to PrestaShop, for "regular" articles but also for articles with sizes and colors. The quantities sent to PrestaShop are correct and the individual quantity of one size-color combination is also correctly shown. However, in the PrestaShop back office, the total quantities of a size and color article are incorrect. Any idea how to solve this? Kind and best regards, Bert

Hello forum, does anybody know of a module that is capable of the following: Allowing “Product Attributes - Values” to have a quantity field, which is consistent/synced with all products that use that attribute?! So whenever a sold product contained that attribute-value, e.g. component, then the stock levels are reduced for this attribute/value. That is because our products consist of two mandatory components that add up to a complete, sellable product. An illustrative, easy to explain example would be: Imagine a jewelry store, that sells customizable rings. The registered main products are gemstones (tiger eye, jade, onyx, turquoise, etc. etc.) and the attribute-values are the few different versions of the metal ring that holds the gemstone (e.g. silver, gold, brass, copper, steel). And as these attribute-values (the blank/empty metal rings) are limited in stocks, so there is a need to track stock levels… Generally this functionality is given in prestashop (combinations quantities), yet it is bound to a specific product, e.g. combination, e.g. it is not consistent, in sync, with the same attribute group used on an other product. So basically the desired module should adjust quantities for all combinations that use a specific attribute-value… Thanks for aaany input!! Best regards

Hello Presta People, I built a nice shop with Prestashop. Now that it is up and running well, I'd like to implement the multistore feature. We have several shops running on different platforms at the moment, the point is to bring all of those into one Prestashop, so that we can handle - orders - product description - product prices -product quantities all in one Prestashop. One of my main consideration is that if I check "share the quantities for this group" it will reset all of my quantities!! We have over 10k products in our shop, not talking about the size/color/options stuff. I found here a hack: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/465892-multi-store-how-to-turn-on-sharing-quantities-without-resetting-qty/ I can't really imagine that I have to hack the core or do overrides for such a simple (?) task... If I decide to switch to an advanced stock management, could it turn out to be a good workaround? I'd be thankful for any tips, Mathieu.

Hello, is it possible to let customers select quantities of product accessories? For example I have a bed as my product and white, yellow, red pillows as accessories. I want to let my customers choose how many of each pillows they want to get with their bed. Adding different accessories and listing all possible quanitties is not an option, as they can order 1 white, 10 yellow and even 150 of red pillows if they want, that is why I want to give them an option to input the quantity of the accessories. Any possible solutions or thoughts to get me to the right direction are more than welcome, thanks!

Hi This seems to be a bug. I hope that it is just a wrong setting, though. In the front-end, when viewing a product (with combinations), it looks normal. See attachment 1 (product_available.png). Then I cycle though the combinations - to make sure they have been set-up properly. When I came back to the same product combination, it says product unavailable. See attachment 2 (product_unavailable.png). It happens (product is flagged as out-of-stock - unavailable) on each second choice, since I have 5 combinations (an odd number), the same product reports differently. However in the Back Office, the quantities (for each combination) are set with a high number. See attachment 3 (product_bo.png). Why is this happening?

Hi everyone, I've been using Prestashop for a while on my live shop now but there seems to be an issue (both on 1.6.0.8 and 1.6.0.9 (I've tried both)) where I can't update the product quantities for its attributes by uploading a csv containing the product id, attribute, value, reference, ean13, quantity and minimal quantity. All it does is create a copy of the size (US Size 9) in the back office so I have two sizes (US Size 9) with one that has quantity 0 (the original quantity) and the other has the new quantity for that size. But even though both show in the back office, My product shows as "Out of Stock" on the front office, and theres only one of each size, not the duplicates (US Size 9). Theres 0 stock for all of the combinations. I'm happy to modify any php or edit the sql database. Maybe Prestashop isn't recognising they're the same attribute? Maybe I need to set a field somewhere to change this? Thanks for any help.

I have been looking through this forum and can not find a solution, so here goes... I have installed and configured most of Prestashop 1.6.0.14. I have products in the store. I am using advanced stock management. I have three products (out of 10) that show the product in stock. The others do not show that the items are in stock. I have compared line by line one item that shows in stock and one item that does not. They are identical. I have looked at the warehouse settings and they are identical. On the customer facing page, the items that show the item is not in stock say "Product available with different options". I am sure I have over looked something, but I can not find what it could possibly be. Any ideas, suggestions, or better yet - solutions???? http://www.pastawench.com/store

Hi, I've managed to get my prestashop 1.6 up and running successfully and now it's time to fine tune it. I have a website selling e-liquids and would like to offer a discount for multilple items. I only wish the discounts to be applied to the liquids though. for example 1x bottle £4.99 2x bottles £7.99 3x bottles £9.99 I have been playing around with it for hours now but I just can't seem to get it to work correctly. i think i'm missing something quite simple but if someone could provide me step by step I would be forever greatful. It's giving me a headache now. Thank you in advance.

Hi there, I'm new into PS and amazed by al the possibilities this software offers! We plan to sell flowerbulbs online and I have a (first) question; Flowerbulbs are mostly sold per quantity. This quantity is changing per product (specie) but lets take 10 as an example. So we sell 10 flowerbulbs for 3 euro. The price of the product is then 3 euro, but how to I make clear to our customers they get 10 bulbs for this price (except for writing it in the productname) and how do I make it clear on our packinglist? On the productpage I can find a minimum quantity only but its not what I'm looking for (then I would have to fill in: price 0,30 euro, minimum quantity 10 bulbs: that makes a minimum price of 3 euro). I'm looking for an "sold per" option. If customers buy 50 bulbs they get 10% discount. How do I make this clear in the quantity discount menu? It would be then: 5x10= 50 bulbs: 10% discount. (now: quantity 5 is 10% discount) Thanks in advance for your replies, Mjonglang - netherlands

Hi There, I've worked with a number of eCommerce platforms, but am having difficulty getting my head around PrestaShop 1.5.2. My issue pertains to stock not -1 (decreasing) when sold. I have all products in the catalogue set to: -- I want to specify available quantities manually In Preferences > Products > Products stock -- Enable stock management is ticked. The manual quantities available to sell aren't changing after an item sells. Can anyone explain why, what I've missed or if I have to move over to advanced stock management settings? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello all, Is it possible that prestashop handles quantities of a product pack dependent of the quantity of the simgle product? What i need to create is a pack of 3 units of the same product: Product A : 15 units Product Pack = 3 units of Product A what i thought possible was that by adding the 15 units of "Product A" the quantity of the "Product Pack" adjusted to 5 Also selling 1 unit of "Product Pack" adjusted quantity of "Product A" to 12 Is this possible, always thought the idea of a product pack would be like this, but i can't get it to work. Using Prestashop 1.5.4.1 When creating new products, or editing existing products, I am having intermittent problems with getting changes to the product quantities field to stick. I am set up for manual inventory management and with no product combinations. After changing the quantity field on Catalog->Product->Edit->Quantities page and clicking on Save and Stay or just Save, the value in the redrawn screen does not change. I do get the brown message bar saying "Saving Data" and "Loading". I also get the green message bar saying "Update Successful". Likewise the value on the Catalog->Product page does not change. Loging off and then on does not change the situation. Sometimes trying the change a couple of times will resolve the problem, sometimes not. Is this just a cache problem or what? Any thoughts? Thanks for your interest and assistance. Mike

I'm searching for a script or module that can integrate prestashop with a generic CRM software. Infact this is the first problem that every customer ask to me: how is it possible to synchronize the quantity of the CRM Software with the ones on Prestashop platform. I think that, if CRM software can export the products and related quantities in a CSV (or XML) file automatically every T time, then if we have a script that every T+Xseconds get this file and update the quantities this can be really great! Do you know of a system like this one descripted by me? Thank you in advance for your answers.
