  1. Anybody, no one has any suggestions.?? This is a form textfield and if I knew php and where to edit it I would attempt it. I just do not have enough information. Surely there is a coder out there that can make a suggestion...? Please.
  2. Okay, This should be an easy fix. But I cannot find anything about it. My problem is this...I want to set the Customization text field in the product area to except any text. Numbers and coding characters. Example:... <product><code>1165-19-c24</code><personalization><wording-style>Traditional ... It does not need to be recognized as anything but text. This would be delivered to the drop shipper "as is". The Customization tab in the product area is perfect and works fine as long as I just type in a few words. There are 5 lines of this particular text and the Customization form throws an error if I try to put this in. I cannot find any information relating to this. Anybody have a solution, please.
  3. @supercharlie...was hoping you were still on line. Have you played with or considered a multistore setup? I actually think this might solve the problem...IF...each individual store can be setup for just one supplier with its own shipping rates. I already know that customers can be registered across all stores, but each store has a seperate cart. Which illiminate the problem of multiple suppliers in one order. I would want each store to be accessable from the front main menu, though, and have found nothing on this particulair part of it. What do you think?
  4. Drop shipping in Prestashop...You would think that there would be more on this subject...considering so many people use it. basically, I am using mutiple suppliers and the module from ModuleBazaar. So far, the module allows me to setup a whole list of shipping rates for each supplier, plus differant shipping carriers. The support for the module comes from Egrove, and is mediocre at best. They do maintain the module if there is a problem. But there is little communication and no help files to speak of. This is my first jump out of the gate with Prestashop and have come to a realization...FYI ...it is best if there is only 1 supplier. I have run into the problem of different shipping rates for differant suppliers and if a client orders mutiple products from multiple suppliers in one order. The shipping rates get really wierd. I have entertained the idea of a multishop. 1 shop per supplier, but have not found any comfirmation that this would work. So there is my 2 cents worth.
  5. Wish I had an answer to this also. I have looked every where on the compatibility issue. There seems to be nothing either way. And very few 1.4.9 templates. Any one that knows the answer to this question, it would be greatly appreciated.
