So I have just realised to show the cover image as the image in the category product list, the image I want to use has to be one that is selected for the default product. In the BO I have moved the cover image to be the last image like this... This isnt a problem, but now when I click on that product and choose a colour option, the cover image is shown and not the image. it still shows the cover image when the customer chooses a colour. Any idea how to show the image (blue kit in above image) when the blue option is selected ? Im on Prestashop 1.7.2

My question is, how would be possible to edit the each “Product image” default link to an external link. For example, in Frontpage when you click on a product image will lead to an external website instead to the product page. I would like to do: . in Backend, Admin area. When creating a new product when you upload an image for the product, will ask the external link. Or have a field below the Product image area to add the external link. Hi, I am working on preparation of the website based on 'next' template but faced an issue with display of enlarged product images. When added multiple images to the product then they do not look well: 1. enlarged image is smaller than previously 2. up and down arrows not visible on the right hand side (but if You click the white space on the top and the bottom of the list on the right side then it works....) 3. although large_default size should be 800px width and 800px height images are diplayed as 513px width and 513px height Can You please, take a look at this page, and try to review images? https://nadair.pl/pl/women/2-9-brown-bear-printed-sweater.html#/1-rozmiar-s invalid display in 'next' theme: I expect to have that working like in the default 'classic' theme: product-images-modal.tpl is nearly the same so should not impact the display - it must be related to styles used in the template. Hi, I would like to ask how can I put the product image into the mail that is sent to the customer? (customer order). By default the only info are given to the customer are Reference, Product, Quantity, Unit Price I would like it to show the product image also (like in the shopping cart). thanks in advance! Hi every one, I have few issues that I really hope you can help me with. I have an Online shop made made with Prestashop 1.7.6.2. I have no IT experience, so please try to explain me as I was a child J Finally after many tries, I managed to create a product catalogue in facebook and connect it to my website with Facebook pixel. However I have few issues: 1) Every item/product on my website has few images, but in the “product catalogue” in Facebook, only the cover image is shown. Why? How Can I fix this? 2) In the product catalogue in Facebook, the “Meta-Tittle” is shown as it was the product tittle. In the Prestashop Back office, in the SEO section of each product, I have the option to write a different “Meta tittle” or leave it empty. If I leave it empty, then in the Facebook product catalogue the “Product tittle” is shown correctly ( it shows the product name ), but as soon I add a text in the felt “Meta Tittle” , this text is shown as it was the name of the product. How can I fix this? I used the module Facebook pixel to connect the Facebook with the website, and also I used my pixel as data Source for connecting the Facebook product catalogue and products on the website. Sorry for the long explanation . I could not explain in a better way. I add some screenshots.

Hey Folks, I'm just setting up my shop with the classic theme of PS 1.7.6.1. everything went well, until I realized that the magnifying glass on the product images has disappeared and the Google+ button is missing, too. When you click on the small magnifying glass you will get a broken popup frame with the procduct image in it. Last thing I changed was the uppercase letter in product titels on the startpage: themes.css -> text-transform:none

There is a SOLVED thread guiding how to add a SOLD OUT image when an item is no longer available. it works smoothly. What about implementing this to the mobile default template? Hey all, I keep struggling at finding a way to achieve something that, as far as I know, Prestashop can't do by itself, and that is setting a different format (let's say a VERTICAL one) for a certain category, as opposed to the rest of the categories where I could use the default format, ie. SQUARED. Do you have any ideas on how one could get something like this in Prestashop PS1.6? I need it for a store that sells shoes (squared pics) but now wants to add a special category with clothing (vertical pics) and resizing/fitting/cropping the clothing images to fit in the square format has a major negative impact on user experience and product showcasing. Any idea is welcomed! Thanks a bunch.

hi every body , i'm just setting up a new website for selling wallpapers and wall murals (wall posters) and the point is that my products are based on images i mean my product images are so important and i need my product images can serve different dimensions because some of my product images are landscape and some of them are horizontal and some of them are square its better to say i have a lot of image dimensions my question is that how can i setup that to have a masonry layout product list and product images with different dimensions?? after all thanks for participating to find a solution

Hello everyone, I am trying to edit the image of one product in my shop dynamically. I want the personalized image to appear at the shopping cart, the product page and at the ordering process. Every cart id and every attribute can have a personalized image. The question is, which files do I have to edit? Do I have to work on the template or with an override of a controller? I just want to find the files and lines of code where the image is handled and put into the cart, product or the ordering process. Thanks for any help in advance!

Hello, I have PrestaShop V1.6.1.11, I can not see the Product Images when Enable Friendly URL from backoffice. I have also upgraded my PrestaShop Version to V1.6.1.18 (latest 16) but still the error is same. I have followed all the previous forum topics to solve this but no one helps me. Hello PS fans, I have a problem with product image gallery popup, from some time on mobile it seems to have a wrong size and position ( too big). It apear on chrome and can be simulated on desktop's chrome mobile views. The wired thing is that this problem is noticeable only in some products. I'm quite shure that this is an JS issue but can't localiuze it. Any help welcome. Hi to all, After hosting migration my prestashop v 1.6 when I try to upload product image are saved but with very bad quality. I think is an issue related with compression process but I'm not sure if is a setting for Prestashop or hosting. Any help? I attached original image and result of upload process. I have tried searching all the forums and couldn't find a solution so my apologies if this has already been resolved and I just haven't found it. I am starting a new store and have done a fresh install of prestashop 1.5.3.1 on a remote server. I navigated to the BO and created a new product. I then tried to upload a product image but it throwed an 'undefined' error. The image is well within the size and resolution boundaries. I did the same instalation of prestashop 1.5.3.1 on a local server. I navigated to the BO, created a new product and tried to upload the same image. This time it worked fine. So far all of this has been done using Firefox. I then navigated to the BO of my remote server using Internet Explorer. I tried uploading the same product image and it worked fine. So now I am really confused. The problem can't be with the image - it works fine on both local and remote servers The problem can't be with the remote server - it worked fine when using internet explorer The problem can't be with the browser - it worked fine on my local server using Firefox So what is happening here? I really want to be able to use Firefox for this. Any help you can give me would be really appreciated. EDIT: Tested all the other browsers and it only seems to work in IE for the remote server

Cant upload images to my products, i've been trying to solve this problem for 2 days but no success. I can upload smaller images, like 60x100, but sometimes those images crash on the same error

Is there are module that allows you to upload a product's image URL verses having to upload the jpeg file for every product? I cannot right click and save image as for high resolution product images from AliExpress.

Hello, I am trying to change the color of the background of images on both product detail and product list pages. I am using 1.6.0.9 default theme. Images are cropped and a white background is shown. I edited the background of the image block in product.css as noted below: /* .pb-left-column ***************************************************************************** */ .pb-left-column #image-block { position: relative; display: block; cursor: pointer; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid #dbdbdb; background: white; } @media (max-width: 767px) { .pb-left-column #image-block { width: 280px; margin: 0 auto; } } Changing the bolded bacckground line gave me a slight border around the entire image with the desired color. However the rest of the image block is white. I am getting the impression this is not a background of product.css (and therefore not in product-list.css) but more a setting for what color is behind an image in general. I could be wrong, though. There is a topic here marked as solved: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/268875-solved-prestashop-image-cropping-background-change-white-color/ However, the ultimate "solution" is to use only one size image to prevent cropping. This is not really a great solution, so I am hoping someone can help me specify a color in place of that white. I could use a color matching the background and I will be good to go. Hello fellow prestashoppers, Im looking for advice on where i can change the colour of the image resize background. I understand prestashop automatically resizes images to the sizes specified in the backoffice, and will regenerate the images to this size, often within a white box. Like many others iv read in threads prior, i understand i COULD use PNG images so i can prevent the white box from appearing, but i wish to stick to Jpg due to file size (and other reasons)... As most of my images are various sizes, it seems time consuming to add each dimension to the image settings in the back office. I also would like it to change on the category thumbnails aswell. I see one person managed to change the "white background" by editing the css file for their selected theme, in the livethemeconfigurator files. I however have turned this module off, as i dont need it. Previous Prestashop version 1.5 i was able to find a module which allowed uses to customize the colour used to re-generate the images, and it worked great, however sadly it doesnt work on 1.6+ Have their been any new techniques come available since 1.6 came out, in regards to - product image background, - category thumbnail background (or image resizer background) Cheers
