Hi, I'm working on my 1.5 web shop, i've been uploading a considerable number of categories. suddenly after one upload batch the front office refuses to open and gives a 500 error. My back office works fine. > I've checked the categories trough the back office and those are fine. Server time out controls are good > checked and enlarged control files. Server does not have any errors > as per Cpanel quick diagnoses Checked error in multiple browsers > error persists in all Has anyone encountered this issue? How do i get my front office back working?

Does any one have a suggestion?

Hi, I'm testing 1.5.1 to develop a update for my current shop. During a category test upload (main & sub's ) I ran in to a front-end error, they won't load and give a 404 error. There aren't any errors in the back-end although not all seem to have loaded. I've tried resting it with deleting and re-uploading. Same error continues.

Hi, I currently have 1.4.6.2, I'd like to move to 1.5.1. From what I've read overt the last few days it's highly tricky. A parallel setup What I'd like to know is if you could take out the /img/ folder and swap it over then get the product & category data/mapping and pasting that in to the new store. Would that make the products and categories show up and work in 1.5.1? I have Store Comander as well but I don't have a csv for the categories. Store currently has 48.000 products.

I need to move over all my products and categories from 1.4 to 1.5 it's about 40-50.000 products and a couple hundred categories. I've read up on it and it a update on 1.4 to 1.5 is risky and difficult from what I read. I could make a parallel 1.5 if I could copy the products and categories over in to it. (i have Store Commander btw) Is that possible? could that be done by copying a number of directories?

Well I take 3 forms of Payment, if you look at the average order value the Fee is considerable, a €60 PP fee isn't unusual. Currently it's incorporated in the VAT pricing (ex, 21% + 3.9%) But that's unfair for VAT pay customers that opt for bank transfer. Nether is it help full for international sales where VAT does not apply

Hi, I'm nearing completion of my prestashop, but i can't seem to get the shop to display pricing excluding VAT on the store front and then adding VAT if a client selects EU country upon checkout. How do i go about doing this? I did go trough the taxes modules but can't seem to get this done. It isn't listed in the manual, i've searched the forum but couldn't find it.

Re installed with newest version all working fine, I see what caused the crash now,in the .csv ID line there was a "1" causing the system the conflict with the Home folder

So I'd need to delete all Presta MySQL and Folders from the server?

Finally got most issues worked out, and now my "Categories" section crashes after importing a test category .csv file. Now a endless number of categories have appeared with the same name i can't delete them and when i try i'm getting 2 error messages The layout of the categories section in the back end is also very strange suddenly i can only make sub-categories, can't delete the incorrect main category ether (this one is still under "Home" in edit mode but not when i view the overview page). To make it worse categories bar in the front end is also vanished. Only logical thing i can think of now after failing five times in fixing would be a Reset or reboot of Presta to go back to default. How do i go about resetting, or even better fixing the issue?

Hi, I'm configuring my first prestashop, I've started uploading both category and product .csv files. I'd like to know how what the most efficient way is to organize the products in there correct category. I understand that I can assign that in the .csv but when working with a large number of distinct .csv file layouts this is very difficult and sometimes not possible. could some one help me out?

Hi, I've uploaded products but they only show up under the home directory, Read the manual 3 times but no where does it say who to move or batch move products to a category. Only way i found was moving them one by one, which is impractical. Can some one explain me how to move a large group of products to a category or how to import csv's in to categories?????

Okay I've searched but can't seem to find a how-to on creating categories and organizing the products. Could some one point me in the right direction??
