Hello, i'm using a management software to export all of my products before I can upload them to Prestashop: since the title are getting wiped out at every upload (I know I can just ignore the title column, but I work for a pharmacy and products are constatly changing, so I add a lot of them every time) I'm using the meta tag. The product names from the management are ugly as hell (it's a kind of conventional code of abbreviation for pharmacies, where, for instance, "pills" are "PLL"): is there a way to let the customers display the meta title in place of the ugly product name? I attached a screenshot with highlighted ugly title and meta title (as under <head>) I already got the "meta title" written in its location, I just need prestashop frontend to display that instead of the product name... but when I analyzed the product page I found that there are two <title> tag, one in the head section (that's the meta title, which is what I want my customers to see) and the other one in the body section (the ugly one, but that I can't get rid of because it's automatically imported each time I run the cvs upload)

Ok, so I'm Creating a multi-store for my company. Basically we have a store that will sell overstock items to anyone (that one is open to the public - maybe 50 items). The other store is a wholesaler Store where our dealers will Log in and be able to purchase all 600+ products as well as the overstock items that appear in the overstock store. I set up a multi-store. The first store I set up has a URL of /shop in the root and it seems to be going great - it comes up, looks good, seems to work fine. The dealer store . . . that's a different story. It's a virtual URL that was created by Prestashop, but when I type in the address "http://www.exhart.net/shop/dealer" all I can see is the logo that I put in and none of the modules are store "parts" show up. I can see code when I view the source code from the browswer and if I type in a longer URL to get to specifics I can pull up bits and pieces, but no luck getting that store to show up like it should. Where can I start to look? Any ideas? BTW: I'm not a coder, but I've got people here who can translate your tech-talk. Thanks in advance for your help. Lane -
edit: module developed and working. Thanks. Hello all, I need someone skilled to make a mod to the cart rule module. Currently you can create a cart rule and in the "Conditions" tab set a minimum quantity of items. What I need is a customization to add a condition for a "maximum quantity" of items. After the maximum quantity is reached, then the discount in not applied to the remaining items, and they are priced regularly. For example, consider the case where I give a 50% discount voucher to the customers and I set a maximum quantity limit to 6 items for that voucher. Then if a user puts 8 of those items in the cart, and each item costs 10$, the total is: 6 * 10 / 2 + 2 * 10 = 50. That is he pays 6 items discounted and the remaining 2 items at full price. Who can make this mod for me? Thank you.

Hola, tengo un problema quería cambiar un texto del modulo blockcontact que indicaba el horario de atención al cliente. Lo primero que hice es buscar el modulo para configurarlo y me di cuenta que desde hay solo podía añadir un teléfono y un E-mail, y empecé a buscar en el foro, encontré este post http://www.prestasho...e-con-nosotros/ .De esta manera supe que era un problema de traducción y me dirigí a Localización>Traducciones y mi sorpresa fue que blockcontact no estaba para traducir. Fui a la ruta del modulo y me di cuenta que no tenia archivo .tpl para la plantilla que estoy utilizando pero en la ruta de la plantilla default si que tiene su archivo .tpl La pregunta es ¿a que se puede deber esto? ¿es normal que algún modulo no tenga .tpl? ¿reinstalando el modulo se solucionaría? Muchas gracias. -
As we wish to use the shopping cart not to sell product but to actually buy products from people offering a Buying Price and Trade in Price is it possible to show 2 prices. So that when a product is added to the shopping cart it shows Buying Price and next to it Trade in Price. And running total of Buying Price and Trade in Price at the bottom of the cart, Is this an easy modification as we need to be able to allow people to add to shopping cart and when they check out the list of product they have in there cart is what they are selling to us, or trading in, Thanks Dave -

I would greatly appreciate receiving any comments, thoughts or help on the subject.. Is it possible to make clickable logo in carriers? Now it is a uploadable picture and nothing else. What i need (and think- most of the rest)- a clickable link. U cklick and get more info, or get pop-up window, or dorway to the site of the carrier. So.. Think the easiest way- to use html. How to input pure HTML code in this field (or make HTML in the field of the text)? Eg i use this field for the description of the terms of carrier.. Presta cuts off all HTML tags, making it impossible to use (anger!!!) Pls find picture in attachment..

Hi, i need restrict currency's by countries. i need us customers to be able to shop only with the US dollars (paypal) and not see the rest of the currencies. And UK customers being able to pay only in GBP or Euro and not being able to see dollar prices. I was thinking to use 2 / 3 paypal modules and then restrict them by countries. I have no idea how to change the module that it will show in modules tab and make it working. if anybody have any idea how to do it i will happily pay for his effort;) please send me your offers to [email protected] thanks

Hello I am using Prestashop version 1.4.4.1 and PayPal module version v2.6 I would limit the use of PayPal transactions for certain values. For example, the module PayPal is listed only when the total order value is lower than $ 300. How can I do this? grateful
