Hi, I am using prestashop 1.4.8. I have around 80,000 images. Now i want to move these iamges into new storage system. So, can someone tell me how much time it will take to do that? What to do in case of server time out? and do i need to update my CDN? Do i need to rebuild the CDN after moving images to new storage system? I am using cloudfront? Please reply me ASAP. Before I realized it I had enough products and images on my site to go well over 12000 images. I noticed there was the option to move images: Move images PrestaShop now uses a new storage system for product images. It offers better performance if your shop has a very large number of products. Move images You can choose to keep your images stored in the previous system - there is nothing wrong with that. You can also decide to move your images to the new storage system: in this case, click on the \"Move images\" button below. Please be patient, this can take several minutes. After moving all of your product images, for best performance go to the product preferences tab and set "Use the legacy image filesystem" to NO. How does this work? Does it work? Unfortunately I cannot currently manually backup all the images because my host only allows 10000 files to be viewed through a FTP client. Will this new file system lessen the number of files per folder? Will it still be able to be backed up via FTP client? Will there be any problems if I have to upgrade to a new prestashop version? I am currently using prestashop version 1.4.9.0

Last night I was exploring ways to improve the speed of my website and one of the options recommended was to move images to the new document storage system by Prestashop, under preferences, images. after approx. 30 seconds I received an internal server error so I left to see if anything happened but there seemed to be no change. Today when playing on the site all my product images now show as error with no file attached, I have tried uploading a new picture to an item and it works. Is there any way I can fix this without having to go through each item and uploading a new picture. I saw there is A new storage system for product images called " Move images " so i tried it in my site as it instructed. However, photos of all items disappeared. there is ERROR message Error: some or all images could not be moved. i don't what happened, does anyone use move images before? do you have same problem? please help me to solve this, thanks, sorry for my English.
