That maybe a solution for Google but still doesn't explain why no keywords are showing for customers coming from Bing, Yahoo, ask etc. Had nearly 4000 visits this month but no keywords are showing up in the database

divyeshp solution worked for me, hopefully the prestashop devs will wake up and put this solution into the next release as it seems stupid not to have comments made on an order not showing up on the order itself

Gooogle announced that they are to close the googlecheckout service in November 2013 so i wondered what alternatives exisit for Prestashop users to accept payment with credit/debit cards without needing a merchant account? Would prefer a service that doesn't have a monthly charge or at least if they do one that is low. I already offer Paypal but prefer to have an alternative payment processor as well. I have previously used Skrill/Moneybookers but removed them from the website due to bad customer service from them so please no suggestions of Moneybookers

[solved] PS 1.4.8.2. Free Shipping for one carrier only
UKclearancecentre replied to jassy's topic in General topics
thanks for this hack, with it being relatively easy to do i am suprised this has not been included in prestashop by default. It could just be a tick box next to the carrier saying 'disable from free shipping' -
I have this problem as well, works ok in the back office but on 2 differnet Android phone (both with Android 2.3) the products on the home screen are ok but the categories products are not showing with the stock Android browser. Tested with Opera Mini 7 on Android and it works ok so its obviously some configuration problem with the stock Android browser. Running Prestashop 1.4.9.0

Like many others on here the upgrade from 1.4.x to 1.5 has not been smooth if its even worked at all. So therefore i was wondering if its possible to just export the products, orders and customers from an existing 1.4 install and import them into a cleanly installed prestashop 1.5. that can then be configured manually to the same setup as our 1.4 installs? If i had more knowledge of the database structure of prestashop i would give it a go myself as i expect you can do it from phpmyadmin but i wouldn't know where to start. If need be i'd be willing to put up $20 towards a fund for someone to write a module to do it.

I have noticed some good deals on VPS from some hosting providers which on paper seem to give me the same or even better specs for around half the price of what i am currently paying for a dedicated server wondered what peoples opinions are on VPS compared to my spec of my dedicated server. My current dedicated server which i have had for a about 4 years which i am paying $100 US per month, The server specification is: Single core celeron 2.5ghz cpu, 1GB ram, 100gb SATA hard drive, 1000GB traffic per month, 4 ip addresses, fedora linux, apache 2, mysql, php5, cpanel/whm configuration software. I currently run 1 prestashop install on the server but several other none prestashop sites are also hosted on the server and its starting to get a bit slow. Is it worth me moving to a VPS and saving a few hundred dollars per year, staying on the dedicated server or maybe even something like Amazon cloud hosting?

I upgraded to prestashop 1.4.7.3 and all seemed ok so went live on the website, it was only afterward that i noticed that some aspects weren't working correctly in the back office but i had already added new products and received orders before i noticed so it was too late to roll back to my backups as i would loose the orders. I tried a clean install of prestaship 1.4.7.3 and then pointing it to the upgraded DB but the problems were still there so it obviously didn't complete the upgrade of the DB correctly. I would ideally like to export the tables in the database for products, categories, customers and orders then do a clean install and restore the exported tables to a clean DB. Anyone got a module for doing this (preferably free or low cost) or information on how to do this from Phpmyadmin would be useful

Still having an issue with this, its definitely an issue with the database after the upgrade, as if i do a clean install of prestashop 1.4.7.3 with a new database the htaccess generator tab works fine. But if i then take the clean install and change the database to use the dbase from the upgraded shop the htaccess generator tab stops working with the access denied error. Also get access denied error on these tabs as well: customers > carts customers > groups stats > search engines stats > referrers

Hi Poffer, same problem as me which i reported in Jan 2012 here http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/148861-htaccess-generator-not-working-after-upgrade/ and no solution from the prestashop team yet to this solution. What prestashop version were you on before the upgrade?
