Hi! This is an odd one. I noticed that "{carrier}" is used in the order_conf.html email template and new_order.html email template and when emailed, shows the name of the carrier selected for the order. I'd like to include that info in a couple of other emails the customer receives when I update order status, including the shipped.html template. Well, I figured it would be as easy as typing in "{carrier}" just like "{shop name}" etc., but for some reason it doesn't work. I'm using PS 1.5.3, is there something I need to check or edit in order to be able to do this? Thanks in advance! Elaine -
Bonjour, J'utilise Prestashop en version 8.0.3 et il y a un problème avec la page de confirmation de commande. Lorsqu'un client commande plusieurs produits, qui ont chacun un transporteur imposé et différent, plusieurs commandes sont crées automatiquement avec des "id" différents et une "référence" identique. Le problème c'est que la page de confirmation de commande ne liste que le contenu de la dernière commande. Pour gérer les transporteurs imposés, je suppose que Prestashop a intégré directement le module développé par "Webkul" intitulé "Module Expédition par combinaison" qui lui, d'après le test que j'ai fais sur la démo du BO du module, liste bien les différentes commandes de même référence et associées aux différents transporteurs. Il manque sûrement un bout de code avec un "foreach" dans le fichier "\themes\classic\templates\checkout\order-confirmation.tpl" au moment de l'appel du block "order_confirmation_table". J'ai tenté de le faire seul mais je dois reconnaître que je coince, ne sachant pas à quelle variable faire appel. Au niveau de la page de confirmation de commande, "$order" ne stock que les informations de la dernière commande et "$cart" est vide. Le problème c'est que même si le client reçoit bien autant de mails que de commandes et qu'elles sont toutes bien visibles dans son compte, le fait qu'il ne voit pas une confirmation de sa commande qui soit identique au panier qu'il a validé 2min avant ne fait pas très sérieux et inquiétant. -
I have installed PS 1.6.1.0, I've got everything setup and working however I am facing an odd problem. When an order is placed and payment is taken the order confirmation via email and back office shows no product information in the order. All pricing, shipping and taxes are shown but there are no product details. If i go in to the BO and view Customers > Shopping Carts, the product information is visible here. I am using Realex payment module and to make sure it's not the module that's causing the problem I switched the payment option to COD (cash on delivery) and I experienced the exact same problem. The customer order confirmation (HTML) DOES show the product information and seems to be working fine but the PDF generated invoice does not show any product information at all. After viewing the error logs in the BO I get the following error: Frontcontroller::init - Cart cannot be loaded or an order has already been placed using this cart Can anyone shed some light on this issue? UPDATE - I just installed the PayPal module and I am getting the same problem although payment is still going through. -
Hello, I'm looking at adding Google Analytics e-commerce tracking to prestashop. However after looking into it I am unsure how to pass the order details (order ID, reference, product name, unit price, quantity etc). Is there a way to easily pass the data to the order_confirmation.tpl file? I found it strange that the order confirmation page doesn't display this data by default to the end user anyway. Any advice or point in the right direction will be great, thank you. p.s using PrestaShop 1.5.6.2

Bonjour à tous, Je n'arrive pas à trouver la Destination de la page de confirmation de commande de mon site ; c'est pour configurer un Goal dans Google Analytics afin de tracker la performance des ventes (transactions). J'ai configuré l'objectif sur CHIFFRE D'AFFAIRE et EFFECTUER UN PAIEMENT. J'ai activé aussi Ecommerce Enhanced. Par exemple, lorsqu'un client achète un produit par carte bancaire ou avec Paypal, il est redirigé sur le site avec une page qui récapitule la commande. Ce que je cherche à faire, c'est placer cette url dans Google Analytics pour obtenir des données sur les ventes. Le problème, c'est que l'url est différente selon la commande : voici l'url d'un achat test -> https://nomdusite.com/confirmation-commande?id_cart=XXXX&id_module=70&id_order=XXXX&key=numerodelacle Si je mets cette url dans Analytics, ça ne marchera pas bien sûr, parce que ça concerne uniquement 1 commande. J'essaie de trouver la destination qui prendra en compte toutes les commandes. Je me suis renseigné, d'autres personnes ont eu le même problème sur 1.6. J'ai mis pour l'instant /order-confirmation.php. Cela me fait une estimation de conversion 0.03%. Je pense que ce n'est pas la bonne Destination. Il y a eu depuis des ventes, et aucune donnée n'est disponible dans Conversions -> Commerce Electronique -> Performance des ventes Vous auriez la possibilité de m'indiquer comment je peux trouver la bonne destination ? Le site utilise le module de paiement Systempay. Si vous pouvez me renseigner, je vous remercie d'avance ! -

Hi , I need to add order total to my template but I can't figure out why it is not work. Template theme/xxx/templates/checkout/order-confirmation.tpl I print_r whole $order.details and see all variables what I want. So I try print required variables to page: {$order.details.payment} <- this works {$order.details.id_customer} <- this do NOT works {$order.details.total_paid_tax_incl} <- this do NOT works also All variables with no underscore character work good, all variables with underscore not works :( I need just add variable (total_paid_tax_incl) to theme page. Any advice ? thanks a lot guys -

Hi all, I'm setting up my site and I tried to place a test order paying with Paypal. The payment went fine but when redirected to my site to confirm the order some of the code is not showing in the right format (i.e. is showing as code). See screenshot attached. I'm using Prestashop v1.6.1.24 and PayPal v3.12.1 There was an old thread about this but it wasn't resolved. I did check what the author mentioned on the thread and I have {$paypal_cart_summary|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'} on order-summary.tpl If anyone could help would be great, thank you! Ignasi.

After the check out, the order confirmation displays the image of the first product to all products. We are using Prestashop 1.7.2. How do we fix this bug? -
Hello. A customer of mine has a few products created with some PDF attachments. Works fine, the Download tab shows for the current product, and the PDF's can be downloaded. Now, in the order confirmation email that the end user receive after having ordered this product, he really wants to link to this PDF attachment for the actual product that has been ordered. Or even attach the file directly in the order confirmation. Is this possible, and how? Thanks in advance. FL -
Hi there, i am working on this about 2 weeks and still couldn't find how to translate "free" text on this order confirmation page. Please help me about this. If there is no way to translate it, then its okay if i can remove that line, but still couldn't find that too.

Hi, I'm using Prestashop 1.7.3.3 and when we order some products they are not visible in the order confirmation mail. The amount is correct. It's in Dutch, but when i look into the /mail directory all templates are there. Who can help? Best regards Jurgen

Hello, I am facing the following problem (for a shop built with Prestashop 1.5.6.2) 1- Using Advanced settings > Emails > Use PHP mail function Sending the test email takes 3 or 4 seconds. The order confirmation takes more than 30 seconds or more (that, of course is not acceptable for the customer) In this case : The customer receives properly the order confirmation mail (order_conf.html) The merchant receives properly the order confirmation mail (through mailalerts.php) 2- Using Advanced settings > Emails > Set my own SMTP parameters Sending the test email takes less than 1 second. The order confirmation takes 2 or 3 seconds only (that is convenient for the customer) In this case : The customer receives properly the order confirmation mail (order_conf.html) But the merchant receives, only from time to time, the order confirmation mail (through mailalerts.php) 3- Of course, I got in touch with my web hosting, but until now, he was unable to solve the matter. His recommendation is to use the PHP mail function, but that leads to an unacceptable order confirmation time. Would you have any idea of the way to fix the trouble ? Hello all, I am trying to add the following on the order confirmation page (after payment), like this: First name: "customer first name" Last name: "customer lastname" Adress: "invoice address1" Postcode and City: "invoice postcode" "invoice city" I'm using Prestashop 1.7.4.2 with the default theme and modules. I have managed to add some variables in the "payment_return.tpl" file, but my knowledge on this matter is little, but I would like to learn how. Can anyone help me with a how-to on adding these items to the order confirmation page? Thanks a lot. -
How to change the subject of the order confirmation email received by the admin, each time an order is placed? I want to add the customer name, customer company, and customer city in the email subject. Kindly advise how to change the mailalerts.php file Do not confuse this with the order confirmation email the customer receives. -
Hi. We are having problems with order confirmations. We are using Prestashop 1.7.3.2 We get messages from the contact form ok, and when testing as a customer we received the order customer confirmation, but we are not receiving any confirmation of receiving a new order from the site. Any ideas

I am trying to adapt a module for review-opinion system to work with 1.7 The module was provided by the review service, but it is for 1.6. The module should be called on order confirmation page and send the order ID, customer email, and product list to the specified externar service. The first issue was The hook it was trying to attach to. "hookdisplayOrderConfirmation" The one tat seemed to be called during confirmation window was "hookdisplayOrderConfirmation2" so I changed that. But there is another issue, The module seems to be getting data from: $order = $params['objOrder'] objOrder seems to not exist, I see on the prestashop build notes that it was replaced by "order" But replacing it still gives me "Undefined index: order" error. Can anyone point me in proper direction how can this be fixed? The providers of original module told me to "contact the author of your store software" which is idiotic, but I kind of DO want to get that module working.

Hello Slovak legislatice require that into order confirmation must be attached doc (pdf) with "General terms and conditions". How I can attach this pdf (or other format) file into order confirmation email template which customer will receive after ordering? thanks

Hello! I'm just wondering where a customer can add his/her message about the order product etc... on order confirmation page There is no text box for it in quick-order??????? (It is about PS 1.7.2.4) please advise... but of course ps_emailalerts module html/text templates contains the message lines in the end: Customer message: {message}

I use PS 1.5.6.2 and if somebody clicks on the "Confirm order" button (after selecting payment type) the order confirmation page does not display on mobile devices (I use the default mobile theme) with Android Chrome and Firefox. It works correctly in PC browsers. What can be the problem, how can I debug it? -

Hello community, Does anyone know how to add information about product/attribute date_available to confirmation orders mail (order_conf.html) next to product name? I mean if customer ordered something and he is receiving confirmation mail with list of products bought that if some product has available_date different then 0000-00-00 or date is in the future from now, than this date is shown in email? I will be very happy if someone will tell me how to achieve this.
