  1. Uh, dig that thread out ... other way round, how to disable the creation of delivery slips? i noticed that pdfs are generated new everytime a customer clicks on "invoice" or "delivery slip" and that is not nice, as terms or taxes could have changed in the meantime and that would alter the (tax relevant) document, which is not good at all. Everything PDF is managed and created by my erp, so i do not want to have them created by presta. is there a way?
  3. you have to create a corresponding tax rule, containing your created tax, in prestashop. so create tax 14, create taxrule14, choose countries, and delete and install the connector again
  4. thanks mate, my problem was not in relation to the topic but your solution helped me very much with this module: https://github.com/sarjon/gamifications
  5. Hello, i have an issue as well. without debug mode it is the same blank page, with degut enabled these are the errors. It does not matter which of the 4 modules is enabled or denabled, this fault shows with each of them. my presta is 1.7.4.1 i have looked into the files mentioned in the error message, but as i am not a programmer, i did not find anything that looked suspicious. 6. "Sorry, we can't show this content because you do not have permission to see it."
  7. Thank you for this fast and easy solution! for the updates an override would be cool. i have prestashop 1.7.4.1 at the moment. i have read the documentation for the overrides but i can't understand it I know i have to write the new code that replaces the old code, but how do i define exactly what code is to be replaced? and one thing that would be really cool: is it possible to define in that override that prestashop checks the age of the customer on registration? so only over 18 can register?
  8. Could someone please explain to me where to insert this code in PS1.7.4.1 please? when i go to .../override/classes there are only a bunch of folders which all only have "index.php" files in them but i can not find the customer.php or authcontroller. thank you for helping a noob getting better
  9. in case it is not resolved yet. i had a similar error in my PS1.6 my workaround was to change the dashboard to "month -1" or "last month", wait until it loads and then go back to the current month setting. this refreshed the dashboard for me
  10. Okay, the point with the cron is understandable, maybe it would be easier to do the updating manually, when you push a button. and the order status could be changed, so the module only searches for orders with "shipped" and when a number is found, it changes to "delivered" maybe. so it only needs to look after "shipped orders".. or even further: the user of the module, me in this case, would have to select the shipped orders manually so the module searches for them and updates them to delivered, if this is the case. somehing like this: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/22625-instant-order-tracking-update.html but with the SOAP request involved. i dont know what would be the easiest option, but i only have max 150€ for this and want the maximum automation possible. and if you would do this for around 250€, with the other guy that posted his interest here, it would be 125€ for each. the 5 people i mentioned are interested, but they want to check it in my shop first before they spend money on it. i think (just my way of thoughts as i am not a programmer) that it would be the easiest, if you do not implement the script in the module directly, but let the user of the module set all the variables, as you wouldnt have much customizing work for future buyers of the module. EDIT: to make a cron should not be that big of a problem i think, it would be enough to provide an URL which does the task, that url could be simply inserted to any cron module out there or even put into any third party web service What programming languages would be required for this? maybe i could help with working this out..
  11. 200-500€ sounds a little bit too much for "The task seems simple" The max i would be willing to pay for a job like this is 100€ as i dont think this is a job for more than 5 hours. I mean, all you have to do is writing a fast and simple script, i would just need to input the right variables. If you really want to have this much, i have to say sorry, but then i would rather learn to code it myself edit// plus: like you see, the interest in this module is more than just me, and i think if you write a module with diy cofiguration for the requests and answers, you could sell it for around 70€ and with 1.5 or 2 sold modules you would have your cost back, all above is win for you if you would do it as a module for everyone to buy, i would know 3-5 more interested people
  12. as low as possible as i am still in building the shop and its only my free-time job What would you want for it?
  14. Hey, i need a module (or someone who could code me one) that makes an API/SOAP request to my suppliers server and then adds the tracking number from the answer into the prestashop order. If there is no tracking number available yet, it shall look for this order again the next time. If it imports a tracking number, it shall not make an API/SOAP request for that order again. Here is the provided Data from the supplier: The Request: POST /ws/FTNAPI.asmx HTTP/1.1 Host: xxxxxxxxxxx Content-Type: application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: length <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <soap12:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap12="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"> <soap12:Body> <TrackOrder xmlns="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"> <OrderOrReferenceNumber>string</OrderOrReferenceNumber> <MerchantEmailAddress>string</MerchantEmailAddress> <APISecret>string</APISecret> </TrackOrder> </soap12:Body> </soap12:Envelope> <OrderOrReferenceNumber> is the Order Number in Prestashop, for example: AJGOEBSKD The Answer: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Content-Type: application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: length <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <soap12:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap12="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"> <soap12:Body> <TrackOrderResponse xmlns="xxxxxxxxxxxx"> <TrackOrderResult> <Success>boolean</Success> <Message>string</Message> <OrderStatusTimestamp>dateTime</OrderStatusTimestamp> <OrderStatus>string</OrderStatus> <TrackingNumber>string</TrackingNumber> <TrackingURL>string</TrackingURL> <CarrierName>string</CarrierName> <CarrierTypicalTransitTime>string</CarrierTypicalTransitTime> </TrackOrderResult> </TrackOrderResponse> </soap12:Body> </soap12:Envelope> Nice to Have: It would be really cool if you can add a feature: when the <OrderStatus> is marked as "shipped" in the Answer, it stays the status "shipped" in Prestashop, but when it is <OrderStatus> Cancelled, it sets the order to "On backorder (paid)" in Prestashop Thank you very much if you know any way to make this work or know someone who can do this! 17. Hey guys, i searched for some weeks for something like this now and its a shame presta does not have the option built in imho. What i need is a solution that automatically fills in the right state of the country from either the city or Zip. I think i noticed that this works pretty well when i import eBay orders that get shipped to USA, but that is the only country that works. Germany or other european countries don't. The problem is the eBay imported orders, because ebay does not ask for, nor send the state with the address, but my carrier always needs it. So my only option at the moment is to manually search on google for every state before i can ship an order. If you could offer a working solution or a workaround (i export orders to Excel so it could be done there as well) Please Answer here or PM Thanks! Felix
  18. @Akhenaten +1 In addition, you should NOT! use the "File System" Cache option, it only creates more and more cache files that make your server even slower.. My hosting (A2 Hosting shared, too) just shut down my account once because the File System cache option created 350.000 files! the limit at A2 is 300.000. with this cache off i have only 53.000
  19. Hey guys, here is my Store about electric cigarettes (which will be strictly regulated soon :/ ) I have put a lot of time in this, i would say almost my entire free time in the last year, constantly searching for ways iproving and automating things, so now it sells and restocks automatically on ebay, exports orders automatically and so on. I would really like to know what you think could be improved for better user experience, because you have a more objective vision than i have the URL is http://ilikevape.de the most part is german, but i started adding english translations. i am still searching for a good google translate module for ps 1.6.1.1 Have fun there, any thoughts are welcome Felix
  23. Hi everyone, I have a rather unusual question ... I had so many problems with Prestashop on my server these weeks, always import all files via FTP again and now i am really tired of always waiting years for the FTP. Does it make sense, and it is perhaps even fast enough to let the Prestashop with about 500 articles running on a PC at home? I have a laptop with i5 processor, 8GB RAM and enough hard drive, this is joined by a 6MB DSL, not "up to", but "real" 6MB. How would the load times and access times be? Does it make sense or is security too much effort? My current Hoster is One.com and the load times are not very fast, about 1-3 seconds per page. best regards Felix
