  1. It's still not fixed in 1.7.7.3. This problem has persisted for (AFAIK) three versions of Presta over many years. Here's my version of the workaround described above. It's not entirely satisfactory, but at least we don't have customers mistakenly thinking they are getting free shipping. Instead, they might think they can only Click & Collect, but IMO that's a lesser evil. International > Translations Then choose “Modify Translations” > “Themes Translations/classic/English”, then click “Modify” Then in the left hand column you’re looking for Shop > Theme > Checkout Then scroll down to find Entry Captioned “Free” and edit it to "Click & Collect" **But really, this is something for the core developers to fix.**
  2. The "Sort By" function on the category page has stopped working. I can still change the number of items displayed, and the page will reload with the correct number of products displayed, but changing e.g. from "Price: Lowest First" to "In Stock First" has no effect. Has anybody else experienced this? I've searched the forums and can't find anything specific to 1.6. There's these two queries relating to 1.7, but I haven't (AFAIK!) changed anything to do with Faceted search (does that even exist on 1.6?) so I don't believe they're relevant.
  3. Thanks Jurist, but I don't think that's what I want. I'm looking for a way to pick up mis-spelled product names, e.g. "blous" >>> "blouse", "Daftmil" >>> "Daftmill". Cheers Rod
  4. The facility to add aliases for search terms (Preferences > Search) doesn't work. I'm using 1.6.1.24 on ubuntu 18.04. I've rebuilt the entire index of products. Has anybody got a solution for this? Does it work on 1.7? Here are previous topics asking the same question: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/882749-prestashop-16-internal-search-problem-aliases-list-not-working/ Is there a workaround? A module I can buy? Cheers Rod
  5. In the back office (Shipping > Carriers) the different carrier options can be dragged up and down to change the order in which they are displayed to customers. This doesn't work. No matter what I do or how I change things in the back office, the order doesn't change in the front office (even though I'm getting the "Update Successful" notification in the back office). Does anybody else have this problem? Has anybody solved it? I'm running 1.6.1.24 on ubuntu 18.04. Cheers Rod Graham
  6. My first post, so apologies if I've put it in the wrong place
  7. Our range of products includes Cuban rums and Cuban cigars. Paypal have recently declined two transactions that involve Cuban products and now they have limited our account, so we're not able to withdraw funds. They say that they won't remove these limitations until we disable the option to pay by Paypal on transactions that include Cuban products. I have searched the forums and the addons marketplace, but I can't find any posts from other users on the subject, and there don't seem to be any modules that would allow me to filter payment methods according to products in the shopping cart. For now I have completely disabled Paypal. Has anyone else had to tackle this problem? Any suggestions? Cheers Rod
