My shop is based in Cyprus (EU) and my base currency is the €. The module accepts all coutries in the Eurozone but as soon as I try to expand the list of countries by adding the USA, UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, etc., I get a pop up that says ''Your products could not be synchronised with Google at the moment. Please try later''. Did anyone else have this problem? Are the different currencies causing it? Thank you.

Hi, Do you know plugins that would make all these options possible? We need to run a store that 28 locations: 1. Has several warehouses. Each country has its own warehouse, and its own stock level. 2. Customers from a given country can buy products only from a warehouse in that country. They can not access orders in other countries. 3. Each country has its list of orders. So the seller of country X does not see orders from country Y 4. Each country will have its language version. 5. Prices, taxes, displayed currencies can be different in each country Thank you for your help

Hi all, I wonder if you can help me. I'm trying to set a postage/shipping cost per item. After a bit of searching, I realized that if I set all ''carrier'' parameters to 0, then I could go to ''Additional Shipping Cost'' on the specific product page, enter a value (eg. £6), and then only that value would be used as a shipping cost. My problem is, I want to do this, with different values for different regions. For example, one type of product I sell is a t shirt. I want the shipping cost of a t shirt WITHIN the UK to be £6.00. Within Europe/The E.U £10.25 and to the US/WORLDWIDE - 12.60. Is there any way I can set the shipping cost per product (like I have done with ''Additional shipping cost''), but add additional values for the EU and the US? I tried creating a new carrier, then adding a new ''additional shipping cost'' value and selecting the carrier, but you can only have ONE 'additional shipping cost' value. I basically wonder if there is any way I can do this? Please let me know. Thanks very much.

I am not able to enable Italy as a country

Ciao a tutti, Prestashop 1.6 e ecommerce in settato con tutti i parametri in inglese. Ho anche scaricato il language pack per avere tutto in inglese. Ciò nonostante se un utente si registra vede le voci del campo COUNTRY in italiano. Come posso risolvere? Grazie

Is there is a way to enable both USA zip code formats (5-digit and 9-digit) in PS 1.5.3.1? In the Localization > Countries section in the BO I tried removing the default NNNNN ("No verification if undefined") for the USA hoping that might allow either format, but in testing this in the FO I got an error message telling me "Zip/Postal code is invalid. Must be typed as follows:" (and it was just blank after the "as follows:" text). So that didn't work. It is forcing me to use 5 digits regardless. And of course, changing it to NNNNN-NNNN forces you to use all 9 digits. I tried to follow along with this post here but they lost me at "overrides", plus the code might not be the same in 1.5 anyway, so I have no idea how to even try that workaround. But from what I can tell, allowing a wildcard (NNNNN*) at least would be ideal, and for UK postal codes as well. I'm not a developer so I need would some guidance for what files to change, and also what code I would need. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance! ~ Elaine

Certain brand's that I carry, do not allow to sell to certain countries. How to prevent certain countries from purchasing products from certain manufacturers?

I have had a Prestashop install running for several years and understand how the shipping works. I have come up against a real show stopper though. I wanted to use 'Zones' to setup different shipping prices for different parts of my country as 'States' are not supported by the shipping tables. To simplify things I deleted all existing 'Zones' and 'Countries' and re-populated them with what I wanted. Ever since I did that I can not get my shipping working again, I have (numerous times): - Deleted all and made a new 'Zone' - Made a new 'Country' that belonged to the 'Zone' - Made new 'Carriers' that ship to the'Zone' - Made new 'Weight ranges' - Filled out the price tables that link carriers and 'Weight ranges' - Ensured that my 'Warehouse' can ship with the new 'Carriers' However so far when ever my test client tries to check out they get "No carriers available for the address "My address".". Is it possible by deleting 'Zones' and 'Countries' initially I removed a default somehow? Somewhere I have a logic gate that is tripping the wrong way but have no way to tell where. I would really appreciate any help, including how to debug this at a code level if necessary. Edit: I'm running 1.5.3.1 :-)

Hi everyone! I have a real problem. I have set up my site and it is practically live now, woohooo! Buzzing. But I have one real problem before I can really get going. Shipping.... By Place. I currently have 1 carrier set up for all areas of the UK to deliver at £ 10. Flat fee on the order total. So £ 10 for anything right? But our carrier charges different rates for where it is going to in the country. How the hec would I set this up for the UK? There are loads of States set up but are all USA states? Hi Guys, When I updated PS to 1.6.1.7, all countries and languages (except for English) were disabled. I reenabled everything and all seems well. You might want to check the update scripts. Cheers, Tom

Has anyone else run across this problem: A user on my site can ship to Puerto Rico from the US using the US Postal Service if they say they are in the US and Puerto Rico is their state, but they cannot use UPS this way. If they say Puerto Rico is the country where they want to ship to (not the state), then they can use UPS, not USPS. Anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks! Lynnette

When i installed Prestashop i choose my native languages instead of english (damn me!!) since Prestashop state: "This language is just for the installation, you will be able to change it later on." Not really true. Then i added other two languages, set as default, set as language to use for my back office and front office, set as default language for the user, ... Everything seems translated BUT NOT The initial data (like sample products ) given from prestashop installation. Those are still in the language used to install presta. Now, products aren't a big deal (they have been all replaced) BUT pages like 404 and Countries are! When my user register and find the "Select your country" dropdown, this is still in first language!! Can someone please point me where i can change this??

Hi i have a question that is: I have a Multistore site and i want to know how to add cities and areas per per state? Country state1 -city1 --area1 -city2 --area1 --area2 or how to do that like this example site http://www.e-food.gr select location.

Hola todos, estoy creando mi tienda la cual va a vender a clientes de cualquier pais del mundo pero los desacphos solo se realizaran a las diferentes ciudades de Colombia. Me he quedado atrapada en este punto, ya que necesito tener abilitados todos los paises para que los clientes se puedan registrar y realizar sus pagos, pero cuando voy a crear los transportistas solo me da la opcion de colocar las tarifas de transporte por kilo para las zonas que ya tiene preconsevidas que son los diferentes Continentes, si alguien me podria ayudar a aclara este punto lo agradeceria enormemente. Yo requiero que cuando ingrese a crear un transportador me de la opcion de darle las tarifas por kilo a cada una de las ciudades pero solo dentro de mi pais que es COLOMBIA. Quedare muy antenta a quien pueda darme una manito con esto. Saludos. Paula

Hi !, I am planning to open a prestashop website with the following requirements: - prices are modified, depending on visitor's IP / country. - special prices for certain type of users ( already registered ), which will have another price rate. - Website in two languages: Spanish & English. - User can not change country. I have thought about implementing it by multishop, and then create some redirection on the homepage by htaccess. However, I don't know how to disallow user to see other country's product prices. Any suggestion ? Thanks !!!

I will be starting an online store on eyewear, for the start there will two countries in Australia and U.S. The only main different is the price but the product range remain the same for both country. At the moment the general layout may remain the same. So my question is should I use the multistore or just create one shop?

Hi I run a UK store, and I would like to offer my products to the whole of Europe, how do I set postage costs by Country and not Zones. Example: Product X Delivery to Spain, Product X Delivery to Holland Product X Delivery to Italy

Major Bug: PS 1.6.0.6: Countries, Tax Rules dissapeared after enabling under BO Localization. Disabling works... but when you enable them they dissapear from the list. Issue SOLVED: 1.6 PS has a 'reset' button in order to clear the search at hand. For some reason it was defaulting to the search for 'disabled' countries, and tax rules. It caused confusion, but after hitting the reset button the search was cleared... not sure why the behavior defaults in this way.
