I was able to change the email footer globally. 1) change in mail folder in root folder 2)mail folder in theme 3) mail folder in all modules sub folder because modules can have there own mail template The task can be done easily via notepad++ or sublime or eclipse software - all are free Clear cache and recompile template You check my changes at www.abhishekproducts.in

i have edited the email file at the location ../mails/en/account.html since i have only one language the base folder had "mails" available directly my website is abhishekproducts.in

I created a gzip file as a back up.u used sublime editor to find n replace all the files at once. Also verified that the files have changed and saved. But yet the email output does not reflect the change

Hey Unable to change the email footer. as instructed i changes all the files of email template with my custom text n links. but the emails have not been updated, i have tried clearing cache, recompiling templates the email only updates if i change it via prestashop back office feature under translation tab. its a manual and time taking process to cahnge it this way. where am i going wrong ? http://abhishekproducts.in/http://abhishekproducts.in/

hey guys i found this http://www.templatemonster.com/help/footer-links-and-copyright-notification-in-prestashop.html i think this can solve the problem but when i tried it it shows the following Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form 2000 for max_input_vars. Please ask your hosting provider to increase this limit to 2171 at least, or you will have to edit the translation files.

hey followed your approach was able to change the the desired. my requirement is that i want to change the footer of the email accross all the mails that is sent. there are 50 plus email templates in out of the box prestashop. how can i change the footer for all of them at once.

thanks. i wrote a rewrite rule in htaccess file. so sitemap.xml routes to www.abhishekproducts.in/1_index_sitemap.xml . that solved the problem. also i was able to submit /sitemap.xml to web master and it was successfull.

Hello I would like to rename or generate a site map named "sitemap.xml" via "google sitemap" module Presently it generated the site map named as "http://abhishekproducts.in/1_en_0_sitemap.xml" i would like to replace that with "http://abhishekproducts.in/sitemap.xml" reason - for SEO optimization, as generally the crawlers look for file at domain.com/sitemap.xml. having a custom name forces me to manually configure the same at the webmaster tools of search engine services repeatedly. Yup , it does work but am not sure about the quality of search. earlier on entering a a invalid keyword i received 0 result even when relevant keywords where present in the search string. now I get abundant results while few being relevant i guess its a trade off worth making, some thing better than nothing
