Bonjour, je suis occupé de transférer ma boutique depuis OVH vers hostgator. j ai bien transferé tous les fichiers et la BDD, j ai modifié le fichier pour mettre les nouveaux identifiants de la BDD ainsi que son nom, en allant sur la boutique transférer il m indique une erreur 500 j ai donc mis true dans le fichier defines.inc.php pour voir les erreurs il me donné sa : ( la version du php est bien la 7.4 et le fichier .hatccess et vide ) Avez vous une solution ?? merci pour votre aide

Hi, I'm helping a friend escape from his current service support. This involved moving his existing Prestashop site to a new Host. I chose Hostgator because I already run several WP sites there. I followed all the on line instructions. 1) Corrected PS settings 2) Downloaded DB 3) Downloaded files 4) Created new DB/User/Password on Hostgater 5) Changed settings in settings inc 6) uploaded old DB to Hostagtor 7) deleted files from cache smarty 8) uploaded files to Hostgator Went to site. Immediately found SQL connection issue. Used HG support. They said there was an encryption error???? They made changes. Now when I connect I get a pur white screen. I try to connect to back office same white screen. Original call mumbled about hatches.php being empty Called again yesterday and was told that the files are propagating. After 24 hours still have white screen. Does anyone have any suggestions. Not yet migrated to 1.6. Tx Finlay

I used Hostgator's Quick Install feature to install Prestashop 1.5.6.2. Everything went fine except that the default country is US and I need it to be Canada in order to have the correct tax configuration. I imported the localization pack for Canada but that didn't import any tax rules. Is there a way to re-configure my already installed shop so that it resembles how it would have appeared if Canada was selected as the default country during installation?

I want to let the people know the scams that are happening on Hostgator: I have a shared account with a couple of sites on it, including a Prestashop based one. After trying like ten times to update some stuff on my site with a csv import on Prestashop's Backoffice, i received the "error 500" message each and every time i tried to update. Important notice: my csv file has 4 rows, and 2 columns!!! Here is part of the reply of the support ticket: What are they saying? That for a 4 rows and 2 columns csv file i need a VPS? I totally hate Hostgator! What about you?

I uploaded 1.5.0.17. I ran the install in IE 9 everything checked out except at the final step at 0% x Create settings .inc file “An error occurred during installation...” I am running PHP version 5.2.17 with FastCGI on a dedicated windows server at Hostgator. I tried deleting the files and downloading again but got the same results. I tried it using Firefox and Chrome. Same results. How can I complete the installation?

Hi there! i am new here so sorry if my question is already answered in the past. Here is the situation, i bout a domain in godaddy.com, and my hosting at hostgator. i tried installing prestashop at my cpanel in hostgator(both manual and quickinstall), then went to the prestashop link given to me: "www.mydomain.com/folder", and all i see is a godaddy index. did i miss any step on installing? or did i do something wrong? HI Everyone, I need assistance setting up my shop. have installed using QUICKINSTALL for now with HOSTGATOR. have gotten the SHARED SSL secure address from HOSTGATOR for using their shared SSL. my problem now is that, any pages that load in HTTPS all the formatting is gone. and pictures disappear as well. my site is www.printoutlet.com.au i've just got the default store at the moment for testing before i purchase a template. if you add an item to the cart and then check out you will see what I mean. all the formatting and styles are gone. even when i log into the admin area in HTTPS, it's the same. does anyone have any suggestions or is able to help ?
