I want to add the order number into the email recived when a new order is made. I tried to add a new line in the template_vars array '{order_number}'=> $order->id_order, and the call it from the new_order,html. But it is not working. Hallo mede Prestashoppers, Ik heb dit topic gestart om ervoor te zorgen dat hier alle best practices (Beste Oplossingen) kunnen worden geplaats over hoe je bijvoorbeeld ordernummers, factuurnummers, klantnummers etc kunt verhogen in je database. En deze dus automatisch te laten verhogen. Het ziet er namelijk erg suf uit als je als nieuwe klant een order plaatst op een site en als klantnummer 000001 krijgt en als nieuwe order 000010. Dit geeft namelijk niet echt een professionele uitstraling aan je site. Dus reply graag op dit topic met de oplossingen waarmee jullie deze problemen hebben getackeld. grolarja -
Since I have migrated to the latest version of Prestashop 1.5.4 from 1.4.9 My email templates have started to include the order_name eg. XWVZXTJPR instead of the order number eg #4328 Can someone please tell me what I need to change in the Email Template Translations html code for this to happen? At the moment it is displayed as {order_name} which is bringing back eg. XWVZXTJPR see attached screen grab

Hi, I need this feature built urgently. Change order number to be a random number on Prestashop 1.4.2.5 Description: Order numbers are presently system generated sequential numbers. This means that competitors can easily figure out the number of orders placed on the site. Can you modify this so that the order number is a random system generated number? Edit: I am also open to other solutions like the order number being a combination of DATE and some large number and so on. Please quote your price and time needed by messaging me. Thanks Sushma
