Hi I'm using PrestaShop 1.7.4 and i'm trying to make "email" field optional in cart fields. When i turn on guest mode, it will make "password" field optional and i want to make email like password. So is there any way to use some code in controller/classes (or other files) to make this field optional or hard-code something to make it pre-filled with an email and if customer didn't enter any email, it doesn't show error any use that default email instead? Thanks.

hi i have setup my site a fresh clean install not using the classic theme i have enabled paypal and all setting are correct but nothing shows up on the cart i.e payment options i have enabled cash on delivery everything but nothing still comes up i have enabled debug mode and i have a error that has come up see below if you can give any insight that would be great many thanks all Catchable Fatal Error: Argument 1 passed to PrestaShop\PrestaShop\Core\Payment\PaymentOption::convertLegacyOption() must be of the type array, string given

Hy all, I am using prestashop 1.5.6.2 with a custom theme and as payment method Cash On Delivery module. I am also using One Page Checkout. I would like clients to skip order confirmation page ( .../module/cashondelivery/validation ) and when they click on the one page checkout the confirm button, the checkout process will be finished. I guess this way we will have a better conversion rate. -
Hello! This is my first post on prestashop forum.(the noob!) I was just comparing the default OPC that available in prestashop, which is boering with other OPC modules that available at addons.prestashop.com. (which are look very stuffed up) Randomly I found a website called www.amomuito.com which is more attractive that regular OPC and less stuffed up. Can any one help me with, how to make this type of OPC? Or is this available at store? Whats the name of it? Thank you in advance!

Hi, i am developing a website where orderproces is the highest of all priorities, which is why I need to minimize the options as much as possible. My thought is the allow users to sign-in on checkout and the use the "Instant checkout" form with an option of creation of a user. As i am not that much into how Prestashop differs the action I need to ask for guidance in here. AFAIK the only diffenrence in info needed is a password. How is this easily accomplished? - any thoughts are highly appriciated

Hi guys, howe are you? Im having a major problem on my CMS prestashop. Im new to all related to the CMS prestashop. Mostly graphic designer experience and some web sites . Im doing some tests for my site, and since 2 days a go, I got a big problem with the orders: prestashop 1.5.6.2 -every time that someone want to buy something, during the order process a new item its added. for exemple: I buy a usb drives and a keyboard ( its mark as an item that people who buys usb drives buys too) is added automaticly to the carrier during the order process, chaging the total that this person has to pay. - after that, if the person confirm the order and pay, this person its gonna receive an invoice with the right item choose and the right amount he pays) - but, the invoice who's receiving the administrator of the site its the one with the other item , on this exemple the key board and a total dif. amount. also, at the admin panel on the orders category the second product that the costumer didnt choose its mark as return. I see the same problem using dif, email for dic costumers olds and news. The technical support of the site where I buy the theme that ima using says that its a issue with the prestashop engine and no the template itself. Hi all, Thanks for reading my message. I got a big problem with my online shop. Please kindly help!!! The problem is at the order process:- Once a customer enter his/her address and click "Proceed to check out"then the website go to a blank page. There is no error message and just a blank page. Afterwards, the customer tried to reload the link, home page and other pages of my site but they all can't work. All pages are blank pages and no error message show out. The customer has to delete all the history and the cookies of the browser then he can enter the online shop. However, if customer goes back to the order process, enter the address and click "Proceed to check out", my site can't work again...every page of my site is blank page.... Please help...... -
Hello I would like to manage the order confirmation before customer pay. The process should look like this: 1. The customer confirms the order, selecting payment and shipment 2. The operators receive an email message containing the order request 3. Once verified the quantity available Operators modify the order in prestashop and confirm. 4. The customer receive an email confirmation of order, log into prestashop and pay the modified order. 5. The Operators receive an email message with the payment confirmation. How I can do it in prestashop ? Can you help me ? Best regards Ilya

Hi i'm working on a webshop for one of our customers, he's just starting his new online store, and asked me if it is possible in prestashop (1.6) to let customers order only if the customer address is within a radius of let's say for example 50km. I hope anyone has an idea how to accomplish this, or maybe a suggestion for a good prestashop 1.6 ready module to purchase for a reasonable price. I'm looking forward to any responses. -
Bonjour à tous, Je suis en 1.6.0.5 j'aimerais récupérer et afficher la valeur du champs 'adress_other' sur la page du choix d'adresse dans le processus de commande. Je ne comprends pas bien comment fonctionne le nouveau prestashop, et ne sait donc pas comment récupérer cette valeur. Je ne veux pas qu'elle s'affiche dans l'adresse, mais séparément en dessous. Est-ce que qqn peut me guider sur la manière de récupérer cette valeur 'adress_other'? merci -
Hello. I'd like to make some small cahanges in order process style ! I want to set smaller space between cart block and quick- checkout/new acount block. In default there was a space for big gray button called "continue shooping" second i want to set smaller white block of carrier ! And third if its possible I'd like to swap payment and carrier block ! Please give advice which css or tpl file i mus edit ! And which lines ! Thanks !

Hi. I use prestashop vers. 1.5.4.1. After Installing - deinstalling the google analytics module my order process isn't possible any longer. Order as a guest doesn't work any longer, payment options aren't shown any longer and by registration I got the error message 'invalid token'. Before installing (I just installed to see what informations are given) and deinstalling the google analytics module everything worked fine. What to do know? I need your help urgent. THANKS adeep -
My webshop sells 'slow' products. In other words; the products I sell have a low volume low frequency. Let's say 3 a month. For now I prefer getting in contact with possible buyers instead of pushing them through the complete sales funnel / order process. Is it possible to skip the order process and make the last call 2 action simple contact. Or a buy button wich results in contact? Later on I can imagine I want the full monthy so simply switching to an ordinary CMS with contentpages is not the solution. -

Hi, I'm pretty new to Prestashop and in the test phase of my shop. I've managed to a test order which is fine apart from the fact that the customer receives 2 order confirmation emails instead of one. One has all the correct details and one has the order details and addresses missing. Please can anyone give me an indication how this maybe happening and how to fix it. Below is an image of the email with the missing details and the other is a snapshot of the order statuses I have set up in BO. Thanks

Dear all, I'd like to disable the "One-page-checkout" function (under "Backoffice" --> "Preferences", see the screenshot which I found on the net). But for some strange reason this option is not there in my backoffice?!? This means that the one-page-checkout is enabled in my shop, but I can't disable it. Can anyone help me?
