  1. Not yet. It's so frustrating. Do you also use Erply? I realised the other day that when it syncs back to Erply, it creates new products for all of the child items. So this version of aligning products may not actually work for me. I need to fix up the syncing issues in the inventory sync module rather than a manual fix at the Prestashop end. Feel free to send me a private message & keep me up to date with your progress
  2. I'm not sure how to provide a snapshot of the products or access the back end. I have attached a couple of videos which show the matrix products in the program https://www.youtube.com/embed/i54pjf9RCiQ?autoplay=1&hd=1 https://www.youtube.com/embed/lGCFZXO6520?autoplay=1&hd=1 Please send me a private message if you need further information. Hope that helps?
  3. Thanks to everyone that has sent messages. I will be in contact shortly.

  5. Hi, I'm looking for someone to supply a quote to build a module where I can create parent/child relationships (combinations) from existing items. I import from an inventory program (Erply) which imports parent & child products as separate items. I would like to somehow link the child variant to the parent (so it still maintains it's code and individuality as a product) but only have the parent listed on the website which drop down boxes to choose size and colour. ie. Parent: Dog Collar [DC] Children: Yellow, Large [DC-Y/L] Yellow, Small [DC-Y/S] Blue, Large [DC-B/L] Blue, Small [DC-B/S] The result is that I end up with a massive web shop which is hard to navigate. I'd really like one item Dog Collar [DC] (parent) and then when you click on it an option for a drop down box, radio button etc which links to the various colour/size (children). The module I am currently using to import from Erply (cloud based inventory system) is: Order Management & Inventory Management Developed by : Inventory.com Version : 1.5.1 Category : Migration Tools Description : Order & inventory management backend for PrestaShop Details about the connector/module and information can be obtained here: http://www.inventory.com/prestashop/integration/ or here http://erply.com/integrations-with-partners/erply-integration-with-prestashop/ (open source info can be found here). Here is a link to the website relating to the dog collars: This is the pet category - http://www.rubycube.com.au/index.php?id_category=168&controller=category The picture with the dog is the parent in my inventory program, the pictures of the collars in the dark are all the children. This is the parent product (there is zero for sale as the available stock resides with the children) http://www.rubycube.com.au/index.php?id_product=1059&controller=product This is the child (with no link to the parent) - http://www.rubycube.com.au/index.php?id_product=853&controller=product. What I would like to see is the parent and then the colour or size of the products to select. I don't mind if it happens automatically or if I need to connect the parent & child relationship once imported. My budget is minimal but there are others that are asking the same thing so it might be that we pool funds or make the module available for sale later on. They have an app for the ipad which groups the parent/child relationship https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pos/id491289593?mt=8 it would be great to do the same thing with the website. Apologies for the lengthy post - please contact me for further information. Thanks, Jade
  6. I am trying to develop a web page and have three different branches of the business. I am looking for a module/assistance in having a welcome page or pop up to direct traffic. The welcome page would include the logo of each of the businesses and maybe a short description. The user would then select what section of the business they would like to visit and they would be directed to the page. The businesses are: Bookkeeping/management consulting business which would be best suited to a blog with contact details etc. E-Commerce business selling various products with the option to register for pre-orders. E-Commerce feather design business selling ready made products as well as custom designs. I have a purchased theme and am part way through customising. I will also need help developing a module for integration of parent/child relationships from my inventory program Erply to Prestashop. A module already exists but rather than list the child as a variant it adds every variant as a new item making for a very busy website. See my other post for more details on this one. Thanks in advance, Jade

I'd really like one item Dog Collar [DC] (parent) and then when you click on it an option for a drop down box, radio button etc which links to the various colour/size (children). Unfortunately, I have to to be able to link them in Prestashop otherwise the sync from Erply (my inventory program) will not work and keep the items up to date. Please contact me if you require further information, or know of a module that already exists. Thanks, Jade
  8. Thanks I tried it but no dice. Think I will give it a rest for tonight. Thanks so much for your help!
  9. Did you go with Erply? I am with them and am frustrated with the lack of sync for product combinations. My website is now really messy with multiple products that don't need to be there!
  10. Thanks for your assistance, although I'm not sure how I would fix it. I have logged onto my host and found several product.tpl files and none of them have a more_info_blocks that I can find? Strike that ... just found this section on line 493 <div id="more_info_block" class="clear">. If I delete the class="clear" nothing appears to happen. Sorry, I really have no idea what I am doing!
  11. I've posted earlier today as I am having problems with syncing from my inventory program - ERPLY to Prestashop. It imports each of the matrix products (combinations) as seperate products which is making the website messy and hard to navigate (www.rubycube.com.au). If I ignore the imported products and generate combinations through prestashop I will not be able to synchronize the quantities available. Does any one know of a module or a way that I could link/select existing products to form part of the combination? ie. I have a product L.E.D Dog Collars [DC] and combinations (12 variants) have already been made in my inventory program. Currently my website shows each combination as a seperate item. I would like to somehow link the child variant to the parent (so it still maintains it's code and individuality as a product) but only the parent is listed on the website which drop down boxes to choose size and colour. I hope this makes sense? Thanks, Jade
  12. I currently use Erply to manage my stock and chose the cloud based program as I was interested in the integration with Prestashop as well as the ipad app. The idea was that if I sold something at a market then the inventory would be updated on our online shop through Prestashop. As I am trying to pull the website together I notice that the sync between Erply/Inventory.com and Prestashop does not account for matrix/combination products. This is extremely annoying as it means that each product of the matrix appears as a separate item. For example, we sell some clothes, each size appears as a separate item, rather than a drop down box where the colour/size can be selected. Another frustrating aspect is it appears to be a manual sync and I am looking at a way to automate it so when I take a product out of stock, the stock levels update online. I wrote the above information to the support team at Erply and received the following response: The Prestashop connector is open source and without warranty. It is provided as a basic starting point and may require further development for customer specific needs. For this reason we provide this connector as open source to allow a Prestashop expert to develop upon it. In order to build the connector to your specifications you would need to add these options. If you are not familiar with working with this we suggest hiring a 3rd party Prestashop expert to assist you with the changes. I have noticed a couple of other people have asked questions about this. Has anyone created a module where the above issues are addressed? It might be worth fixing and charging a small amount for the module to recover costs. Does anyone have any skills that would be able to assist and or provide advice/guidance on the time frames/costs involved. Thanks, Jade The module I am currently using is: Order Management & Inventory Management Developed by : Inventory.com Version : 1.5.1 Category : Migration Tools Description : Order & inventory management backend for PrestaShop Details about the connector/module and information can be obtained here: http://www.inventory.com/prestashop/integration/ or here http://erply.com/integrations-with-partners/erply-integration-with-prestashop/ (open source info can be found here). I have no idea where to start, I am happy to pay for the assistance, just need to find out if it is cost effective or is going to be more trouble than it's worth?
  13. Hi, I am using the 01mode template and for some reason the description of items is appearing quite low on the page. I'm a complete novice and not sure how to bring it up higher. Any help would be appreciated (in laymans terms). Thanks, Jade My website - work in progress - text begins under the additional photos: http://www.rubycube.com.au/index.php?id_product=523&controller=product The template - text begins next to the additional photos. http://theme01.com/prestashop/01mode/en/accessories-ipod/9-belkin-leather-folio-for-ipod-nano-black-chocolate.html
