I installed the same version (1.5.2) of prestashop onto ipage.com and tried to import data with the same csv file (saved with UTF--8 encoding) . I got the same issue as with 1and1.com. It looks like prastashop has a bug. Can anybody out there help, please? Thanks.

Hi, I installed ps 1.5.2 in my local pc. I created csv file with data in Chinese. The data was imported with no issue. I then move on and installed the same version on 1and1.com. Same csv file was used for import and it doesn't work! If the field (say, name) starts with Chinese characters, it become blank after hit "Next Step". If the field starts with a non Chinese character (a to z or a number), The whole field (include Chinese) will show up and import correctly. Is this a Prestashop's bug or 1and1.com's issue? Can any one out there who are able to import Chinese data with csv file share some thoughts and experience? Thanks a lot.
