Grazie Andrea

I installed the PrestaShop Checkout module and the Official PayPal module in my PrestaShop 8.1.7 and linked my PayPal (business) account. However, why every time I try to test a payment with my another Paypal (personal) account, both modules always gave me the same error "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." ? Which always redirect to this link : https://www.paypal.com/checkoutweb/genericError?code=REVGQVVMVA%3D%3D&cancelLink=&merchantName= WhatsApp Video 2024-08-17 at 11 (online-video-cutter.com) (online-video-cutter.com).mp4 Someone suggested clearing the cache and cookies, which I did, but it still didn't work, even when I tried it in a different browser and even I tried to make another personal Paypal account, but still same. Then I tried twice with my credit cards, first with my Visa card and then with my Mastercard, but both attempts gave me the message: "Something went wrong. We'll take you back to checkout so you can try again". And I received notifications on my phone from my credit card issuers stating that the transactions failed. I have tried disconnecting my PayPal business account from my PrestaShop and connecting my PayPal personal account instead, but I still got the same error messages. So, what’s causing the error messages that prevent me from trying make payments? Is there something that needs to be configured on my PayPal account? I truly appreciate for your help, thank you. additional notes: I use Prestashop 8.1.7 that running on PHP 8.2 with Prestashop Checkout module 8.4.0.1 and Official Paypal module 6.4.2 I saw in error_logs there repeated error like these [16-Aug-2024 02:13:38 Asia/Jakarta] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "value" in /modules/ps_checkout/src/Webhook/WebhookEventConfigurationUpdatedHandler.php on line 64 [16-Aug-2024 10:55:11 Asia/Jakarta] PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type null in /modules/ps_checkout/src/PayPal/Order/CommandHandler/UpdatePayPalOrderCommandHandler.php on line 96 [16-Aug-2024 10:55:13 Asia/Jakarta] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "payment_source" in /ps_checkout/src/PayPal/Order/CommandHandler/SavePayPalOrderCommandHandler.php on line 64

Hi 👋 I'm new in Prestashop and I just installed Prestashop Checkout module. I already configure my Prestashop Checkout by connecting my Paypal (business) account. Then I tried to payment testing with my credit cards, first with VISA card and second with Mastercard card, but both tells me "Something went wrong. We'll take you back to checkout so you can try again". And then I tried to pay with my other Paypal (personal) account, but it said "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." I then look at my Prestashop Checkout's configuration, it said "Upload documents in your PayPal account to verify your personal information andion your business entity. Once you have sent legal documents, the validation might take up to 3 business days". I clicked the Go to Paypal button, it goes to Paypal page and it said"Thank you for providing all the required information. You're all set, and your account is back to normal". It seems my account already verified/validated. I step back at my Prestashop Checkout's configuration to step 2 which is connect PayPal account, it said "Your PrestaShop account is linked to your PayPal account (Merchant ID censored)". And the Pending Validation spinning all the time even though my PayPal (business) account already verified/validated just like the PayPal said before "You're all set". I don't know what to do next, can anyone help me? Does anyone have the same issue? additional notes: I use Prestashop 8.1.7 that running on PHP 8.2 with Prestashop Checkout 8.4.0.1 I saw error_log on my server looks like this, I don't know is it the cause or not? [15-Aug-2024 11:15:11 Asia/Jakarta] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "payment_source" in /home/public_html/myprestashopwebsite/modules/ps_checkout/src/PayPal/Order/CommandHandler/SavePayPalOrderCommandHandler.php on line 64 I googling I found this, https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/PayPal-Payments-Standard/Connect-PayPal-account/td-p/3082964 the reply said you have to verified, confirmed, and no account limitation (which these all I did). Also you have to grant third party permission, but I don't know what the username for Prestashop Checkout module?

Hello everyone, I'm new to PrestaShop and have been setting up my online store over the past few days. I've encountered an issue with configuring payment gateways. I've tried integrating both PayPal and Stripe, but I'm running into some problems. Here are the steps I've followed so far: Installed the official PayPal and Stripe modules from the PrestaShop Addons Marketplace. Configured the modules with the necessary API keys and credentials provided by PayPal and Stripe. Enabled the payment methods in the Payment Preferences section. Despite doing all this, customers are either unable to select a payment method during checkout or encounter errors when attempting to process a payment. Specifically: For PayPal, customers see an error message stating "We're sorry, things don't appear to be working right now. Please try again later." For Stripe, the payment page simply refreshes without processing the payment, and no error message is displayed. I've double-checked my API keys and module settings, and everything seems to be correct. My PrestaShop version is up to date, and I've cleared the cache multiple times, but the issue persists. Has anyone else faced similar problems? Are there any additional settings or configurations I might be missing? Any advice or guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Elena, UK

I use Prestashop ver.1.7.8.11, Paypal offcial module ver: 6.4.0 (latest for this time). PHP Ver: 7.4.33 The module is connected to a peepal and the whole checklist is tick (OK). In PS the base currency is BGN (Bulgarian lev), second currency is EUR (Euro). When I try to place a test order with paypal instead of redirecting me to the paypal site it shows me the following message: I'm trying to place a test order with both currencies, but no luck. In the paypal account, the bank account that is added and confirmed is for BGN currency, could this be the reason ? Please someone give me some guidance on how to handle this case. The PS installation is brand new, the shop is about a month old.

I hope this post finds you well. I'm reaching out to share a recent challenge I've encountered while using the official PrestaShop PayPal module when my website is proxied through Cloudflare. It seems that the modulesPHP Curl requests and Webhook checks are failing consistently with 403 errors stated on the module's config page. I appreciate any insights or suggestions the community can provide to help resolve this issue. If you've successfully configured the module with Cloudflare or have experience troubleshooting similar conflicts, your input would be invaluable. TIA

PS-Version: 1.7.7.5 - PHP 7.3

I have prestashop 1.6.1. I have updated the official Paypal module to v3.17.0-paypal, configured it with the API credentials and the message says successfully installed and ready to accept payments. At checkout the pay by PayPal option does not appear. There is also pay by bank transfer and pay by cheque, both of which appear. I have checked the module hooks and they look correct. The displayPayment hook shows the three payment methods Paypal, Bank transfer, and cheque. I can change the position of the bank transfer and cheque and this is reflected in the checkout screen but PayPal is not shown. The site is running PHP 7.1.33 Prior to the upgrade the site was functioning correctly. I am at a loss to fix this and the shop is now not functional any suggestions would be gratefully received. Hi, There is a difference between "PayPal Officiel" and "PrestaShop Checkout built with PayPal" to receive Paypal/cards payment for merchants ? As I receive phone calls (from UK to me in France) and emails imploring me to update my "PayPal Officiel" to "PrestaShop Checkout" that according to them is cheapper and up to date for legal regulations. But service and price seam to be the same for the merchant (2.9% for paypal payment, 1.2% for card payment). My conclusion it's that there is two developpers and that one is trying to attract more users on its solution. Does anyone know more ?

Hello, dear Community, I hope someone can help me. I have removed the PayPal payment add-on and installed a Stripe plug-in instead. For that, I disabled and uninstalled the PayPal addon. The Stripe add-on is active in the store but does not show on the order checkout page. Instead, PayPal is still showing, but not working. The code shows that all Stripe files are loaded, but they seem to be overridden by this code: Please check out my screenshot below. This PayPal-related code was not removed when I uninstalled the PayPal add-on. It looks to me as if this onload PayPal script screws up Stripe. It needs to be removed. Where do I find this script and remove it so that header.tpl does not try to load it on the /order page? Your help will be very much appreciated. Thanks

When downloading a Delivery Slip, the payment method is shown only if the Stripe module is used. If the payment is done with either PayPal, Cash on Delivery or via bank transfer, the payment method is empty: "No Payment". I tried to edit the file in pdf/delivery-slip.payment-tab.tpl with no success... As in this post: Thank you very much in advance! Davide

Hello, I'm using paypal module (for 1.6 version). I've notice some strange behavior. Some orders payed by paypal have same same delivery and invoice address. But in cart originally where two different addresses. Why is that? I found in express_checkout\payment.php code: First module gets last address (randomly, becouse getAddresses gets address without order by) $addresses = $customer->getAddresses($ppec->context->language->id); foreach ($addresses as $address) { if ($address['alias'] == 'Paypal_Address') { //If address has already been created $address = new Address($address['id_address']); break; } } And then updates cart addresses to same address: if ($customer->id && $address->id) { $ppec->context->cart->id_customer = $customer->id; $ppec->context->cart->id_address_delivery = $address->id; $ppec->context->cart->id_address_invoice = $address->id; $ppec->context->cart->id_guest = $ppec->context->cookie->id_guest; Why is that? Addresses shouldn't be touched. Can I comment addresses update?

Hello everyone! I'm having a problem I can't solve regarding the payment methods in PayPal and their assistance isn't helping me. Basically, I would like to avoid customers with a non-registered PayPal account to be able to use their credit cards on my website and leave the "Pay with your PayPal account" the only available option. Problem is that, even if I'm using their official module and I can't find any setting about it, they are inviting me to contact the PrestaShop assistance for any kind of help about the module integration... this is silly, since the paymenth method is about PayPal and not PrestaShop, but they keep giving me a semi-automated answer which leads nowhere. Any of you have ever had this kind of need? Who do you think should deal with this request? I honestly don't understand who I should ask for help right now. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am testing the official Paypal module to add payment in 3 installments but the message it shows on the product sheet, since it does not include the price of the product, does not calculate the fee. Attached is a screenshot of how it looks and how it should look when I manually modify the price parameter in the html. Let's see if someone can help me out. Thank you so much
