@F.P. Innodb ist transaction safe , d.h. es können SQL Abfragen sicher gestellt werden auch wenn die Verbindung abbricht. Das ist wohl der wesentliche Vorteil gegenüber MyIsam! Dies kann man aber genauso gut für Prestashop implementieren. Ansonsten wäre ich mal daran interessiert was du am Core von Prestashop schlecht findest(Bitte detailliert). Nicht aus Gehässigkeit sondern wirklich aus Interesse. Kann ja gut sein dass du recht hast. Das mit der Abmahnbarkeit ist natürlich richtig . Da habe ich mich auch schon sehr gewundert. Das lässt sich aber sehr leicht beheben.

Okay its a company and they want and must make money,but the software will never grow if they don't build a central system for contributions. This also includes automatic upgrades!! But what about the prestashop license. Is it allowed to build a "hacked prestashop" with own development , own homepage and free contribution system ??

Ich muss sagen Prestashop ist ja 100mal mehr Porno als Magento. Nachdem ich mich ein halbes jahr mit Magento gequält habe und mich über dessen Bugs ,schlechte Geschwindigkeit und noch schlechtere Dokumentation geärgert habe bin ich nun gestern auf Prestashop gestossen. Das Teil sieht nicht nur gut aus sondern ist auch schnell und umfangreich. Nach meiner ersten Einschätzung steht es Magento in nichts nach was die Funktionialität angeht. Mehr noch es hat von Haus aus bessere Funktionen!! Die Installation und Programmierung von Modulen ist zudem auch viel viel einfacher!! Ich werde mich jetzt in Zukunft auf Prestashop fokussieren und Module dafür installieren. Wir müssen Prestashop unbedingt bekannter in Deutschland machen und dafür sorgen, dass der Core an das deutsche recht mitangepasst wird !!
