  1. Prestashop v1.6.0.14 Paypal USA, Canada v1.3.9 So far this year this website had had almost 2,000 total orders. Of those 2,000 roughly 12 orders are having problems, and typically the same customers each time. Front end- They will add items to their cart. Go to checkout. All info entered and they get forwarded to paypal to pay. After successful payment they get forwarded back to the website, however all items are still in cart. Back end- I can see their cart under their account and it is marked abandoned. Paypal- Paypal shows what items and qty are ordered. It shows the total and payment that came through. Typically they reach out to us saying it happened, we go in and manually create their order from their cart. We then select payment approved. Any suggestions?
  2. I have a customer that is trying to do something that I can not figure out how. They had a person create an order. After the order was created they went in and edited their ship to address. Between the order and the editing my customer had printed everything out and created a label and shipped. I am looking at a few options of what they would like. 1) not able to edit an address after order has been placed 2) only display Bill To address and remove all options to have a ship to address 3) Open to any kinds of suggestions. Version 1.6.0.14
  3. After I get an order I log into Paypal and create a shipping label/order. After I do that I have to log back into Prestashop and enter the tracking number. It isn't bad if I only have to do a couple orders, but most of the time I am shipping multiple orders in a day. Is there a add-on that will recognize when I am creating a shipping label inside PayPal and sync that information into my Prestashop OR is there a module that will allow me to create a shipping label from Paypal? To me it makes sense to have it all in one place and I really like the ease of the PayPal "Create Shipping" function. Thanks!
  4. I have a site that is using the Prestashop built in shipping module. I have set the shipping to go by weight. Everything we ship is done by ounces, however we have set the weight to the decimal value of lbs thinking that was the best way to do it. We have all of our range set in according to the same decimal version of lbs. The problem is when a person puts a qty of 6 or more items in their cart it will default to the Max shipping (as out of range) even though the actual weight is far below what that level is. I have tested it many ways and the actual items in the cart have no bearings as once you hit any mixed qty of 6 or more the shipping jumps up to Max (out of range) Any suggestions on how to fix this? Since our items are very small and light many people order several (which quickly adds up to the qty 6) and when shipping cost almost as much as your items in the cart, people tend to not finish the order. We went from Shopify to Prestashop and this is the only real snag we have...
  5. I am using "PayPal USA, Canada v1.3.9" by Prestashop Store version is 1.6.0.14 Sorry I didn't see the notification that someone replied.
  6. Hello everyone. Hopefully I can explain what is happening enough so someone can maybe give me a hand. I have a prestashop and have spent the time to add all the weights on my products as well as setting up shipping cost. When a person pays with PayPal it sends everything in the cart and creates a line item which is 99% correct. It also takes the shipping amount being charged and put it as a line item and not in the PayPal shipping part. The total matches up just fine so the correct amount is being charged, however it shows $0.00 for shipping down below and the actual amount they are getting charged for shipping appears with the items they purchased. If someone can help me fix this, that would be wonderful. Thank you all in advance!
  7. At first I was only getting the total sent to paypal and my client wanted the complete order. When I was researching this issue I cam across something that may help you both (if you have not figured it out yet) In your paypal configuration for PayPal Business Account: If you have your paypal email address in there, it passes your full order detail. If you have your business Name in there, it only passes the total. At least changing from business name to paypal email address took mine from total only to order details. Give it a shot... Maybe it will work the same for you.
  8. We recently upgraded to 1.6.1.10 and noticed a few things that are odd. Many of them we have figured out however 1 is really giving us a hard time. Prices! If a person is NOT logged in and then browse any category or page that has listings they can see the price. When the click on a product from a list they can see the price in every category, but one. That price shows $0.00. If they elect to add the item to the cart the pricer is shown there. If they view the product on a list (click on category to see all products or if we display the product on the home page) the price is shown. Click ON the product to select options, no price at all. If a person is logged in they can see the prices no problem. This is ONLY affecting a single category. As a test I created a new category and moved a few of the items in however even moving them to the new category the issue follows. It makes me believe the issue has to do with all products that were in that specific category during the upgrade. Any suggestions or help? We have lost a lot of money as this happened during the start of the Christmas season and it being Christmas Eve we are still having this issue.
