STAMPS.COM integration
ShirtSeller replied to ikylim's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Just purchased and installed your module to the modules folder. Now when I go to Modules in the back office I get this error: [PrestaShop] Fatal error in module WebVizoCarrierModule: Declaration of WebVizoCarrierModule::getOrderShippingCost() must be compatible with that of CarrierModuleCore::getOrderShippingCost() As soon as I remove your product all is back to normal. The Read Me file doesn't seem to address anything about set up - can you assist? Joe -
Client Login // Limited access
ShirtSeller replied to ShirtSeller's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
Thanks - great start now that I know what to search for - I appreciate the reply. Joe -
My shop is a store for multiple bands and some of these bands want back office access to view their sales at any time. If I set them up as a user they can see all sales, not just theirs. Is there a way, new module etc, to set up client logins and dictate what categories or sales that they can see? To fully explain - I sell for John, Tom and Dave. I want John to be able to log in and see John and only John's sales/orders. I then want Tom to be able to log in and see Tom and only Tom's sales/orders etc. Thanks, Joe

Error during customer image upload process
ShirtSeller replied to GReyesP's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Hi - Just last night I started getting the same "An error occurred during the image upload process" when I was simply trying to add a small image to a new product. I searched the forums and only found answers to this when it related to the image slider. I made zero changes or any known updates to Prestashop so I was a bit dumbfounded. I started to think about what I might have done on my end over the last 24 hours and realized that I uploaded some very large art files to my server, the same server that ,y Prestashop store is on, for a client to download. I cleared of some old large files from my server and now I can upload images to my store. Short answer is is that you may have run out of space on your server. Try removing some old files taking up space and try again. Or, reach out to your hosting company and see about getting some more space allocated. Hope this helps. Joe- 6 replies

Update -- As you can see no input from the forum so this must be an issue that no one knows of or has ideas for. I contacted support and they advise they will only help for a fee. I get it but being an expensive module I'd think they would help a little, nope. Based on the issue I have and the other threads out there with various other problems I would suggest NOT purchasing this module unless you want to spend a bunch of time fixing it yourself or paying additional support time. Just my two worthless cents. Joe

PS Version 1.5.6.1 Purchased and installed today - no errors Configured with correct PayPal info, success Ran a test purchase and get an error in red; Error, please verify the card information I do have a pro plan with PayPal and they are assisting with the upgrade. They can see the request coming over and said it is failing because no country code is being sent over. We looked in the paypalpro.php and the PayPal tech thought that there should be a Country line where the billing address info is. I called and left a message for support but no call or email back as of yet. Can anyone confirm that this needs to be added to fix the problem? If so, what would the additional code be that needs to be added? Just a bit of frustration to vent but a $200+ module should just work....just saying. Thanks in advance - Joe

Hi All, I have a new fresh install of 1.5.6.1 and am getting the following error when checking out with my first test purchase: "We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com." This error comes in on the PayPal side of things I guess: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_flow&SESSION=wU6KokAeYBqeRFzO4NZsyL54jRYUPOGJnVO6tZ7tBCgGRqsq1apnEgAhHDm&dispatch=50a222a57771920b6a3d7b606239e4d529b525e0b7e69bf0224adecfb0124e9b61f737ba21b081986471f9b93cfa01e00b63629be0164db1 My PayPal account is in fine working order. I have reset my PayPal API credentials and I still get the same error. The PyPal module version in my shop is 1.2.7 My site is at http://www.rightrock.com/cruisestore Screenshots are attached Anyone else running into this?

Errors with certain states using PayPal
ShirtSeller replied to ShirtSeller's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Tried the same thing. Ended up doing a clean install of 1.4.9 and am working with that. Trouble is I built 3 shops on 1.5 and now have to re-do them all back to 1.4.9 -
Errors with certain states using PayPal
ShirtSeller replied to ShirtSeller's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Hi Benjamin, Thought I'd post an update. I upgraded the PayPal module and that did not help. I then tried various version of the PayPal module from 1.4.9 down with no luck either. This is a strange situation where some orders come over fine but with no common reason others do not. I've had good orders from a state like California then just today someone else from California could not complete a payment. Sometimes the error is like in my first post where it says a state is required even thought the customer does put in there state, when this happens their state does not show up in their address in the back office. They advise they get through the cart and over to PayPal but it just will not complete the payment. I get the new order email but never a payment confirmation and the payment never shows in PayPal. Again, some orders come over fine. At this point I'm forced to go back to 1.4.9 so I can keep orders coming in so I am in the middle of rebuilding all of my stores. Is there an easy way to downgrade from 1.5.1 back to 1.4.9? Thanks, Joe -

3.2.2, think the upgrade to 3.2.4 will solve this? -
Fresh new install of V1.5.10. Currently PayPal is my only payment module in use. Good orders have come through from US states such as NC, CA, WI, IL and GA. Good international order from Norway. However, I've had multiple payment errors with orders from PA and from LA. The customers say they are absolutely putting their states in when checking out but: The states do not show up on invoice or delivery address The orders come over as Payment Errors No funds are ever processed through PayPal. The error stamp on the new order email: Customer message: PayPal response:TIMESTAMP -> 2012-10-10T20:34:43ZL_ERRORCODE0 -> 10729L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address State EmptyL_LONGMESSAGE0 -> The field Shipping Address State is requiredL_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error These problematic states are set up correctly in the back office and are active. I have not done the PayPal module update yet. Thoughts or ideas? Anyone else running into this? Thanks, Joe

Remove Category Images
ShirtSeller replied to ShirtSeller's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Thanks dh42, I've edited the category.tpl down to almost nothing and they are still there. -
Hi All, When I have categories with no sub-categories I have no category images, which is cool but when I have sub-cats in a cat both the category and sub-categories now show images at the top. I would like to remove these images. I'm guessing I can comment out an image source but do not know where to find it. I tried the category.tpl but nothing changed. Any ideas? Joe

First Data Global Gateway
ShirtSeller replied to ShirtSeller's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
Thanks Tomer! -
I'm looking to switch from using PayPal to BOA. BOA Uses First Data Global Gateway for processing payments via their virtual terminal. How would a Prestashop admin go about setting up the use of a Payment Gateway not listed in the BO or offered on the Add Ins page? Does anyone here in the U.S. have this set up already and if so offer any advise? Thanks, Joe
