Bonjour, Ma boutique est enfin en ligne (merci à tous sur ce forum de m'avoir aidé sur beaucoup de points !), tout fonctionne parfaitement, malgré quelques améliorations à apporter par-ci par-là. MAIS ! Certains utilisateurs de IE8 m'ont rapporté le problème suivant : lorsqu'elle veulent aller sur le site, celui-ci ne veut pas s'afficher et une pop-up indique : ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Nous ne sommes pas parvenus à vous faire revenir à knick-knack.fr Internet explorer a tenté de rétablir ce site web, mais il semble qu'un problème persiste avec le site. Effectuez l'une des opérations suivantes : - Atteindre la page de démarrage - Essayer de revenir à knick-knack.fr - Informations -------------------------------------------------------------------- Alors, c'est grave docteur ? Le problème vient-il de mon site, ou de IE8, ou de l'ordinateur des personnes concernées ? Merci d'avance. -
Hello, I'm testing a clean install of Prestashop 1.6.0.9 with the default theme (default-bootstrap). I'm having some problems with IE8 javascript, especially seeing products with combinations (only 2 options). Errors are related to Array functions not supported in IE8 like reduce, indexOf,.... I think I've solved it by adding this javascript library (https://github.com/es-shims/es5-shim/blob/master/es5-shim.js) in header.tpl, and modifying all the 'for' loops of products.js file in this way: //Syntax of loops that fails for (var i in tabParams) //Syntax of loops that do not fail for (var i=0; i<tabParams.length;i++) Now works in IE8 and Firefox without problem. IE8 shows high CPU usage for 2-3 seconds but without errors. I would like to know the opinion of experts, which implications may have these changes, and whether it could be interesting to add this changes to the next version of Prestashop. Thanks. -
Hey, I'm developing a custom Prestashop theme. My first time using Prestashop actually. I'm having a problem with BX slider (the homeslider module). It doesn't show up on IE8 unless you reisze the browser window. I tried applying a fixed height to the element with the class bx-wrapper, as someone suggested, but that didn't work either. I also found this fix: <div class="slide"><img src="images/your_image_name.jpg<?php if (strstr($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], "MSIE 8") > ""){ echo "?v=" . time(); } ?>" ></div> But I don't know how to implement it into smarty code. I attached a screenshot of how this bug looks in IE8 So, does anybody know a fix for this problem? EDIT: I also attached a screenshot of how it's supposed to look.

PS 1.6.0.6 and cross browser testing on IE8 (localhost and web hosting). Problem: Catalog filters (price, colour, size, etc.) keeps loading but nothing happen. Message: Unexpected call to method or property access. Line: 3 Char: 20137 Code: 0 URI: PS-ROOT-FOLDER/themes/default-bootstrap/cache/v_3_cee2a350144641de2f6031fe2d8eeb99.js This JS-file is "jquery-1.11.0.min.js" According to jquery.com, jQuery 1.X support IE 6+. So, jQuery 1.11 should support IE 8, right? Please advise. Thank you. Remark: 1. Not "blocklayered" file permission problem. 2. I manage a B2B website. Some companies and government entities still using IE8 / Windows XP (around 30%-40% traffic). Due to some reasons (company policy, budget, etc., they are difficult to update software / upgrade computer. So I have to make sure they can access PS1.6 on old version of internet browser.

Hi I have problem with Elation Liquid theme. In older Internet Explorer browsers - when I am opening some category page and moving to next page - then category is messed up. By default it is set up as grid - but then it is again list. And there is also impossible to move to next page. I discover this problem only with IE7 and IE8. From IE9 - everything is fine also with Firefox or Chrome. I also tried with CSS compression - but still the same. http://edrinks.ee/et/10-valged-vein - this is normal view. http://edrinks.ee/et/10-valged-vein#/page-2 - and here in second page - with IE8 - everything is messed up. All mayor theme modifications are made by theme developer - but several months already - we can't contact with him. Maybe I can get here some good hint - what to look.

I've got the problem that everyone else seems to have. My website doesn't display properly in internet explorer 7 or 8. it works fine in firefox and chrome. the product page is ok but the banners on the homepage are on the right instead of in the centre. which .css file do i need to edit? there are hundreds of them and i can't find the right one to add a hack. Can anyone tell me why my website fails to get an SSL padlock in IE when you go to the checkout page? It's great in Chrome, Firefox and Opera. I get an error message saying the page contains secure and unsecure items. I've used the website http://whynopadlock.com and everything checks out properly. There are no issues with images or Googlefont api's etc. I've briefly scanned the source of the checkout page and cannot see any difference between viewing the page with all content and the page with only secure content. The website is http://calligraphyarts.co.uk/shop - it's still being created... but I would like to get this IE SSL problem out of the way. Bonjour, Le site que j'ai développé sous Prestashop 1.5.2 s'affiche bien dans Chrome, Opera, Firefox, etc. et même IE 10 mais pas dans IE 8. Il manque notamment les couleurs de fond etc. J'ai essayé diverses solutions proposées sur le forum mais rien n'y fait pour l'instant. le thème utilisé est le thème par défaut Auriez vous une idée? Bueno empecé este tema por que se un poco de programación, pero no estoy del todo familiarizado con la estructura de prestashop. Propongo que desarrollemos un segmento de codigo o complemento para prestashop que permita activar el tema móvil por default en navegadores sin javascript ya sea con integración en el backoffice por medio de un modulo o con segmentos de codigo html o php para agregar a los archivos Si has desarrollado algún modulo de prestashop o quieres colaborar por favor ayuda -
This is a minor problem which I haven't been able to fix myself. I have adapted the default 1.5.2 template to allow 2 columns (center and right) with a product grid instead of a list. Everything works fine until the pagination apears. This works perfectly in Firefox and Chrome, but in IE the pagination buttons, and compare bar are not aligning on the same line. Also, the products 'new' tag is cut off. - The first screenshot shows the wrong alignment (IE9). I have gone through he global.css and even the associaed .tpl's but can't seem to put my finger on it. I believe it has something to do with the two columns I changed? - The second screenshot shows the correct alignment (Firefox) Does anyone have any suggestions or fixes? http://shop.stolenaccessories.com/14-bracelet-charms Much Appreciated, Andrew.

Guten Tag an die Prestashop-Nutzer! Ich bin neu in diesem Forum - also bitte um Entschuldigung wenn ich hier noch nicht alles so schnell finde. Trotzdem poste ich mal mein Problem - evtl. haben andere auch ein solches Phänomen festgestellt: - im IE8 kann ich keine Produkte mehr neu anlegen (vergessen: OS = XP 32Bit) Die Konfiguration habe ich in der Anlage dokumentiert. Ich hoffe, ich habe nichts Wichtiges vergessen ?? Ich würde mich freuen, wenn jemand eine einen Tipp für mich hätte .... mfg JM Problem1.pdf -

Hola a todos Tengo la versión 1.4.6.2 de prestashop instalada con un JQuery Nivo Slider 2.0 para una galería en la portada. Lo visualizo perfectamente en todos los navegadores salvo en el internet explorer 8 y 9, que no carga correctamente, no aparecen las flechas de navegación y la imagen sale cortada. Se puede ver directamente en http://www.sure-ibiza.com Alguien tiene idea de cual puede ser el problema? Muchas gracias. -

Muchachos y muchachas, tengo problemas con varias cosas que no sé si tendrán el mismo defecto en IE8. 1. Barra de búsqueda queda corrida de la posición con el botón Buscar. 2. Barra para introducir email para Newsletter, también corrida de la posición con botón "Enter". 3. Módulo Nivo Slider de Paolo Rivera v1.4 duplica las imágenes y botones, configuradas son 4 y en ie8 figuran por ejemplo la 1era y la 2da la misma, la 3era y la 4ta, etc... Gracias por tomarse el tiempo al menos para leer el post -

Salam, j'ai besoin de vos conseils je suis entrain de réaliser un site sur Prestashop, le site fonctionne bien sur Mozilla et chrome mais lorsque je l'ouvre sur internet explorer ie7 et ie8 je trouve qu'il y a pas mal de choses qui ne sont pas dans ses emplacements corrects quelqu'un peut m'aider pour résoudre ce problème et merci d’avance pour vos aides et vos conseils

Desde que instalé Prestashop 1.4 admito que he manoseado los php y css porque mi conocimiento es limitado, creo que esta es la razón por la cual mi página no carga en Internet Explorer. Hi, I have this blockcart on my theme but some how the position is always off to the bottom when load in IE8 or IE9. i have tried many changing the "DOCTYPE" but no luck. Hi all I'm using Prestashop 1.4.6.2 and I'm using a custom webfont from google. My problem is about ie8. One on the last steps in the checkout process is "Shipping". At this page there's "Terms of service" and right below a link which once clicked it will open up a modal popup with an iframe containing some text. Everything works fine here. But when I try to close this modal box the page loses the custom webfont, the default font comes up. This issue affects only original ie8 (in ie9 with ie8/ie7 mode enabled everything works fine). Any advise would be appreciated -
Issue: IE 8 wants to "save file" and wont open my shop website. All other browsers (IE9, Chrome, Safari, Firefox) open the website fine. I have a valid W3C Xhtml1.1 document with no errors or warnings. There are no special characters hidden in the doc either. IE8 just wont display my site, and wants to save file. I have deleted all files, did a fresh install of prestashop 1.6.4.2 with no theme and same problems. So I deleted files again and went back to version .1.4.4.1 whcih I have 2 other websites running with the same hosting provider. Same problem IE8 just wont display my site, and wants to save file. These are default installs with no themes or modification at all. I rang the host provider, they said they looked at everything, but could not help. I have changed providers and it worked first time. If anyone knows what might be going on I would appreciate the sharing of knowledge. Lots of frustrated hours on this one. -
My shop runs fine in Safari and Firefox, but for some reason, whenever I test the site in Internet Explorer, I run into an issue. I can add products to my cart, but whenever I navigate to a new page within my site, or refresh the current page, my cart empties. If I add a product, and then immediately click the "Cart" button on the shopping cart module, it takes me to my shopping cart page, but says that I have no items in my shopping cart. I'm running prestashop version 1.4 on Internet Explorer 8, and I'm using the original code in blockcart.tpl. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? La boutique marche parfaitement sous Chrome et FF. En revanche sous IE8, tous les produits munis de plusieurs déclinaisons sont affichés comme indisponibles (sur la page produit). Le bouton "ajouter au panier" disparait au bout d'une demi-seconde après l'affichage de la page, et est remplacé par le message suivant: "Disponibilité : Ce produit n'existe pas dans cette déclinaison. Vous pouvez néanmoins en sélectionner une autre." Pourtant les stocks de chaque déclinaisons sont bien pleins. Et le tout fonctionne parfaitement sous Chrome et FF.....
