I have an issue with the phone number showing in the footer. The number is correct in the other languages but in the EN version the number is an old one. How is this possible?

Hi guys, When I send a message through the contact form I don't receive an email. It does however register the message in the backend. I have set up the proper contact person the email should go to. I use the smtp server from the hoster to send and receive email notifications, because php mail() didn't work at all. Test emails and order emails work fine (admin and customer order notifications are sent). It's just the contact form which is giving me headaches now. I'm using prestashop 1.6.0.9 Can anyone help me out?

Is there any way possible to block an email address in the back office? Let's say you're getting nasty messages from a visitor who does not register, plus the email is a random address that cannot be tracked... Is there a way to just prevent this person from contacting again through the back office... exactly like blocking an email address in gmail.

I've tried all of the tricks I can find on the forums so far. It was working fine about 2 weeks ago and then it just wasn't one day. No module installs or upgrades, no changes at all that I did and other than my web hosting, I'm the only one who has access. I haven't been able to figure it out. At this point, If I can't find a fix, I might try to do a Prestashop upgrade.(not the 1-click upgrade as this has already killed my site once!) Any help before I try this though would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and during one of my attempts to fix this, I had to recover my website from a full backup. After this, the contact us page still doesn't work and now my forums page is giving a 404 error that I can't figure out. Also, I've tried turning on debug mode for the contact us page issue and no errors are shown.

I am still very new to Prestashop and I am working on setting up my store. On the contact page there does not seem to be a whole lot of customization that can be made. I know how to add additional emails like customer service and such, but I do not like the default setup. I want to change it by removing the order ID and product boxes and add our other information like a traditional contact us page. This is what we have above the text box on our other website and I would like to get something similar using Prestashop. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hello community! I hope you are all well! I need your help for a little problem that I can't get through! In the contact form you can choose between Webmaster or Customer Service (which is differents e-mails) before an email is sent. I set an email for Customer Service, but we are 2 (sometime 3) peoples to manage this service and to answer to the customer. Is it possible to have 2 or more email set in Customer Service? I tried to separate mail by coma (,) but I got ''invalid mail'' when I did it. And it will be great if all the customer service team will received the notification from the contact form. Otherwise we always need to check if we received some mail from a customer.. Thank you in advance for your help. Nico

Hi: I would like to design my contact page with full layout or at least change the small column to the right, i found how to change that, the problem is that i would like to change the contact info rich from the left column to the right and i don't see that module in the module positions to change the position. Bonjour, Je suis en train de créer un site pouvant ressembler à une marketplace mais sans système de paiement pour l'instant. Sur ce site il y aura plusieurs vendeurs, que j'ai catégorisés comme étant des "marques". Pour que les clients puissent faire part de leur intérêt pour un produit sans passer par moi (l'admin du site), j'aurais besoin d'un formulaire de contact à placer sur chaque fiche produit, mais qui permette aux clients de contacter directement le vendeur (il faudrait donc que chaque "marque" ait une adresse mail propre associée). Dans l’idéal, j’aimerais même, grâce à un module de connexion au site via Facebook, que les clients puissent contacter les vendeurs directement sur leur messagerie personnelle Facebook. J'ai la phrase d'alerte suivante : Une adresse localisée dans un pays contenant des états doit sélectionner un état. Mais il n'y a pas le champ-liste « État » et de toute façon, il n'y a pas d'état en France comme aux USA par exemple. Comment faire ? Prestashop 1.7.6.3

Bonjour, j'ai actuellement une attaque à base de spam sur le formulaire de contact d'un Prestashop 1.6.1. J'ai un captcha en place, j'ai tenté plusieurs méthode pour bloquer et finalement tester de supprimer le contenu du tpl de mon formulaire de contact, et le spam continu d'affluer. J'ai bloqué des range d'ip asiatique (les attaques viennent de Chine) mais il y en a toujours qui passe (moins qu'avant). Comment est ce possible qu'ils puissent toujours envoyer des messages depuis la page contact même quand celle si n'a même pas de formulaire ? Et j'aimerais aussi savoir où sont géré les envois de mail/l'insertion dans la base de données pour le formulaire de contact dans Prestashop (toujours 1.6.1) afin de les stopper directement à la source en appliquant des conditions dessus. I am just clearing up and marking as solved in case this helps someone else. The email problem was caused by my forgetfulness. I had been running Version 1.6 without a problem on this server so when I installed Version 1.7 and email alerts did not work I immediately suspected Prestashop the email alert module, then my settings. All emails going external were Ok but internal emails had empty fields. I then got to a stage of bouncing them to GMail and that worked. I decided to re visit yesterday and realised that when setting up the SMTP settings I did not copy exactly the DNS relay name that I had setup for Version 1.6. When I changed the SMTP setting to my relay server name then everything fell into place and internal emails worked. My second problem was that after my installation of version 1.7 I used the database from version 1.6. all this achieved by ETS-Soft free migration Some stock movements worked others did not When a new order is placed the stock does not decrease, this is only on some products. When I investigate on the database it looks as if the working stock items have "depends_on_stock" set to zero and the stock that is not moving have "depends_on_stock" set to 1 I changed the column in products "depends_on_stock" set to zero for all items and now everything is working Thanks to Prestashop for very detailed documentation on installation as some problems raised in this forum can be solved by reading before asking. Geoff I have built a new server with V 1.7.5 on it and imported my data. Website is functioning with two problems. One is that stock is not reducing when order is placed, but new products look to be Ok. I am still working on this one. The other is internal Mail. When an order is placed the client has a perfect email but the copy that mail alerts sends be has no content in the fields, this is also the same for customer services. Bonjour, Je suis en train de modifier le formulaire de contact de base et cherche notamment à ce que les champs ajoutés figurent bien en base de données (Afin qu'ils s'affichent dans la section SAV du back-ofice où sont centralisés les messages reçus). A l'aide des différents tuto qui datent d'anciennes versions, j'ajoute sans difficulté le champ au mail qui est envoyé à l'admin avec le nouveau champ, mais je coince sur l'ajout dans la BDD et donc dans le back office, dans le thread. Les tutos au sujet d'anciennes versions font référence au ContactController.php qui serait situé dans le dossier controllers/front/ mais il semblerait qu'en 1.7 ce controller ait disparu ou en tout cas son contenu positionné dans un autre. J'ai bien constaté qu'il y a un AdminCustomerThreadsController.php dans controllers/admin qui pourrait correspondre mais je ne parviens pas à retrouver la section relative à l'ajout en BDD des nouveaux champs du formulaire de contact. J'ai également tenté de regarder du côté du contactform.php dans modules/contactform sans plus de succès. Ma question est la suivante: Sauriez-vous comment ajouter en BDD les nouveaux champs du formulaire de contact et les faire remonter dans les thread de la section SAV du back-office? Sauriez-vous d'où cela peut venir ? Comment puis-je résoudre ce problème ?
