I preferred to post my bug on the English forum to have a little more visibility. I did some research to find if anyone had reported this bug but couldn't find anything about it. Procedure: Product with a personalization text field, 2 combinations (color and size for example). I put the captured video directly to you, it will be easier than writing (the first) I end up with a double field. I am locally in version 1.7.8.7, clean installation. ---------------- Originally, it was not this bug that I wanted to report but another one. The procedure is similar but with 3 attributes. With the difference that instead of having the products with the duplicate personalization in the cart, I only had one personalization and if I continued the order, at the backend level, I only had one customization instead of 2. J’ai fait des recherches pour trouver si quelqu’un avait signalé ce bug mais je n’ai rien trouvé à ce sujet. Procédure : Produit avec une champs texte de personnalisation, 2 déclinaison (couleur et taille par exemple). Je vous met directement la vidéo capturé, ce sera plus simple que d’écrire. Je me retrouve avec un champs double. Je suis en local en version 1.7.8.7, installation toute propre. --- A l’origine, ce n’est pas ce bug que je voulais déclarer mais un autre. La procédure est similaire mais avec 3 attributs. A la différence qu’au lieu d’avoir les produits avec la personnalisation en double dans le panier, je n’avais qu’une seule personnalisation et si je continuais la commande, au niveau du backend, je n’avais qu’une seule personnalisation au lieu de 2. Hello, For integrity reason, I made the 'reference' column UNIQUE in ps_product table. As a consequence , when I duplicate a product I have en error because the new product has the same reference as the original one. Is it possible to change something in code, so that the reference field is not copied. Thank you in advance. -
Bonjour, Je cherche à savoir si il est possible de dupliquer un produit sur 1.7 sans les images? Actuellement je duplique le produit, mais presta ne me demande pas si je souhaite dupliquer avec ou sans les images comme auparavant sur la 1.6. Est-ce normal? Comment faire pour ne pas dupliquer les images? Voici ma version: 1.7.2.0. Merci pour votre aide. -
Hello everyone! I need some help please... I want to create a subdomain for my website (PS 1.7.5) and copy all the files there and then do some theme modifications through custom.css files. But I need to keep the same database connected for the new subdomain and my main domain. Is this possible? Any ideas are appreciated. -
I'm seeing multiple products with the same ID in the backend after upgradeing from 1.6.22 to 1.7.51. In 1.6 i added this fix (solution from here) to AdminProductsController.php by replacing this: $this->_use_found_rows = false; $this->_group = ''; with this: $this->_use_found_rows = true; $this->_group = 'GROUP BY '.$alias.'.id_product'; In 1.7 these two lines no longer exists, so I wonder if theres another way to fix the duplicate issue?

My client was having trouble with duplicate orders that had the same order ID in the Orders view. The receipts would have an order ID with a suffix "#1" and "#2". If the order had two products, the products were split between the orders. The payments weren't split, there was just one transaction. In this case it was caused by the advanced stock management. It seems that a product MUST be assigned to a stock, or otherwise no delivery method is available at the cart. ANYHOW, if you add two products in cart where the other product has been assigned to a stock and the other one is not, it was possible to finish the order, but the products were split to two orders. I assigned all the products to the main stock with CSV, and everything seems to work now. I wanted to share the problem I had if it helps some other people too. Prestashop version is 1.6.1.9. -
Hello, I am using CSV import to update my product database, which is quite large (2500+ products). My csv has a field for image URL. If I choose to import without deleting existing images, I end up with duplicate images for all products. But if I choose to delete existing images, and that there is no image URL in my database (if I added the image by hand from back-office for exemple), the existing image is still deleted (even though it is not replaced by anything). Is there an option to ask that if there is an image URL in the csv file, then the old image is deleted and the new one used instead, but if there is no image URL, then keep the old image. Thanks a lot

Hello, i want to add more products to my shop but anytime i choose my last product to duplicate it, i get this error 500 message. Does anyone know how to solve it? Thank you in advance.

We switched payment processors to PayPal and have tried four (4) different PayPal modules. PayPalPay v1.3.9 built into Prestashop by PrestaShop partners PayPalStandard v2.0.18 by WebDevOverture PayPalPro v1.0.0 by Addons4Presta PayFlowPro v 1.0 by eGrove Systems All of them give us random double and triple orders that show up in both the Prestashop back office AND in PayPal. I've tried the modules as stand-alone and in various combinations, no change. All of the module developers say their modules are working as intended... We are having to issue scores of refunds for these double and triple payments and our members are pissed... We are using Prestashop 1.6.1.24. No custom themes or modifications to the stock Prestashop install. PayPal say's it's not their problem as they process what they are sent from Prestashop. We "never" had this issue with Authorize.net but we needed to offer multiple foreign currencies so tried moving to PayPal. So far it's been a HORRIBLE experience. The orders show up within a second of each other so unlikely that's it's someone hitting the order button due to lag. ANY suggestions? RORY

hi, i have a issue with product duplicating , as ecommerce store we have large amount of products to list on site, so we wants that the system prevent the saving of any new product entry that already had the exact same name or reference no./ SKU added before. also prestashop let us to create duplicate categories, attributes and features also. its so tedious to search and confirm every time before entering new data. in tally if we try to add product with same reference no. it promptly alert us for repeated id, and cant allow us for reentry the same number again. as this problem is not affect on us only , many more peoples facing this kind of issue. please guide or solve this issue. issue reference links. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46497861/how-can-i-prevent-saving-products-duplicated-by-name-in-prestashop

Hello, I'm loading the products via the PrestaShop CSV import. The products I load have various combinations of color / size and then in the file "combinations_import.csv" for each variant I add the various images that interest me. Once the file has been imported if I go to visualize a product inside the Front-end I will be visualized more times the images of each variant when (in my case) for the same size the image will be actually the same (it changes only for color). The "problem" vanishes when I click on a color because it only loads the images associated with it, but if I press on "show all images" it reappears again. If I go from the Back-end I see that the same images have been uploaded several times by variant. N.B. I'm using PrestaShop to version 1.6.1.23 N.B2. View attachments

Hi everyone, I am here using Prestashop 1.7.4.1 in order to get a ticketing. So I changed some tpl files until I get every categories view duplicated vertically. Here is an exemple : https://billetterie.zoomdici.fr/presta/12-concerts Scroll down and you'll see the same view (with a little difference). If someone can tell me what is the tpl file that may create this lagg that would be nice. I also asked on the french forum but no one answer me 😢

PrestaShop version 1.7.4.4 I want to make a theme. I duplicate the classic theme and edit the settings yml with no results. Same situation with the starter one via github. Specifically the error indicates that the theme is not available with PrestaShop 1.7 What the hell is going on? -
I have a weird issue on my PS website, it happened already four times in a short period of time (20days) that we get weird results on order list. The issue is that two orders get created at the same exact time up to seconds (all i can see from db/order list) but with the same order reference. Two happened from PayPal, one from NexiPay and one from COD (Cash On Delivery). All of them (duplicate speaking) have different order total, and those with paypal/nexi even have the same payment transaction. I can't seem to find a way to reproduce this in my local environment and i can't spam tests on my production website. Are my customer little wizards or is this a PS bug? See screenshots below for examples Both of the orders has this payment detail (exactly the same!) Interesting thing is that the registered payment is the sum of the two orders minus one shipping cost for one order (as for my shop configuration above 40€ it's free shipping) SOFTWARE VERSION: Prestashop: 1.7.4.2 (migrated form an old 1.6.x if it can help understand something with MigrationPro) Theme: warehouse 4.1.7 Nexi XPay: 3.1.0 from "Nexi Payments SpA" COD+: 1.5.9 from "PrestaHost.eu" PayPal: 4.4.2 from "Prestashop"

Hello, Running version 1.6.1.17 I'm a little confuced. I hoped duplicating a product, that is available in 4 stores, in multistore would be like: Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 1 description Old product, Store 2 description -->> New product, Store 2 description Old product, Store 3 description -->> New product, Store 3 description Old product, Store 4 description -->> New product, Store 4 description Instead I see: Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 1 description Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 2 description Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 3 description Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 4 description Basically for the new product, description (also short description, seo title, seo desciption) are all taken from Store 1, instead of copy from store 1 to store 1, from store 2 to store 2 …. etc.. Seems like an odd behaviour. Is this rght?

Bonjour à tous, je rencontre un problème SEO avec le shop que je gère en deux langues, français et allemand. En effet les produits vendus sont des bouteilles de vins, et ce sont des produts qui ont le même nom dans les deux langues, et donc les même h1 et même balise title. J'utilise ahrefs.com pour tester mon shop et tous les h1 et les titres de page détails ressortent comme dupliqués. De plus, les index de catégories en allemand et en français sont considérés comme des contenus dupliqués car pas assez de différences. Avez-vous une solution à me proposer pour remédier à ce problème ? J'ai regardé du côté des balises hreflang mais je ne suis pas sur que ça résolve mon problème (et pour le moment je n'ai pas réussi à récupérer les urls produits par langue...) Is het mogelijk om 1 item bijvoorbeeld 40 keer in 1 keer te duplicaten? Moet het echt 1 voor 1? Mass edit is super maar pas nadat je alle items heb geselecteerd. Dus nu toch steeds eerst 1 voor 1 een item duplicaten. Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat iedereen dat zo doet? Maar tot nu krijg ik te horen dat het niet mogelijk is wat ik zou willen. alvast bedankt.

Is it possible to duplicate 1 item for example 40 times in 1 time? Does it really have to be 1 for 1? Mass editing is super but only after you have selected all items. So now always first 1 for 1 an item duplicates. I can not imagine everyone doing this like that? But until now I have been told that it is not possible what I would like. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I have a production version which runs normally on prestashop v1.7. I would like to copy that version and make it work on my local computer using wamp server. I tried a lot of things, searching for a lot of posts and I still don't manage to get it work Here is what I did : Common to my 2 techniques tried (see below) : I installed wamp server I created a database for mywebsite and filled it with my production database I changed the domain in ps_configuration and ps_shop_url to localhost and also changed the directory in ps_shop_url I updated the app/config/parameters.php file to set my db name, user and password I emptied the cache from app/cache 1st technique tried I copied all my files from my hosting server to my wamp/www folder I deleted the .htaccess file at the root my folder When I try to access to http://localhost/mysite/adminpro (adminpro is my admin folder name) I got a ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED... Same result for http://localhost/mysite. 2nd technique tried I explain below that I managed to get a fresh prestashop work on local. I erased all my folder in mysite directory except the adminpro folder I copied all folders from my fresh prestashop to mysite folder except the admin folder I updated the parameter.php file for the db connection When I try to access to http://localhost/mysite/adminpro I get a blank page and when I try to access to http://localhost/mysite I get an error 500. Please notice that I also tried a normal installation of a fresh prestashop and it works fine so my wamp seems ok with prestashop. I don't know what I missed and I am getting desperate about it Thanks a lot for your help !

Witam, Podczas wyszukiwania produktów czasami zdarza się błąd : Duplicate entry '7062-2109-1' for key 'PRIMARY' INSERT INTO `ps_page_viewed` (`id_date_range`, `id_page`, `counter`, `id_shop`, `id_shop_group`) VALUES ('2109', '7062', '1', '1', '1') Problem doświadczam tylko w przeglądarce Firefox. Po odświeżeniu już strony produktu problem nie występuje. Korzystam z modułu JoliSearch Próbowałem również wyczyścić tablicę ps_page_viewed lecz to nic nie dało. Dziękuję z góry za pomoc. Bonjour à tous, J'ai installé récemment une boutique prestashop 1.7.2.3 pour un ami et ne suis pas expert en développement. Les problèmes sont les suivants sachant que je suppose qu'ils sont liés et qu'il s'agisse d'un problème de requête pour les bases de données (supposition car je ne suis pas expert en développement) : Nous avons crée des produits avec une vingtaine de déclinaisons et un impact sur le prix qui varie en fonction de ces attributs (exemple : 10cm =3.20€, 15cm=3.90€(+0.70)....) Le 1er bug : Lorsque nous saisissons un impact sur le prix inférieur à 1.00 € et que nous enregistrons le produit, nous avons l'impression que l'enregistrement est fait. Nous faisons un nouveau produit et revenons pour consulter le produit précédemment crée, l'impact sur le prix inférieur à 1.00 € repasse à 0.00 €. Pour les impacts sur le prix supérieurs à 1.00 €, aucun souci. La solution que j'ai trouvé (bricolage) est que lors de la création du produit, il faut cocher la déclinaison et modifier l'impact sur le prix avec les actions groupées. Ce qui valide le prix inférieur 1.00 €. Imaginons nous avons 150 produits à saisir, bonjour les manipulations. Le 2nd bug : Lorsque l'on réalise une duplication d'un produit avec ces déclinaisons, la duplication se réalise bien excepté pour une déclinaison dont l'impact sur le prix est inférieur à 1.00 €. Le module passe automatiquement l'impact sur le prix à 0.00 € après la duplication. Il faut de nouveau effectuer la mise à jour du produit avec les actions groupées pour que cela soit définitif. Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée svp ?

Hola!! Llevo muchos días con el mismo problema y no sé como solucionarlo. No consigo duplicar un producto con la imágen. Prestashop me da error de duplicado, me dupica el producto, pero no la imágen. A alguien le ha pasado o mismo? Como lo habéis solucionado? Gracias! Saludos, -
