I mean customer's credit card will be charged when an order is approved. Yes, customers will provide credit card information upon checking out. Forms of payment are PayPal, Visa, MasterCard. Thank you!

I am not using anything yet. Just got an order from a customer who needs his store to work in the way as customers are not charged until the admin accepts the order. Do you guys know what payment methods work in this way? Thank you!

Hi everyone! Sorry if this is a repeat question. I´ve found nothing. What happens to the customer´s credit card when he places an order, but the admin has not approved it yet? Is he already charged or he will be charged when the admin has approved that order? Thank you a lot!

Add custom field in admin>>catalog>>Add

Hello! But how to pick up that data from the database and write it on the product page somewhere? Many thanks! -
OK! By help from this page (http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/82586-add-custom-field-in-admincatalogadd/) I created a text fields, make the script pick the value up and write it to the database. But how do I pick it up from the database and write on the product page under the regular price? Thank you!

Hi everyone! It's regarding my question above "How to disable selling". Because of using a theme which is not compatible with PrestaShop 1.4.*.* I do not have a Catalog Mode in Preferences > Products. So to disable selling in 1.3.5.0 I turned off cart, coded a little bit to hide "Add To Cart" buttons. Everything works fine! There is another thing our store needs. In Norway where my website performs its job there are 2 types of prices in restaurants and cafes: "eat here" and "to go". That's what I need to have on my webstore. I added an extra text field in admin panel in "info tab" where you change prices and also I added an extra column in the database in table ps_product. Now I need to edit the script which picks up all value and writes them to the database where you click Save. Dear profs, can you please tell me what file(s) does do that? And what file does get the prices from database and put them to the user's part in catalog at the store? I am familiar with PHP/MySQL (hope there will no be problems to edit codes). Thank you!

OK! Thank you Mike! I will try to find the solution! Have a good on!
-
yes, but if the table in my version will not match the tables in the version I will install? In the new version there are 179 tables, but in the my last one it was 149.
-
OK. It is sad. Let me ask you the last question. Can I make a back up of categories and products and transfer them to a new version?
-
Great! I will try it manually. But! Is there a module which can update to the version I choose?
-
Yes, I think I have to. but if there is a way to upgrade to only 1.4.3.x ? And can it be possible to install "Catalog Mode" separately? Thank youuuu!
-
If you see there is no menu line. That image slider is right on the menu! PrestaShop Compatibility: 1.4.3.x But my current PS is now 1.4.6.2. Is there a way to upgrade to only 1.4.3.x ? Thank you a lot!

Hi Mike. Look what happened to my store after updating?!!! http://molandbakeri.com/

Great! I'll try that! Thank you Mike!

Hi Mike! Thanks for the quickest respond I've ever got! But there is no option Catalog Mode in my Back Office >> Preferences >> Products I use PrestaShop Version 1.3.5.0 Thank you!

Hello dear experts! Can you please explain to me if it is possible to disable all selling on the PrestaShop store? We want to hide all "Add to cart" buttons and have only prices shown. If that is possible, please let me know. I was thinking to set quantity of all products to 0 and then set "Allow ordering out-of-stock product" to "No", but the radio buttons for that option are not clickable there. Maybe you can also help me to resolve this issue. Thank you for any attention!

Hello Prestashop lovers! I am very sorry for creating exactly the same topic. But there were no any answers in that topic and that is old. Punish me if needed. The link is: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/67512/third_party_modules/how_do_i_disable_some_of_the_required_fields_in_express_checkout/ Question: How to disable some of the required fields in IonCannon’s Express Checkout? I digged express-order.php up. But if I disable something there, I get “Requested file not found” error when I click “next” on the addresses page (there where you can write a comment to an order). What to do there to disable the fields? Thank you for any attention!

Ohara, I love you! It works. I bought a template FOOD ONLINE which supposed to install it's own SQL base. And that base missed two lines of code that you wrote above! I used your code and the problem is SOLVED now!!! Thank you!!! P.S. How can people sell things which are do not work correctly???!!! -
Hello! Before I begin I will thank everyone who will pay any attention to this. I tried to find a solution on the forum, but nothing similar was found. The problem: In the PDF invoices which customers receive as a confirmation, there no any costs, but gift-wrapping (see the screenshot). What I’ve done: I installed an official Template Food Online theme (http://addons.prestashop.com/en/food-drinks/1865-food-and-drinks-tm31206.html) which included its own SQL database. The creators of the theme recommended installing exactly their SQL to make my website look as it’s supposed to look by creators. I installed the theme with the original SQL and it really looked different. The theme didn’t look good (text was in different places where it shouldn’t be, the same with pictures and bla bla bla). Then I installed their SQL and everything became perfect. And today while testing an ordering process I find out that the costs are not shown in the PDF invoices (only gift-wrapping!). If you need you me show you that SQL, I can upload it or send a Private Message. Please help me if you know any solutions… Thank you!
