Nice answer! Thanks a lot for the time taken for it. I will start trying just the deactivation of the pop-up and then I will try to make the cart to shake when a product is added. I think that would be the best option for me. (My products have many different combinations and my customers usually add different sizes one after the other. So I prefer the pop-up not to appear neither the page to scroll up. The colour change may work for the first one, but the for the next products won't change again will it?) PS: I am using 1.7.8.11

Thanks for the answers! The only option I have in the Shopping Cart module (ps_shoppingcart) is: "Ajax Shopping Cart: Enable Ajax mode for the cart (compatible with the default theme)." If I disable this, pop-up doesn't appear but neither the cart is updated when an item is added. I wouldn't want to lose that.

Hi all, I would simply like to remove the pop-up asking for "Proceed to checkout" or "Continue shopping" every time a product is added to the shopping cart. Normally my customers add an average of 7 or 8 products and I think it's a bit annoying to have to close that window every time. The only related topic I have found is this one from 2014, it is still valid? Thank you very much for your help and best regards! MKZ Games

Module for image editing
MKZ Industries replied to MKZ Industries's topic in Looking for a module or a theme
Haha, sure, but I more need the demo of the back office to see the configuration options for the canvas and to check on the files and formats we will receive once the client has configured his product. But it says "unavailable" -
Module for image editing
MKZ Industries replied to MKZ Industries's topic in Looking for a module or a theme
That module looks like exactly what I need! I'm going to see if I can find a demo to try and confirm it but it looks great! Thank you very much! this can save us a lot of headaches. -
Hello to all, We are looking for a module that allows our customers to edit an image in a simple way before adding a product to the cart. The situation is as follows: We make cases to store and transport wargaming miniatures and we offer our customers the possibility to customize the front side of them by uploading an image when buying one. The problem we have is that we often don't receive decent images and precise instructions from our clients. Often images are too small (sometimes they upload images of 200x200px for a 26x40cm front), or they are not of sufficient quality, or we don't know where they prefer to place the image, etc. This means spending a lot of time talking to our clients and ultimately editing the images. We are looking for a module that allows our clients to upload an image on a blank canvas of the size of the front side of the case in order to show where it is going to go and how it will look. The module should simply allow the image to be resized and moved around. This way the client can configure the front of the briefcase to their liking and when they save the image we should receive it ready to be printed. Is there a module with these characteristics? It would help us a lot. Thank you very much and best regards, Xabi

HTTP ERROR 500 - unable to see product pages
MKZ Industries replied to DArnaez's topic in General topics
I am login in only to thank you for this solution, I just have had the same issue when updating from 1.7.8.10 to 1.7.8.11 and deactivating the productcomments module solved the problem. Do you have any further info about it? Why it didn't work or something? In any case, thanks a lot, I was up to restore m shop before reading this threat. -
That is the thing, I have stock management disabled from the beginning in "Configuration -> Shop parameters -> Product configuration -> Activate stock management: No" That's why I find it strange that this table is growing all the time. But as I said, it doesn't coincide with an entry or exit of stock, it goes days without entries and suddenly 20 or 30 with NULL and 0 values are added at the same time.
-
Hi all! I was doing the periodic cleaning of prestashop tables related to statistics (pr_guest, pr_connections, etc.) when I saw that the "pr_stock_mvt" table is very large (9.5 Mb). From the name of the table I guessed that it records the stock movements that occur when selling a product, although I have deactivated the advanced stock control. However, the strange thing is that there are days that in the same second many new entries are registered all at once with most of the parameters set to NULL (id_order, id_supply_order, referer) or to 0 (price_te, last_wa, current_wa). It doesn't match the orders. A few days can go by with no new records and then suddenly 100 appear all at once at the same time. My question is, is this behaviour normal? And, above all, can I delete this table that keeps growing? Thanks a lot for your support, Regards Xabi

Internal Server Error in Backend / Orders page
MKZ Industries replied to GKL's topic in General topics
Just writing to add another confirmation that Prestashop Metrics is causing the error. I have just updated to 8.0.4 from 1.7.8.8 and if I activate Prestashop Metrics, I get the next error when accessing the orders list: "The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error" I am using PHP 7.2, due to other integration problems with some modules when using PHP 8.1. Could be that? -

Hi all, I have updated today from 1.7.8.7 to 1.7.8.8 and I have received several [Warnings] regarding the upgrading of some modules. I think it is nothing and that I can simply ignore them, but I would like to confirm it with the community. One example could be this: This is another example of another module apparently correctly upgraded: Before updating to 1.7.8.8 I had 38 modules to update. Could be that the modules that didn't have any update show that Warning? O what it is for? Thanks a lot for your help and best regards, Xabi

Hi all, I am using Prestashop 1.7.8.8. I have my shop configured in 2 languages, Spanish and English, and while I have no problems importing products and categories for both languages, I cannot do the same with combinations. For example, I have a product with 3 available sizes, small, medium and large. I am trying to upload 2 different .CSV with these combinations for both languages, selecting in the import configuration menu the corresponding one for each file. Both files are the same (ID, reference, price impact...) but for the "Attribute" and "Value" columns that are as follow for each language: SPANISH / ENGLISH "Tamaño:select:0"; "Pequeño:0" / "Size:select:0"; "Small:0" "Tamaño:select:0"; "Mediano:1" / "Size:select:0"; "Medium:1" "Tamaño:select:0"; "Grande:2" / "Size:select:0"; "Large:2" Why this is not working? Is this a common issue with Prestashop import feature? Is this solved in Prestashop 8? So far, I have solved this by translating the names one by one at the "Attributes and Characteristics" menu after importing them in Spanish, but the amount of combinations is increasing quickly and I would like to have a method to do it automatically. Thanks a lot in advance for any help on this, it is driving me mad. Best regards, Xabi

Hi Ken-vdE I finally had some time to review your analysis and I cannot agree more. What you describe in point 5 is exactly what I have experienced with the position attribute. So far I have "solved" it (or better said, handled) dragging manually Attributes and Values after importing them. This has the disadvantage that, as you said, if you delete all combinations before importing, everything gets mixed up again (as recently happened to me). The dummy product with all the possible values and combinations is a good idea that I also came up with, but right now I have 36 different Attributes and some of them with more than 100 values (many depths, heights and lengths). It is a work to have it done and keep it updated. But considering the work it takes to rearrange all this... I think it's worth it. I will have a look to your CSV and think about how to configure my dummy product. EDIT: I guess I can download the current Attributes and Values list from my shops's database itself and work out a CSV file from there. At least I will have the current values arranged for the next "general import". Thanks a lot for your analysis! I think that Prestashop still have some work ahead regarding imports, as for example, an option for importing shipping costs! Best regards,

Hi all, I have recently activated a new carrier (Mondial Realy) that allows the user during the checkout to select a pick up address from which collect their orders. This information doesn't appear in the order summary in my backoffice, neither in the client profile page nor in the invoice. I have only found it in the "Delivery note" that is generated after updating the order to a new state (for example: preparing or shipped). Here is an example of the Delivery Note #EN000423 (it says: Details of the Service Point, followed by an address form Germany) But, apart from here, where else can that address be found? I the data base, in which PS table is this information stored? I cannot find it. Thanks a lot for your help!

Problem with Cookies Banner + LiteSpeedCache
MKZ Industries replied to EduPS's topic in General topics
Thanks for the answer El Patron. I have to admit that I configurated the cache system following online tutorials without fully understanding how it works. So, you would recommend uninstalling LS Cache module? And which cache configuration would you recommend for speeding up the webpage loading? This is something with I have been struggling for a while... -
Problem with Cookies Banner + LiteSpeedCache
MKZ Industries replied to EduPS's topic in General topics
Hi, I have the same problem. I am also using LiteSpeed Cache with the module lgcookieslaw by Linea Grafica, and after updating it to the last version (2.0.4) it does the same. Once the page is reloaded, it appears again. I have also tried configuring ESI blocks and modifying code in several files following instructions found out there, but it doesn't work. Did you finally find a solution? -
Hi, I have the same problem, just with the following differences: Theme: Angartheme 2.4.1 ps_search version: 2.1.3 Prestashop version: 1.7.8.7 I know I have to update the theme (to 2.4.5) but I am not sure how to do it correctly whiteout loosing my configuration (colours, menus, etc.). Do you follow any guide to update your friend's theme? Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello again, I'm getting the same error, this time when importing a .csv of combinations this time. Nobody has any clue about what it is happening or how I could try to find out where this kind of error comes from? I don't know what to do because I don't get any code. As I have said, the error comes out when importing a product with 20 images. If I remove any 4 (so it is not an error that is in any of the photos) the product is imported correctly. With the .csv of the combinations it is even stranger, as other products with more combinations do not give any problem and sometimes it happens and sometimes not. Is it a problem of server overload? Any help would be more than welcome. Best regards Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Error al importar un producto con 20 imágenes
MKZ Industries replied to MKZ Industries's topic in Discusión general
Hello everybody, I am trying to import an .ods with 60 products and I get the error that you see in the image at the end. I have delimited the error to a product in row 34 that has 20 images, and whose column "Image URLs (x,y,z...)" contains a very long data. If I remove it, there is no problem with the import. It also works if I upload it with 17 products. There is no problem with the last 3 pictures, I have tried removing any 3 and it works. Any idea where the problem could be? Is there a limit on the number of characters per column when importing? I have tried everything: importing it as plain text (not with formulas as I had in some columns), removing external references, removing excess columns I had (with data for the price calculation and things like that), reducing the name of the image to a single letter (a.jpg) and so on. Now I have started to run out of ideas. Thank you very much for your help, any idea will be more than welcome. Best regards, Xabier
