Ok, thanks for trying to find a solution, but is there no simple way to do this? Maybe change an entry in the database? I already changed the field 'reset_password_validity', but it has no effect. (I read that somewhere to be the solution). I don't understand these issues... I can't be the only one with this problem, but no simple solution? Anyone? Thanks, Ellen

Thank you NIck, but that would be very unwanted. Sure there must be a solution for this, right? I mean, I am not the first with this problem... The store is running for over half a year now, but recently 'old' customers are returning and having this issue. I am really not planning to go back, with all the changes we have made and all the new products added...

Hi, I have no idea... we let someone else do the upgrade. But, since it's not working, I guess, they did it in a different way... It's been half a year since we ended the collaboration; but only since a couple of weeks I started to notice it.

Hi, After migrating from 1.6 to 8.1 the customers created in 1.6 are not able to reset their password. Anytime they click the 'forgot password' link, they receive the message 'link is expired, ask for a new one'. Customers created in 8.1 do not have this issue. I read about solutions to change the value in the customers table - reset_password_validity, so I did, but the problem persists. I compared an old customer to a new customer, the reset_password token for a new one is just 'empty', for an old customer it says 'NULL'. I changed the value, but no luck. We have plenty of customers from before the switch to 8.1, so I am really hoping someone knows how to fix this. If you need more info, please let me know, I am happy to provide it. Hello Rick, Thank you for looking into this. It is the default theme, but is has been tweeked by a third party. I cannot seem to find it, according to the guys who have build the new website, it's not available in this version 8.1.1 and only an upgrade would make it work. In other words, we had to pay a lot extra for another update. But, maybe I can fix it myself with a little help This page for example: https://www.bike4travel.nl/kleding/4955-2608-vaude-overschoen-waterdicht-000.html#/250-maat-44_46 I have added an expected delivery date to this specific combination, but it's not showing in the frontend at all. Hi, I noticed that when I set an expected availability date for a certain product that is out of stock, it's not showing in the frontend on the product page. Is it a bug for 8.1.1 Or should I change a setting somewhere? Same goes for the button to leave your email behind in case a product was out of stock. No option anymore in 8.1.1? In our previous 1.6 version both were working. Anybody any idea where to change these settings? Thank you! Ellen Prestashop 8.1.1

Thank you, I checked some products and it looks like the new products - added after migration to 8.1.1 behave correctly. But the old products don't. So, something must have gone wrong during migration, no clue if this can be resolved. I asked the developer. If you have a solution, That would be great! So, I can share it with them. Hi, I have a question about stock amount for a product with combinations. I have a 'mother' product with reference 1214 which has 2 daughters with reference 1214-1 and 1214-2 The stock amount for 1214-1 = 2 and for 1214-2 = 3 I have been told that the normal behaviour would be that the mother with reference 1214 should be in sync with the combinations-daughters, therefor stock of the mother product should be 2 + 3 = 5. In our situation, the stock of the mother product is always '0'. Normally this would not be a problem, but in category view it looks like the product combinations are not in stock (because the mother has 0 stock), while the combinations are in stock. Does anybody know if there is a setting to make the mother product behave like this? Or what is causing the mother to show 0 in stock? I hope I made the issue clear, if not, please feel free to ask me. Best regards, Ellen Prestashop version 8.1.1

@musicmaster did all these things, apparently only a few experience these issues. Hopefully the new website will be ready asap. @Zohaib-fk Great, thanks for the tip! I will check the website. Yes, I'm afraid we have to be patient and wait for the new website. Since not all visitors experience these issues.

Hi, As of Sunday customers using Android telephone and Google Chrome version 119.0.6045.66 have issues using our website. We are still running 1.6.1.24 (a new website is being build at the moment and we expect it to go live at the end of the year), but in the mean time we hope to resolve this issue, because we experience a drop in sales. Some of the issues: - The website doesn't load correctly, drop down menus are completely open and cannot be closed. - The cookie message at the bottom cannot be closed - Selecting a different article in the drop down menu results in the standard article - Once the customer continues to the basket to order the product he gets to see a completely different account information page - ... Could it be a template issue? And do you think that there's a way to temporarily fix this issue? I am not a developer, but hopefully someone can help me. Ellen

Hi guys, Today I noticed something on the search result page; the logo link refers to an incorrect homepage: Let me show you: Go to https://biketubing.com/ and type for example 'Cable Guide' in the search box. You'll end up here: https://biketubing.com/search?controller=search&s=cable+guide Now, if you click on the logo top left; the link is: https://biketubing.com/home this page doesn;t exist, so you'll end up on a 404 page. If on this 404 page or any other page you click on the logo, you'll be directed to the correct homepage link: https://biketubing.com/ As far as I can see, it only occurs on the search result page. No recent updates. How can I resolve this? Running on 1.7.8.0 Thank you for helping! Ellen

Hi, we want to upgrade our prestashop 1.6.1.24 to the latest stable 1.7.8.X (which one is that by the way?) version. First of all, I managed to create a clone of the 1.6.1.24 version, so we do now have a test environment of the shop. So, I thought I'd first try and use Presta's one-click upgrade. But when I click the module, all I get is a blank page. I then turned on debug mode and immediately receive the following error: Unknown error op lijn 290 in bestand /home/customer/www/prestaclone.bike4travel.nl/public_html/classes/module/Module.php [8192] array_key_exists(): Using array_key_exists() on objects is deprecated. Presta automatically sends multiple 'refund' emails to customer

Yes, Mollie says it's Presta. They only 'change' the status once. -
Hi, not sure if I'm in the right place, but I have an issue with 'refund' emails. See attachment. We use Mollie Payment module. When we refund the complete amount, an email is send automatically to the customer (that's what we want), but a customer complained that he received multiple emails. That's a bit too much. One email is enough. Presta keeps resending the email. Is this a known issue (couldn't find any info)? And is there a solution? How to resolve this? Thank you, Ellen Presta 1.6.4
