Hello, The bug described in the title affects some customers and not all. After research I think that the problem comes from the size of the cookies which grow too quickly after each product page visited. I read that if the size of the cookies exceeds 4000, bugs start to appear. Each visit to a product page increases the size of the cookie by about 30. My question is: how to make the main cookie size not increase so quickly ?

Hi community, i have a weird problem with keeping products in cart after logout/login. I started with PS 1.7.6.3 updated to 1.7.6.5 and finally to 1.7.7.1 (PHP 7.3.26). Since 1.7.7.1 products in carts are not being kept, but only for customers which are added since PS 1.7.6.5. I have two customers that where added in 1.7.6.3 and their carts persist between sessions. I looked at ps_customer table but all values of a new testcustomer and the 'working customer' are the same 🤔 In ps_cart i can see the cart with id_customer which is the one from testcustomer. Even secure_key is the same in ps_cart and ps_customer. But why doesn´t the old cart get loaded - instead a new one is created in ps_cart. PS: Yes 'Re-display cart' is activated / changed PHP back to 7.2 didn´t help Any ideas someone? thy hamsta -
Hi, When I create an order using a customer's abandoned cart (sometimes we do it to help customers), when I send the link to the customer to show the products cart, the customer finds it empty! The order is created without problems, but this situation does not make navigation on the site friendly. More information: when I click on the link to verify, the cart has the products inside, while the link sent to the customer email shows an empty cart. Thanks for any reply. B. -

Hi all ! I'm trying to import some products to my prestashop using REST webservice. The problem is when I try to add a product to an empty category I created using webservice or using PS web interface, I get the following response: <error> <code><![CDATA[135]]></code> <message><![CDATA[You cannot set a position greater than the total number of products in the category, minus 1 (position numbering starts at 0).]]></message> </error> It occurs with the first product. If I add it via web interface and I add the others using webservice, it works. XML: I've already read this topic http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/347750-solvedcant-add-product-to-empty-category-using-webservice/ but the solution is not really a solution so does anyone have an idea about this issue ? For some reason I'm getting a weird bug, I get a blank product in the "New Products" module and page, and that product is nowhere, none of my products is empty like that. I'm using Prestashop 1.7 and I talked to the theme creator (theme: MegaShop, Creator: templating) and he says it is not related to his theme (so he won't support me on this). Hello. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it very much. I upgraded to version 1.7.5.2 using the oneclick module. Everything works well in the frontend. I can see the extra modules of my template in the backend but I am not able to see the prestashop modules in the backend. Thanks a lot.

Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich herausfinden kann, in welcher Variable der Wert Lagerbestand gespeichert ist? Hello I have a problem with creating PDF files for my orders. I have large orders ( for example: 950 positions ) and my PDF files not contain positions . Whole table with order positions is invisible - doesn't exist in PDF file. Server logs - clear. Any ideas ?

Hello, in my Prestashop 1.7.3.3 all returning customers will see an empty shopping cart even if they put items in it the last time they logged in. I can see those carts as "abandoned" in the cart list. Is this a known problem? Who has any solution or even a hint what or how I can investigate further. Thanks in advance!

Hello Prestashop-users, This is my first time at this forum and i have a problem which i cannot solve. After removing some products and sub-categories suddenly all the products are reduced with 10 euro. The products which were reduced before by myself are also changed in the same reduction of 10 euro. The price rules in Prestashop is empty, there is no special price rule. Can somebody please help? (using PS 1.6.1 -
Hello everyone. Is there any module that can change the screen of the cart when there is no product in it to something like this? I translate from Greek: "My cart" "Your cart is empty..." "Not for long though. We are sure than you can find something between our 10.000+ home products" "See suggestions". Did a search but couldn't find anything.

Hello everyone. So, here it is a new bug we found out in PS 1.6.1.17. Basically, when an user logins and goes into his Order History page in the Account Panel, meanwhile, into the Back Office, PS states he has an empty cart and, as a collateral effect, the follow-up module sends a discount email for abandoned cart. How to avoid PS noticing empty cart when the user is just looking into his Order History? Let me know.

when I add product and process to check out or refresh page cart 'empty'. i did this solution - clear browser cache and cookies - no results, clear ftp cache - no results, disabled ajax in module blockcart - no results, please help me.

Hello, I'm using the Newsletter block in prestashop 1.6.1.6 and while everything else works fine, verification, confirmation and welcome voucher emails arrive empty. Only subject and the e-shop logo (as attachment) appear, but no text. I've checked the email files in both supported languages and everything seems fine. All other email notifications work fine as well. Any ideas? Cheers, Yannis -
Hello everybody, i am trying to make the dni (identification number) not mandatory for the countries where is enabled. The purpose is to allow for recording either empty values or valid values only. So changing the code of the address.tpl i managed to show the text field and it is not mandatory, so it can be left not filled in. But when i post i real value inside, the record is not send to database and it is not recorded. So i have decided to make it another way. I have made one custom additional public function in the Tools.php file that checks the value of the field dni, only if it is not empty: public static function getIdentValue($key, $default_value = false) { if (strval($key) != null && !empty($key) && strval($key) != '') { $ret = (isset($_POST[$key]) ? $_POST[$key] : (isset($_GET[$key]) ? $_GET[$key] : $default_value)); if (is_string($ret) === true) $ret = urldecode(preg_replace('/((\%5C0+)|(\%00+))/i', '', urlencode($ret))); return !is_string($ret)? $ret : stripslashes($ret); } else{ return true; } and also changed the code inside AdminAdressesControler to make the check of the value through this custom function in Tools: if (Country::isNeedDniByCountryId(Tools::getValue('id_country')) && !Tools::getIdentValue('dni')) $this->errors[] = Tools::displayError('The identification number is incorrect or has already been used.'); But still the check is not successful and if i left the field empty, an error is raised and does not allow me to save empty value in the db. Even after clearing the cache - deleting class_index. Same result. So i have decided after all to skip the logic of dni empty value check directly before this check in Tools.php and have added additional emtpy value check directly before the Tools check in the AdminAdressesControler. So here is like it looks like: if (Country::isNeedDniByCountryId(Tools::getValue('id_country'))) if ((strval('dni') != '') && (strval('dni') != null)) { if (!Tools::getValue('dni')) $this->errors[] = Tools::displayError('The identification number is incorrect or has already been used.'); } So it should avoid the check from the Tools::getValue function if the field 'dni' is empty. But actually it does check it and an empty field could not be recorded. So i have made a change in the message error : "The identification number is incorrect or has already been used" raised by this function, so i can see where the message is raised from. Surprisingly the message error when i have tried to save an empty dni field didn't change. the controller in in override/controlers/admin, so i have deleted the cache, but still the same result. So it means that there is also another function that checks the field dni and i do not know where it is. Can you please inform me how can i make this field enabled for unique dni numbers and empty values also. I have check the table in the database, where the field dni is allowed to be null, or whatever - it is even not unique field. -
Hi, I am currently installing the new 1.5 Prestashop, the upgrade from 1.1 failed, so I am now building the shop from zero to hero As usual this is not easy while problems stop me from continuing the nice work. What I encounter at the moment is the cart. I cannot add more than one product in some browsers like Google Chrome or the Android Browser or Firefox.... and when I check the cart... it is empty. Hi, I have some issues with the products in home page. I followed this tutorial to set the category as my landing page: http://mypresta.eu/en/art/developer/category-page-as-landing-page-of-your-prestashop.html First try, everything works fine, i can associate my products with the home page in my BO and i see them correctly in the front end. Then i try to migrate the website from localhost to my domain,( exporting and importing the database with phpmyadmin) and the home page turns empty. I did the same process on a new version of PS in local (so again with the database cloned with phpmyadmin) and nothing the list in home page is empty. Do you guys have any ideas of the cause? -
Hi, Using Prestashop version 1.5.6.2 on one site and 1.5.6.1 on another. Both sites have the same issue. I have two multistore websites using Prestashop and have just found there is a problem in the mobile version of the shopping cart. When anyone adds an item to the cart, the site will just go to an empty cart as seen in the attached screenshot (from my mobile phone). The item can only be seen if you switch back to the desktop site. I know the mobile carts were working a few weeks ago until I updated from 1.5.4.1 to these latest versions. I have disabled the mobile theme on one site for the time being as it has a responsive theme ( but really need the mobile theme for phones), but the fault can still be seen on http://vsoc.org.uk/vsoc_shop/vsoc_merchandise/ and on http://vsoc.org.uk/vsoc_shop/vsoc_join/ Is there a fix? Bonjour, Avant tout, je précise que je suis nouveau dans Prestashop. J'ai installé la version 1.6.0.5. Alors voilà, j'ai créé un nouveau profile de permissions avec beaucoup de droits que j'ai nommé "Manager". Je l'ai attribué à un nouvel employé. (Je n'ai que 2 employés (compte par défaut compris). En utilisant le compte de cet employé, lorsque je vais sur le tableau de bord du backoffice avec les permissions du profile "Manager", le tableau de bord est vide (aucun graphique, aucun contenu). Si je change les permissions de cette employé en lui attribuant le profile par défaut "SuperAdmin" et que je retourne sur le tableau de bord, tous les graphiques apparaissent. Dans le menu des persmissions, toutes les cases de l'item "Tableau de bord" sont cochées pour le profile "Manager". Je sais pas si cela à de l'importance, mais le site n'est pas encore en ligne. J'en suis aux derniers réglages avant de rentrer les articles. Le mode Démo est encore activé. J'ai rien trouvé sur le net au sujet du tableau de bord. Merci d'avance pour votre aide précieuse. -
Hi all I'm having a "small" issue - well it's more annoying than a real issue. When a customer completes his order - the basket still shows "content" on the confirmation page. However as soon as you go to the start-page or any other page - the basket module is "refreshed" and empty - as it should be. Is there any way to "reload" the basket module/block on the confirmation page? It almost seems like it's not the entire page that's being refreshed to show the confirmation page. The order is completed just like it should - no problems there... so it's only a visual "bug" that it seems like the basket still has content although it's actually empty. Attached image shows the confirmation page. We're using "Universal payment" module since it's a B2B shop only that needs several different "credit" payment options. Best regards - Rasmus
