Hello, I'm using PrestaShop 1.5.6.2 and I cannot find free PayPal module in the list of preinstalled modules. When I go to the Addons website I can see there is PayPal module for Europe and USA/Canada. Neither of them mentions anything about Australia. I found on this forum that some people installed European or American module anyway and hacked their way to enable it for Australian businesses. I'd like to have a confirmation from a PayPal and/or PrestaShop representative about availability of the PayPal module for Australia. Specifically: Can I use PayPal Europe for an Australian shop? If not, can I use PayPal USA/Canada for an Australian shop? What kind of settings/changes I have to do in order to enable the above mentioned modules for Australian business? Thanks. OzMerchant P.S. if other participants of this forum have any experience of using PayPal modules for PrestaShop 1.5.x in Australia, then your thoughts and suggestions are most welcome.

Hi I am new to Prestashop and am stuck with the shipping. I am in Australia and I would like to give flat rate shipping of $10 to anyone in Australia and $20 for the rest of the world. When I try to set up the shipping it shows Oceania which I think means Australia which is $10 and New Zealand which would be $20 are lumped together. Is there a way to set up the flat rate for the individual countries instead of oceania. Thanks johanne The Horsemans Shop

in the other prestashop versions, i used just normal "Paypal" with the normal "Paypal module"... As soon as i installed 1.6 i started receiving emails from paypal saying ..... Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing: http://www.exposeclothing.com.au/paypal_ipn.asp If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account. Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue. Sincerely, PayPal So i thought well ill have to configure the module like i did on PS 1.5. but when searching for the modules i see a paypal module for EU or USA.... does this mean i can no longer use paypal, as im located in Australia?

Is there anyone developing a module for the Temando freight system? In Australia we seem to be lagging behind the rest of the world in terms of a solid freight integration. I've looked long and hard and can't seem to find anything that fits the bill. Agreed, Tomer's Aust Post module is great but if your goods weigh over 20KG you're screwed. I have clients that sell much larger and heavier goods than can be transported by Aust Post so need to get a solution. I've only been able to find one freight supplier (temando) that fits the bill, but if you guys have some other suggestions, please bring 'em!! I'm really interested in getting Temando to do something for Prestashop like they've done for other ecom platforms but after having conversations with them they're needing a bit of a push. Can anyone help? I've put a few links here so you get what I'm on about, along with links to assets and development that other people have done. Perhaps one of you code wizards can put the pieces together for me? Here's a link to the standalone: https://www.temando.com/booking Demo site: http://training.temando.com/plugin/generalExample/ Here's a link to a webservice that I found: http://search.cpan.org/~baergaj/Shipment-0.02/lib/Shipment/Temando.pm Here's a link to the SOAP schema: http://api.temando.com/schema/2009_06/server.wsdl Here's a link to the plugin usage: https://www.temando.com/feature/plugin/ anyone with suggestions can mail me at prestashop(at)jrdesign(dot)com(dot)au I await your responses with bated breath... I am setting up a website where the product is timber. All deliveries will be carried out by our own truck so our Carrier = SleepersDirect not a third party or postal/courier service. I want to be able to set the delivery charge to vary depending upon the 4 digit numeric postal code that is nominated as the "Delivery Address" in the checkout part of the buying process. I don't have any custom delivery modules set up - I am hoping there is a way to set this up via the Admin panel only. Does anyone know how I can do this? I am happy to enter a full list of postcodes with associated delivery costs and a list of postcodes outside of the delivery zone to whom I want to give a "You're outside of our normal delivery area but please call us for a one-off quote" type of text. Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can give. Note: I am a PrestaShop novice!

Got a big problem with taxes not showing up anywhere on my install of v1.4.7.0 The taxes dont show up anywhere till I click checkout .but they seem to be added on to the base price just fine there, but still does not stipulate incl/excl GST I have configured the settings to show taxes in my cart as well as on product page( incl. TAX) This is not happening and I have tried a few different ways to recitify this like resetting the tax rules etc. None of this has worked so far. I changed incl/excl tax in translations to GST incl/excl this also did not help. Browser change did not work and neither did clear cache or force compile. What I have tried to achieve is: Products to display Price including tax (GST) and excl gst for overseas customers Cart to display Price including tax cart to display tax amount seperate cart to display excluded tax amount for overseas customers tax to be computed for Australia only, with only 1 currency (AUD) TAX to be renamed GST (as per Australian regulations) And carry this forward to invoices of course. and to apply this tax to shopping correctly I cant open my shop till this is fixed, which is a real bummer Any help appreciated Thanks Mike
